Lyrics:
Rationalize
Mix truth with lies
It’s all black magic
Mixed with bad habits
Oh, isn’t it tragic
I’m a patient
Going apeshit
On the fourth floor
In the psych ward
I’ve been baptized
Franchised
Americanized
And I’m left here wondering why
I built my house on sand
Hoping it would stand
The storms that come my way
And now I’m left to face
The weight of my mistakes
And a chance to start again
Oh, oh
Build my life again
I’m compromised
Wage war on my mind
Feels good on the dark side
It’s all black magic
Mixed with bad habits
Oh, isn’t it tragic
I’m a patient
Going apeshit
On the fourth floor
In the psych ward
I’ve been baptized
Franchised
Americanized
Left here wondering why
I built my house on sand
Hoping it would stand
The storms that come my way
And now I’m left to face
The weight of my mistakes
And a chance to start again
Oh, oh
Build my life again
Oh, oh
Build my life again
Hey
I’m a patient
Going apeshit
I’m a monster
An outsider
It’s all bullshit
It’s all bullshit
It’s all bullshit
Tear it down
Oh, isn’t it tragic
Oh, oh
Build my life again
I built my house on sand
Hoping it would stand
The storms that come my way
And now I’m left to face
The weight of my mistakes
And a chance to start again
Oh, oh
Build my life again
Oh, oh
Build my life again
Build my life again
Build my life again
Build my life again

THIS BAND IS CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED
Im seeing them in less than a month with Wage War ;)
AMEN!🙏🏻 My North American tour shirt is to small now...😢
HAhahah. Underrated? for rock band that somtimes goes metal they are big. Milions listens on spotifi and YT. They are well know to evrybody in rock/metal community and plays on biggest festivals so no, they are not undderated.
I agree.... I think people dont know what underrated means sometimes ..lol. It seems as though every band on TH-cam is underrated to someone though.
You want an underrated band check out O'Brother. That's underrated. To me anyway.
If they're still making music . Not sure.
The best thing about Nothing More is that their songs have a lot of positivity and spirituality incorporated into them. I don't listen to them to match my angry moods, but to feel better.
Some of their songs. Others are just pure dark like the one involving the music video of the toxic girlfriend
@@christiandauz3742 yeah of course, some of them for sure are. Means I can choose which to listen to depending on my mood haha
They have a way of making you understand things through their songs. It’s realism and pure talent.
Remember, metal is angry, so you don't have to be.
@@GRIFFIN-TACTICAL7667damn for real tho let it out through the song and listen or sing until that anger is no longer inside your heart ❤️
That opening sequence is probably the most stunning set of images that the music industry has delivered. Simply beatiful and expertly done. Kudos to the visual artists.
Nothing More finally got some "BLEGHCK'S" in a song!

Nah... This band is outstanding. They have a really original and unique sound. Pure talent.
I agree with you so much. I think they're one of the most innovative bands out there this days, they really are outstanding

Totally agree
Pure talent, and pure energy.
These guys are BADASS!!🤘🏻🤘🏻
This makes me feel exactly how I felt when I heard Ocean Floor for the very first time in 2015. Album of the year contender.
💯 Ocean Floor is a masterpiece. The most perfect sound.
Yeahhh you all always say that
i havent heard a transition this good since ocean floor and ballast. except maybe f8 by ffdp
@@SmokeWithMeInCT Are you stupid on purpose? Just because a bunch of people say similar things about this song, it doesn't mean whatever they are saying isn't true. In fact, a bunch of people saying the same thing about this song should make what they're saying more true
Could you tell me which song/album you heard. I need la salsa
Those Watts quotes they put in their songs is so cool. Gives me actual chills
this whole song gave me actual chills for real lol
Came to say exactly this, and I wasn't disappointed!
Listen to their first album.. There's a lot more on that.

Heavy Nothing More is best Nothing More.
They think this is “angry music”, the ones who haven’t battled what us “Jenny”’s have; but it’s NOT angry - this man is our lullaby. 🙌🏽🙏🏽🫶🏽 Thank you for soothing us, Johnny. We got this

They obviously didn't pass the axe to break stuff so the tears don't fall while feet are dangling of the edge watching the bodies hit the floor staying headstrong at the black parade

They've been one of the most underrated bands for like a decade now lol
This collab is TREMENDOUS.
I was NOT expecting that new intro 😳🔥🔥
It's CARNAL
12 years listening to this wonderful band that never stops evolving, I'm from Venezuela, I now live in Brazil, I hope one day to be able to see them live, it would be a dream come true!
The best live. Seeing them for 4th time 3 weeks from now in Michigan
In Brazil, please. Wherever they want.
Seeing them Wednesday! This will be my 7th show
We want Nothing More in Brazil soon! Bring the Blergh to us Jonnhy 🤘🏻🔥
Good to see a Latino brother (or sister) enjoying this music. Apoyo latino desde Chile 🇨🇱
It's very rare to see a band follow up an album and it be better than the first.
These guys just keep getting better and better every album they drop.
It's like most bands are Land Before Time, or any Disney movie, and Nothing More is The Godfather.
Why didn't this get a million views in less than 24 hours? Nothing More deserves that as they kick so much ass! If you get the chance to see them live, do it. They are amazing. Also, Eric V's screaming never gets old.
Because people suck
Because it's not monotonous AI written, mass produced copy and paste garbage that everyone seems to listen to.

I'm honestly surprised we are getting another album so soon after spirits. I was expecting another 4+ year wait. But no complaints here! Can't wait for the new album!
They wrote a lot during lockdown when they couldn’t record, it’s so nice have a lot of stuff ready
also breakup record for sure lol
I love heavy Nothing More. Self-titled album vibes for sure! Keep it up!
Nothing More and the obvious gratitude they have for Alan Watts (my favorite philosopher who basically saved my life.) just, oohh my goodness. Thankin' the stars for their emergence. Love~~
same i love him
Grammy vibes all over the place on the new releases ... this time for the WIN! No joke. I was starting to become disillusioned with today's new music. Nothing More killed that quick!!
They're too good for the Granny's.
Nah. The grammys will just award it to Metallica again as they have no idea about metal.
@@Grover91 Sad facts. Spiritbox should of gotten, instead of awarding Metallica for making St. Anger part 4. lmo
Grammys are rigged, we won't see them win. They are too good and pure for the industry to win. But good for them
BEST BAND AROUND. These guys seriously continue to somehow get better with each song and each album they put out. Jonny and the guys are the literal definition of what it means to consistently evolve, become better, but yet stay true to their roots. Congrats Nothing More. I’ve been here since the “The Few Not Fleeting” album and this is insane. Love this song so much it has been on repeat everyday. Plus these guys are so humble and very appreciative. Got to hang with them on their tour bus in 2017 and are a super down to earth band. Love you Nothing More!❤️🤘

Sorry to hear, I hope it will end up okay!
This is quite possibly the best shit I’ve ever heard in my 30 years of headbanging. Blown away
I've listened to rock, alternative and pop punk for many years, but could never quite get into metal. It always felt too angry to me and I couldn't really comprehend the emotion behind it all or the artistry behind it. Over the past few years though (pretty much since the lockdowns started and I was left alone with my thoughts and feelings for a bit), my regular old music didn't really do what it used to do for me. I oscillated constantly between total numbness and extreme anger at the world and life in general. I never felt joy anymore. It reached a fever pitch after I lost 3 family members within the span of 6 months. At that point, I wanted nothing more than to get the anger OUT and not feel so damn alone all the time. I'd always been a very shy kid and feared thinking in this manner meant I was bad and that it was my moral obligation to just put on a brave face and keep going.
That's where metal came into the picture. I don't remember when exactly it happened or what song it was, but a metal song was recommended to me on TH-cam and I listened, really to the genre for the first time. Something about the music video really resonated with me, so I gave the music itself a chance too. I ended up going down a rabbit hole of suggested songs and saved a few to a playlist. I was initially still a little apprehensive about it, but I kept coming back to it, because it was the only music that resonated with me at all anymore. Metal served as an outlet for all these negative feelings and encouraged me to pay more attention to my mental health. Exploring the metal community, I found myself relating to these other people a lot and at that point in my life, connection and a feeling of belonging was something I desperately needed. Listening to metal, I was able to feel again, if just for short whiles at a time.
I started listening to more and more metal and enjoying it immensely. I can say that today, I'm a certified metalhead who can listen to just about anything. My mental health is in a much better spot and I've started attending therapy, which has been extremely beneficial to me. I also started taking better care of my physical health, getting into weightlifting (sound tracked by my metal playlist, of course). I've made a bunch of metalhead friends and a few of us are considering picking up some instruments and forming a band. I've retained my core self that I've always been (which I'm incredibly grateful for), but I've improved my life in so many other ways.
I credit a large part of this change in lifestyle, perspective and emotional maturity to metal, along with the things metal led me to (therapy, fitness, community). I always think back to the original few bands that acted as my gateway to this world and appreciate them so much. If I hadn't found their music then, I do not know whether I would still be here today to type this message. Slipknot, iwrestledabearonce, Spiritbox, SeeYouSpaceCowboy..., While She Sleeps, Knocked Loose, Architects, Bring Me The Horizon, Sleep Token, Wage War and Bad Omens all hold a very special place in my heart and I always get a smile on my face when one of their songs come up.
Now, to the reason for this very longwinded comment: Two bands that featured prominently in my playlist that I haven't mentioned yet were Nothing More and I Prevail. This collaboration is brilliant. I think this has genuine potential for metal song of the year. It carries special significance to me though, because it's the product of one of my favourite bands and a member of my other favourite band. You guys have me sitting here grinning like an idiot. I'm so incredibly happy to be listening to this and feel incredibly fortunate to be alive to hear this. Thank you for this song! I love it so much and couldn't have asked for a better surprise to come across my feed 3 days ago. I've had this on repeat since launch. you guys likely get thousands of comments stating similar things, but please know that you guys make a major impact in peoples' lives and we are grateful for that. Rock on, fellas \m/>.
Thanks for sharing. So awesome for hear how the music and the genre connected with you in such a way, and at such a time in your life. I echo many of the same feelings in my own life and my connection to heavy music. Much love 🤘🏻

@@bondvabond messages like this are the reasons why i still always check the comments here on TH-cam. It became therapeutic and necessary for my mental health during the pandemic since I live in the sticks of rural Idaho and my circle of people had become almost non existent (coincidentally, at the time, I was experiencing the loss of many people in my life; friends...family...and the woman I thought was for me and the mother of my child...) So thank you for this...your introspection and personal growth is inspiring and helpful on so many levels. It gives me reassurance and motivates me, helps me to connect and relate to my own struggles and progression. Im glad you found what you needed to allow your perspective to evolve and help balance the emotions you experienced. The metal rabbit hole is a bittersweet process, but im genuinely grateful it exists and gives people like us an opportunity to connect and utilize that outlet it can provide.
