Explosive live ….brilliant memories of that era ..but still rockin in the free world now still making great music…biggest travesty in music history that they didn’t fully conquer the world
I saw a guy with an Alarm concert shirt on. I yelled, hey I like your shirt! He said thanks, you like the Alarm? I said hell yes, the original lineup! He appeared to have no idea of Mike, Dave, Eddie and Twist. As much as their music means to me, I will never see any version but the original. If it never happens I’ll live with my 4 concerts in Boston !
Wow, what is Dave playing, I don't recognize that guitar, I wonder if he borrowed it for the night, cause it is all over the mix without all his cool harmonics he usually does. Great to see them either way.
Just before the breakup Dave toured his Hard Traveling CD. He played in a small club in NH. Got him to sign my Declaration CD and had a beer with him. Great memory and he was simply a great guy.
Really!! They're so underrated and people usually call them the copy of U2, but in a negative way. I really dislike U2, I can't understand their BIG popularity. The Alarm got something special while U2 sound so flat to me
I miss the hope and yearning that was always part of the Alarm's music--would be great to hear again in 2024
So beautiful! Every time I hear this song I look around, and see my wold is this it is sad and uplifting and it is Absolute Reality!
Still get goosebumps watching any alarm performance from the 80s. Greatest band that ever walked the earth.
This song is always my favorite when it comes to 80's songs! Because my father always play this on our speakers very loud.
STILL one of my favorite bands!
The Alarm were such an underated band ,saw them live ,great and Mike Peters songs were absoluteley fab.
This is great stuff. Absolute Reality especially is one of my all-time Alarm favourites. Thanks for the wonderful memories. Xx

Great performance! Who’s the keyboard player? He blends in just great. Sound and clothing!
I think it's Alan Shacklock.
Alarm fans will love VH1’s Bands Reunited.

Saw Dave in a small place in NH when Hard Travellin’ came out. Just him and an acoustic. Did get him to sign my Declaration CD tho!
Cheers to Mark Taylor!

How the hell did U2 become bigger than the Alarm? This band is a million times more talented than the Irish whingers.

Better management and bonos stage presence
@@jamescotter833 Bono’s stage presence? Great if you’re a lefty whinging tosser I suppose.
The Alarm are absolutely better than U2
I love both bands but that's a big call.
Those five U2 albums from the 80s, were all sensational.
