Lyrics:
I'll stop right here and say these words
I was scared and looking for a home
Nowhere to roam
You came here filled up my soul
A blinded love that won't let go
Surprise are you really mine
I'm complete and can't believe
I'm holding you and you're holding me
Sure as the bird will fly
I'll be standing by your side
(On and on and on and on)
I will be your super hero
And if you're lost in the cold dark night
I will be your guiding light
(On and on and on and on)
I will be your super hero
Years of searching for the light
It's funny how the cracks begin to show
Drifting more to see at night
But sometimes it's the smaller hands that roam
Take me home
So hang your head upon me now
And know that I will never let you go
Sure as the bird will fly
I'll be standing by your side
(On and on and on and on)
I will be your super hero
And if you're lost in the cold dark night
I will be your guiding light
(On and on and on and on)
I will be your super hero
I will never lay down
Until I see this through
I will fight, I will battle
Decimating all at will
This is it to a pulse
And if I feel for you
I will fight, I will battle
For a better life for you
Sure as the bird will fly
I'll be standing by your side
(On and on and on and on)
I will be your super hero
And if you're lost in the cold dark night
I will be your guiding light
(On and on and on and on)
I will be your super hero
(On and on and on and on)

I love seeing these guys still kicking ass. Remember listening to them in high school. I love it even more that they bring their families into their music. Something genuine for a change w all the bullshit and hate in the word lately. #love #alllivesmater
This should be every parents song to their kids, no better feeling than being a parent and steering them in the right direction, might not turn out the way you want, but you never stop. To all the great mom's and dad's out there.
And who ever said Metal doesn't have heart? You were wrong, mom. I was right! Keep that face melted, brethren!
Such an uplifting powerful jammin' song for which ATREYU, Aaron Richardson, and M. SHADOWS did an extremely awesome job together on this song.
Greetings from Pittsburgh Pa USA

@@r.t.stratton6166 This is coming from a War Vet, thank you for your service.
I rather go back to War than do your job. Takes a lot to do the Mental Health field.
Thanks for you and everyone else who is listening to protocol(even though we wouldn't be in this predicament if people practiced flu season protocol, but oh well).
You're the real hero. You doing your part to help with the curb helps those in essential job field.
Stay meditated. A meditative mind is stronger than any vaccine sometimes.
30 years old now and reminiscing our school days listening to atreyu, underoath, killswitch etc.....you know the feeling guys
To the one who is reading this , I hope you'll have a very nice day!!!!
Am I the only one who feels old looking at these guys??? lol so many teen memories❤️❤️
M. Shadows and Brandon singing in the same song, I hope this since 2014
🇧🇷🖤
On Brandon's side project Hell or Highwater they both have a song together called I'll Go Alone. It rules
@@FadingDaylightPro tks
Go alone by Hell Or Highwater, one of the best songs.
Stop it. This is music for 14 years to listen to on the way to baseball practice.
What a song, I love this message. the true essence of life. give and fight for the people that we love.
I feel so blessed I got to open up for Atreyu at M.I. They are genuinely some of the nicest, sweetest, talented people I’ve gotten to meet along this musical journey. Hope everyone is having a wonderful life post pandemic. Aloha ❤️🤙🏽
I opened for them in dallas in 2009 and aveng seven fold and bullet fmv. What a year
Very nice. Atreyu is pure kick ass. Thank you fellas. Sincerely
My kids absolutely love you guys. Every time we go on road trips they always ask to hear this song and we all sing it as loud as we can.

Right there with you at this moment.
Dude. My daughter is watching cartoons right now as I cry my heart out to this song. These guys have always been able to hit me at the right time in my life. Every album had a song that just connected
Best collaboration ever!!!! ❤❤❤

I grew up listening to these guys.now I'm a father and it's great seeing this side of all these dad's.straight up real
This one of the bands that got me into metal. Love them so much. 🖤🖤🖤
Saw these guys at the Orange Peel in Asheville, NC. Best show that I have ever been too!
I wanted to be my daughters super hero...she is my super hero guardian angel now. Miss you Ember Lou.
Damn dude...sorry
Incredible song. Though I may not have heard this band before, I'm listening now.
😭 man that hit the feelings hard. As a dad of a 5 year old daughter and 1 year old son I hope that one day you two will look back when you’re all grown up and say that your mom and I did our best to be role models to you two. I look forward to the day when our work is done and see you two grown into hero’s with your little ones. Love you!
The wife and I loved the 20 year tour. Hope to see you again in TN!
I’m not crying you’re crying
Modern music it's feels like old music with amazing legendary music style and voice amazing one!!
i find it bad ass that bands like atreyu, trivium, a7x, and underoath all know each other and like to do stuff with each others bands. so awesome when bands do that stuff.
Is that a little greatness I hear coming back into shadows voice??😍
Love it with kids the same age and being a war bet..... this is one of best song I have heard from yall and anyone with in the past year. Keep it up!
You guys have been my favorite band since I was a teenager. Your music got me through some of the toughest years of my life and helped me through a very dark time in my life. I named my first born son Atreyu and made sure his first concert was to see you. We had the privilege of a meet and greet for stop in Colorado Springs this for 20 year tour. My sons dream ironically is to become a rockstar and with name like Atreyu Schecter he just might be lol. At 3:36 in video you show his picture and I just wanted you to what that means to me as a father and what it means to him. This is our favorite song. Growing up without a father my main goal has always been to be if nothing else a good father to my children. You guys are the best!
That guitar solo 🤘🏼That chorus 🤘🏼The whole f**cking song! 🤘🏼F*ck yes! 🤘🏼
Hits right in the feels. Living the dad life. Grandpa too.. thanks for this.
I’ve been an Atreyu fan since the beginning. This song is absolutely beautiful, it’s so amazing watching you guys mature and looking so happy after all these years.
Oh yeah and M Shadows makes it all that much better. Keep moving guys, and thank you for all of your amazing music! Love from California!!
best song from the album , finally with official video
Met Aaron and the rest of The Almost at a free Christian concert called The Uprising. Super chill dude and really down to earth. Loved this song! 🤘🏻
You are very lucky. He seems like a good person 😊
@@lancethefilmguy9392 Super down to earth dude. All the members of The Almost were.
And this is exactly why true Atreyu fans and new fans love them! Amazing
Wow! Goosebumps! Heard Atreyu when I was 15 years old. Now I'm 28 and also a Father.
Nice combination. All great artists from quality bands. What a collaboration!!
WE NEED MORE COLLABS LIKE THIS!! I HOPE TO HEAR ATREYU ON A7X's UPCOMING ALBUM!
Perfect! M.Shadows❤️I love Is A7x
Love from Mizoram, India🇮🇳
This is probably the best dad rock could ever get honestly
It’s actually really good
This song has such a good meaning behind it it’s incredible my favorite song ever
I can tell Avenged had a huge impact on how this song was produced. It sounds like an extra song from the Nightmare album. 💖
val da.bestest agreed
Oh please don`t insult the Nightmare album
Too many fan girls on here. He's great but don't get carried away. You sound a little ridiculous
@@althoughnot5503 The Nightmare album was great but this song is still awesome. Nightmare - depressing metal, this song - uplifting metal
I agree sounds like it could been on album wouldn't be surprised if Matt didnt write this definitely heavy a7x influence but it's wonderful harmony of all voices combined truly unique song
Wow this is incredible
This is super awesome guys...
Thanks for inspiring me.
This is so heart warming and wholesome. So glad to see the bands I’ve loved become dads now.
Was gunna say....even before shadows started singing i was thinking "when did atreyu become A7X"?
Ikr.... this song really sounds like A7X-ish
I was going to say the same thing. Guitar sounded the same. Which is not like atreyu
Was more upset m. Shadows didn't make more of an appearance. His voice is better than both those guys
The conversion started in 08 lol
I sing to my daughter at bed time and she'll ask me for a new song now and again. Just had this one come up a couple weeks ago and I've been repeating it and started singing it.
Thanks for a great song and message.
I hope to see you all on the road again sometime very soon!
I'm disappointed in myself that I couldnt tell that it was Aaron Gillespie singing. I figured it was maybe Dan Jacobs, but I hear it now!! And M.Shadows is just awesome.
This song lifts me up!!
Much LOVE Atreyu.!
3 of my biggest influences as a teenager.
Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, Underoath/The Almost. (Aaron)
The Passion. 😎 stay true

I couldn't tell either. To me, he sounded like Dan Marsala from Story of the Year.
It’s ok he sounds WAY different on this track
Great song on this Fathers day.
This song is amazing, too beautiful! ❤
And the final one, hilarious haha
