    Ppl need to stop crying about getting their ass kicked. Point blank you lost you got destroyed by other competitors who executed the race better. It doesn't matter if you doped all year which would be impossible the fact remains you still have to train at a high level to compete on the world stage. Some ppl in the comment section just think you can dope up and win. Well that's not the case doping can allow one to train longer and have better recovery but at the same time it's not a magical potion that turns you superhuman you still have to execute the race and ppl keep forgetting each human has a cap on what their body can achieve with or with out drugs. You still have to have superior talent and skill to win. So just stop crying and go back to the board and figure out a better plan to run a better race. I can assure you her race was not flawless by any means and she was shocked to see that she was not the athlete that she believed she was and gassed up to be. It's a reality check for her type.

    The drug testing system in developing countries (Eastern Europe, East Africa, Caribbean, North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa) are absolutely appalling - the testers cover up positive tests in return of prize money.

    • @andeyo1
      @andeyo1 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      IOC and IAAF have testing teams that carry out random test during events, Faith Kipyengon was tested in Rio with other atheletes and she was negative

    • @bradderz_-tk4pj
      @bradderz_-tk4pj 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      andeyo1 - testing during summer competitions is useless, the majority of doping occurs during winter training (September to January) which is were the majority of the hard work is done - testing is not conducted during training camps like in the US, UK, France, Germany etc.

  • @BigSleepyOx

    The comments here are so stupid.
    Here we see an interviewer goading a "controversial" answer from someone. He asked the question 3 or 4 times, and finally asked it in a "leading the witness" manner that essentially provided the answer he wanted, and Huddle hesitatingly simply voiced agreement with that answer. It's not like Huddle made some proactive declaration on the topic.
    But youtube commenters, typical, decide to post ridiculous comments trashing the athlete being interviewed.

    Pity Americans aren't aware of the concept of irony .
    America has always been the world leader in everything to do with drugs including but not limited to PEDS. Even school sport in the US is PEDs riddled
    Everyone else is just playing catchup
    Some American may not like drugs but if you can get away with it then it sure beats losing

    Commenting on other countries does not indicate absolution of your own country. It simply acknowledges there have been some major doping cases that resulted in results being changed even years later.

    Don't blame all Americans based on one persons comment. There are drug users everywhere not just American. She should have kept her mouth shut and just train harder. Not all athletes from America use drugs.

  • @JonasFilberg
    @JonasFilberg 7 ปีที่แล้ว +14

    Y'all Americans who have people like Gatlin (twice) and lashaw meritt etc should be focusing on yourself rather than us ethiopians. Sure we mabye have some dopers (every country has) but don't target Ethiopia and ayana just because ethiopians have dominanted 10000m for years etc. Ayana, one year later of the Olympic heroics she's still not found guilty, as I always say. Innocent until someone is proven.

    • @MisterManguaco
      @MisterManguaco 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Bradley Brodsky Wrong, the penis enlargement product he consumed (ExtenZe) contains Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which is a banned androgen steroid hormone. Therefore, regardless yours or his opinion, the fact is that he failed three doping tests and as a result he was suspended.

    There is a freaking scientific reason as to why east africans (Kenyans,Ethiopians,some Ugandans and somalis) are good at long distance races. They live at a higher altitude which increases there red blood cells count since there is less oxygen at higher altitudes .So when there at a lower altitude they are able to absorb more oxygen thus more energy for endurance...(only scientists understand this respiration process)

    You probably have no clue what every ethiopian runners have gone through to be successful. Almost all ethiopian runners are from rural area where schools are miles away from their home, and they grow up running every day to go to school. I understand where you come from, but the fact is they did not have the opportunity to board school bus to go to school like you did. Their strength, stamina and determination comes from that. They win because of all the hardships they faced growing up and the doping test you suggested is nonsense to me. You probably need to do some research and learn how people live in other parts of the world

    • @andrewaters20
      @andrewaters20 7 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Whats your point? You don't think Christian Coleman is a little upset he got beat by Gatlin as well? A clean athlete should always be able to call out the questionable ones. Because others in the USA have doped she cant speak on it? And shes right, Ethiopians are able to get away with a lot. Something needs to be done about them just as much as those like Gatlin.

    • @dudeit7721
      @dudeit7721 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Talking about issues in the sport is never a bad thing ... If I ruled the world I would wipe out all world records and perma ban each and every athlete that dopped. Dopers would be banned from the sport FOREVER ... no sponsorships no interaction no coaching ... in fact I would criminally charge with with fraud and jail time. Till this happens the sport will never grow .. this is also a lesson for other sports that turn a blind eye.

    • @andrewaters20
      @andrewaters20 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm not for wiping the record books. I don't want to see a clean athlete lose a record, even if we'd never know it. That integrity, to me, is more important than outing the cheats. But I agree charging athletes with fraud would be a good first step.

    • @todossantosensenadarunning8735
      @todossantosensenadarunning8735 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      yes.." i feel they get away with a lot.... but we have justin gatlin"... NO AMERICAN EVER.
      and yes i do think criminally charges with fraud and jail time will be the best thing to do.

    So the country that created peds is totally clean and haven't developed new ones that are untraceable? Hmmm
    But even if the Kenyans and Ethiopians were 100% clean they would still won.

  • @fredricksmith-something.2125
    @fredricksmith-something.2125 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ummm. The Ethiopians doping? Idk. Thats a new one. I mean its possible. But they also have a strong history of producing great distance runners. Same goes for Kenya.
    Kinda sad to hear that coming from Huddle. But, its an opinion. She the one running next to them.
