Dear Mash, this was in fact not the Olympic Games. It was the IAAF World Championships in Athletics. But even if it was the Olympics, an opening ceremony is not supposed to be a study / summary in anthropology. The Olympic Games opening is a ceremony which is supposed to characterize the people (nation) that hosts the game. You know, the beauty of our planet is its' many colours and by colours I mean its' differences. If we keep mixing everything because we think it's more... "politically correct" then we are going to get an 18% GREY as the old printers used to describe it. And certainly I don't think what we want is an all grey world!

But, when showing images, they should also show black and asian athletes, as this is the Modern Olympic Games.
