The crank rebuild was very impressive.
Also I really like the camera work, the lack of annoying music made the whole process a joy to watch!
The fact that he washed the engine before disassembling is already praise.
Nothing wrong lol
@@tfsvids4117
No, many people actually don’t wash it before disassembling the engine.
I agree, but I would have done that Before Taking the Engine Out ! Every time & Anytime I work on my Bike or Any bike,I Thoroughly Wash it First !
@@bobbyblenio4571
Well, there are different reasons. Modern engines are much easier to clean if all the electronics are removed, but you're right.
No need to washhhhhhhhh
After watching videos from India and Pakistan how they rebuild engines sitting in the mud. This is very professional rebuild. Nice to see it.
Silent professionalism. The best kind of worker. Thank you.
That Was Great, Man! No Crappy Music & No Jibber Jabber. Can't Wait To Hear It Run! Thank You.
Nice work, excellent detail. Brings back memories of the good old 2 stroke days.
I'm so used to 4stroke engine and engine rebuild that I find some of parts disassembly quite rare and facinating to watch.
I love doing this same type of a thing with Mountain Bikes & RC Helis, your production value is great!
an artisan at work.
one thing i find about meticulous work is that satisfactory feeling you get while working
Great job on the resto. Looking to more high quality productions ❤
Absolutely great attention to detail, no music and amazing result….the only thing missing, like many other videos, is the measuring and adjustment for the correct squish clearance and conformation of the combustion chamber volume. It’s a massive part of building a 2 stroke for performance and reliability.
I would have loved to have seen that in this video.
I was so excited while watching this, keeping me inspired when I’m building motors 🙌🏻
Excellent detail, very skilled, I thought I was average building R6 engines but you are on a different level, thank you.
Great work and some fantastic filming and editing. Thanks for uploading.
Sped up like this it loses ASMR effect and it is difficult to follow the logical sequence of steps, so even any teaching value is lost.
@@gregmarchegiani6656Yes, if primary the goal of the video was ASMR or teaching I would agree.
I see it more as entertainment for the mechanically inclined so perhaps that is why our opinions may vary.
I’ve been a mechanic for 53 years, love your work you should be proud!
Thank you David!
His workshop practices are superb. I am a 35 yr pro and saw a couple little tricks of his that I will be stealing.
Absolutely beautiful work mate!!
By far the best restoration vid I've seen.
Excellent job man! Looks fantastic! 😮
Satisfação garantida. Parabéns pelo grande trabalho.
beautifully done...makes me want to rebuild every motor I own!
That was very enjoyable to watch! Amazing job!
A truly wonderful job. Very cautious, and perfectly executed ❤❤❤
Thank you William!
То чудова робота,для любителя покрутити гайки ,як бальзам на душу.
Дякую за чудове відео. : )
Awesome job you are gifted for sure thanks for the vlog 👍
Today I have watching more than 10 videos of your channel. Tomorrow I will continue. Regards from Caracas/ Venezuela
Best rebuild i have seen yet
The man knows his craft, perfect video thank you
Amazing work!
Well done mate👍
Великолепная работа, смотреть удовольствие!!!
Spotless just how it should be done ! Last one I rebuilt was a ‘95 RM 250 I find doing engines therapeutic
Fantastic results, I really like the way you did the crankshaft, the cases look as good as vapor blasting.
Thanks man, I was surprised how clean the cases came out too.
Rooh comment c'est beau! 20minute de pure bonheur
Merci
Really great...I loved the detail of both the filming and the cleaning. The re-building / restoration of the engine was on a next level. You are at the top of the list for this. Keep the content coming.....@stanforadventure
Marc, your level of attention to detail and meticulous focus on minor/avoidable tasks is incredible.
Thank you Mark!
Like a new penny 👌 stellar work as always man.
I like to see the bike run .. excellent work 👌🏽
Really nice work. The heating the socket trick was cool.
I always watching different kind of assembling and disassembly but this is one of the amazing.. more power to you sir... From Philippines...♥️
so clear and up to detail...great work
One of the best, of not the best, resto video I've ever had the pleasure to watch! For some reason I've never had much luck assembling a new clutch pack dry, then putting oil over it. They *always* slip on me, and I inevitably have to take the discs back out, and put them in oil before assembling again. I always wonder at these dry packs then oil installs, if they ever have issues after the video, and never get reported after completion.
Thanks buddy! You're right pouring oil over it won't do anything, but letting it sit in that oil bath and rotating the clutch with the kick starter a few times to saturate every spot should do the trick.
Love the way polishing the blocks 🥰🤩
Amazing video, I was truly captivated the entire time.
Thank you Jon! I'm happy you enjoyed it.
You are truly the goat when it comes to dirt bike rebuilds. I’ve seen them all and no one comes close to you. You are my freakin idol. You could be a factory mechanic.
Thank you bro, I really do appreciate that.
That’s how it’s done! You don’t see things done the right way on TH-cam often. 🙌🏼
Formidável o trabalho e o carinho que você teve com esse motor..... Honroso mesmo..... Parabéns!!!!
This thing is gonna look clean when it’s done good job also favorite bike too
Beautiful work!
Kamu adalah yang terbaik bro 🎉🎉
Two strokes are so easy to work on, love them.
I'll bet it took longer to edit the video than do the engine work - thanks for taking the time, it was beautiful.
I hate it and love it when geniuses make videos like this.😂 Thanks
Awesome job man and wicked video. I have a 97 rm250 I wish I had your talent so I could do my engine the same way ❤
Great workmanship mate! Really first class.
Thanks Nigel!
The Master at work. You deserve far more than 30K subscribers.
Thanks Eric, feel free to tell your friends : )
Au top!
Travail de qualité sans aucun doute !
This makes me want to go take something apart and clean it! I want to build a vapor blaster this winter!!!!
I just built a home cerakote oven that I can also use for powder coating motorcycle and car parts (for myself and the fam).
My Son is also going to cerakote his pew pew machine!
But having a vapor blaster will be awesome and make jobs like this even more satisfying and easy!
Great video!!!
love it! great work and beautiful video
Absolutely excellent job!! Your attention to detail is amazing. It is too nice to be put back in any bike. Work of art now. What is the blue lube you are using?
What a realy nice work. Perfect.
Love how you do it all by hand and not just send it off for blasting
Gorgeous.
Yeah ok, you got me. The engine is coming out of the 06 exc200. You've set the standard.
(2nd engine rebuild I'll have done, excited for round 2. Different bike though. First was 74 TS185, was very rewarding.)
Beautiful work,God level
Mad Marc can you do video on some of your tools like blind bearing removers and plugs for the intake/cylinder? GREAT video!
I might do this on IG or something
Mükemmel iş, müzik yerine alet sesi çok başarılı temiz 🎉
Very clean restore. Even inside the engine it is clean!
Kudos! That's the way it should be done.
Bravo beau travail vos vidéos sont génial merci
This is very professionally managed, Great work 👍
Thanks buddy!

Gracias hermano!
hey very nice, i just replaced the piston on my RM250 from 1997 and i had the last size with 66,38mm. i would love ot rebuild mine as you did, but i cant fiind all the needed parts and am not able to do all the work my self. i would have to buy a view tools. but very nice video i am allmost jellous about this nice project.
Nice work Marc. I’m sure it looks better than the day it was originally made.
Everything clean nice job
你的影片,對引擎重整有強迫症的人來說,真是療癒⋯🤣
Now that’s talent!
This is amazing, keep it up mate !
Thank you my friend!
Très belle restauration, good job👍
I bet the video took longer to edit than the engine build took! Seriously great production dude.
Amazing ❤
came here to learn nu thingz. Thank You Sir.
Masterpiece 👏
There is so much I wanna know from watching this… what is that spray lube. What is that blue grease? Where do you find all the torque specs? Amazing watching a master at work.
Top shelf photography and all those sexy seal and bearing drivers. I bet you do this stuff for a living with that kit. A bit of explanation would have been nice. Next time I fire up my lathe I'll make a spindle for a scouring pad polishing tool. Good one!
Much respect
Engine was very clean on the inside, well looked after with regular oil changes by the looks
You are a Master builder. One question. Why would you not soak the clutch disks overnight in an oil bath.
Looks amazing
Thanks Steve! Fair question: The plates were already a little oily (the guy I bought the bike from included it with the bike) so I think it may have already been oiled, but in any case, even if it wasnt, I knew I was going to pour the oil in the engine before I get it in the bike and so they'll be submerged in oil anyways, and I just need to rotate the clutch a little with the kick starter a few times over a few days to make sure I get everything. I could also just rest the engine on its side on my couch. I'll do that tonight actually.
This is art.. 👌🏽
Good job! 👍
C упоением посмотрел! Отличная работа!
Best ASSMR video ever !
Really good to see ! Perfect job man ! Vidéo without music are better . Thanks .
