You probably need to service it 1-2 times a year. but when you hear the creaking sound or loud clicking sound when you pedaling especially uphill, you really need to do it.
Hello, i have trouble with this hub. I buy a new one, but slince mode does not work, it sounds like any ratchet hub. A open it, and see a lot of gease in the freehub body at all the part's! I cleaned all of them. And nothing happenes, the silence mode - not working. May be you know what i need to do? ))

Nice! I had a silent hub once... than the spring exploded, now the new hub is the loudest I ever had, so need some hack to make it shut up :D

i do it, evrything like on movie, nothing help all time no silence only loudcracking
...it appears that this is the older "scylence" xt hub. All the newly released xt hubs I have seen have the traditional ratchet sound...
