Great to see a mechanic working in a clean work space. Hate working with clutter that usually leaves you looking for the one tool needed for a job. Thank you for this informative presentation.
I just got one of those FMF factory pipes today. They are beautiful! I think that one almost looks better with the now very minor dings. It adds some character. Great job
Excellent job! I’m building a 1976 Yamaha RD400 drag bike and the two old Tooley pipes need plenty of help. They are very expensive to replace, so now I will try your method. I also have Pryme products as well - awesome. Thanks for the video.
a dent puller and some cheap arc welding rods are very handy for those persistent tiny dings. Find the center of the depression, weld the rod to it. Use the slide hammer to pull the dent out.
Hey love ur videos and I watched ur build video of that Suzuki rm125 03 and thought it was a beautiful bike before realizing I lived not to far from there I am wondering if it is still available
Damn!!! What an amazing transformation!!! I really enjoyed this video and I think I might have picked up some new skills so that I can use them in the future!!! I have an 88 YZ250 and it has a PSI pipe on it. It is in pretty decent shape...a few little dings, but somebody decided it would look better painted chrome...what are people thinking?
@@KincadePavich ok thanks im rebuilding my KDX 200 1989 and got a fmf pipe i want to do it looks sick first 2 stroke because i have a XR350 1985,KTM 400sx 2001,XR80 2004
Hey man! love your videos! just a question im in nz if I was to enter and win the bike would you ship it or is it only for people that live in your country?
Dang I would totally buy 5 entires but I’m from Alberta Canada.. I wish I could win a bike built buy you! Truly inspiring and I hope to gain the same talents you have building bikes!
I actually updated the eligibility to include Canada excluding Quebec. If the page on my website hasn't updated for you, try clearing your cache. I was still digging into legality when I set it up and hadn't changed that yet - thanks for the reminder. A trip up to Alberta in the summer would be EPIC if you won! I appreciate your comment!
I really should do a 4 stroke build! And unfortunately right now contests are available to US/Canada only. I'd love to figure out international laws to allow everyone to enter!
@@KincadePavich it’s definitely sketchier to use, just faster. If you don’t mind taking your time there’s nothing wrong with that. Pipe turned out great regardless man, good job

What is the red paste you used on the silencer, when you were closing it up?
Always love polishing my pipe
Who doesn't?
@@KincadePavich can't argue that, but my mother always told me if I polished my pipe too much I would need glasses!!!

Great job on restoring the pipe! Gives me some good inspo for when it’s time for exhaust on my channel 👊🏼

Where do you purchase the tools to plug both ends of the pipe and pressurize the muffler?
Killin it dude! Great work!
Thanks a ton!
I’m gonna do that to my shifter go kart before the season starts next year

What did you use in the dermal to make the pipe look that way
Where did you purchase or did you build the pieces to block off the pipe and add air pressure to it?

I live in the US, is there a retailer who is in the states for the 6" Pryme Rough cleaning wheel or a similar product?
Yes, Pryme is a US based company. Link is in description and here: prymemx.com/?ref=kincade

Dude! Nice! 👌👌
Thanks Andrew!
Nice job
May 31st of 2023 is a long time though
coool, good job
An oxy settling torch will do the job much faster than mapp gas
I believe it! Although I'm not sure how much hotter I'd want to get - I do know someone who melted through a pipe doing this.

why when he was putting the d 40 on he put it on like that 7:16
It prevents rust and gives a nice shiny surface coat!
@@KincadePavich mhm the grip and wipe motion must be the secret huh 🤣
Can I enter if I live in aus? Will pay for shipping if won haha
Oh boy... As much as I'd love to, it's a big can of worms I'm not sure I want to open both from a logistics and legal standpoint.
Nice toy bro 😂

I love you
Should I enter 100$ will I win it
I don't know if you'll win it, but you'd certainly have a chance! May 31st might be a long time but all great things take time!
