Our meal plan is:
Wednesday: Pesto w/ Spaghetti, Dinner: Lasagna, Salad, & Sourdough Bread
Thursday: Charcuterie Board, Dinner: Quiche, Salad & Bread
Friday: Pizza Bread, Dinner: BBQ Chicken, Rainbow Pasta & Green Beans
Saturday: Sandwiches, Chips, Grapes & Juice, Dinner: Burritos
Sunday: Zuppa Toscana & Salad, Dinner: Nachos
Monday: Tuna Sandwiches, Dinner: Garbanzo Bean & Leek Soup + Bread
Tuesday: Burritos, Dinner: Costco Food: Pizza, Rotisserie Chicken & Ceasar Salad
We shop on Tuesday at the Costco in Harlem (the north eastern part of Manhattan) and on Wednesday at the Trader Joe's on the Upper West Side. We also shop at a local Harlem grocery store called Lincoln Market.
We bring Anna (11), Chloe (9), Enoch (7), Melody (5), Moses (2), and Neta (3 months).

Now that you guys are renting the downstairs as well it might be a beneficial move for Mark to go to Costco on his own one day and just stock up on bulk items like the paper towels, toilet paper and paper plates so it's not something you have to buy for quite a while.

We have a Costco & Bj wholesale here in Queens New york.. Bj wholesale is like Costco yearly membership..At Bj wholesale store they have coupons books at the customer service area, plus you can use coupons from Sunday paper. I used coupons for 1 month I saved over $200 dollars, I was happy.
@KentuckyNaNasHeart I love couponing in other stores too CVS ,DG ,Dollar Tree, etc. And if I have extra coupons I give them to other customers in the store.
Pasta sauce is an excellent substitute for pizza sauce. As a matter of fact I don't buy pizza sauce anymore as I always have some type of pasta sauce on hand.
I bought a huge bag of raw cashews from Costco - and tossed them in some curry powder salt and pepper and a bit of maple sugar (can use just a bit of brown sugar) - slow baked them in the oven - and oh my goodness they are so good. So much cheaper too.
I pray that you have a great week. Plus for Elijah to get into the Juilliard program, if it’s God’s will for him. I have a sneaky feeling that he WILL get in.

Me too. Found out the hard way they don’t mix well with Yoo-hoo chocolate drink. My son got so sick on that combination and he can’t look at either one anymore He’s 48.

I think a day in the life for your family would be interesting. Like: 1)what chores everyone does, 2) what the children play through the day and who they prefer to play with. 3) How do the children do their education. 4) How are you incorporating the new basement area into your routine. Also, maybe too personal but it would be interesting to know what monthly living expenses your large family has and how you budget that….including the price of music lessons/education.

I shouldn't be shocked since it's youtube. MCT Is good for brain health. It’s good for lots of things, but brain health is the one that stands out to me. 😊Aldi has really good maple leaf cookies, at a very good price!

My Dad used MCT oil when he was losing weight and no tolerating other fats due to gut issues. We also used MCT back in the day for premie babies who were struggling with weight gain. Generally easier on the gut. It was really expensive when my Dad used it in the 70's. My Mom attempted to cook with it! It really foams up when heating. Some fun times!!
My triplet sons were given MCT oil in the NICU to help gain weight.

I was wondering if you would get more milk as I noticed the fridge downstairs when you did the tour. It's frustrating when you have to pick through the fruit and vegetables. I always look at what I get closely. The supermarket I go to here in New Zealand you can buy some fruit unpackaged which makes it easier.
I recommend sparking water instead of soda for the kid. They taste just as good without the added sugar

My daughter has an airup bottle, water with flavor by scent. She doesn't like fizzy drinks and does want other tastes sometimes
Not just the added sugar all the chemicals in there as well. It's a very terrible habit to start especially at such a young age
@KentuckyNaNasHeart indeed they eat mostly healthy and I will not take that away from them. I understand that a treat is absolutely necessary as part of a well-balanced lifestyle but from what I see they get lots of sweets and treats from gummy bears to cookies and chips etc. The problem with soft drinks regular or Diet is that they are filled with chemical engineered ingredients mind you, that unfortunately can be said for all processed foods. There's absolutely zero nutrition and zero benefit to these soft drinks. I will ask anybody the following question. What a parent take a water glass and fill it with 6 teaspoons of sugar and ask the child to drink that? The answer is always no and yet they will turn around and do exactly that when they give them a soft drink. Let's not even mention the damage it does to teeth so unfortunately I will never stand by the soft drink consumption regardless of how little it is.

Yes perm is on March 23rd and Passover is from April 22nd to April 30th. Passover is always a week or so before our Greek Orthodox Easter.

I went to Trader Joe’s and spent way too much but I had to get all the nuts and protein granola and treats for my kids. Their lemon cookies are amazing.

I know you were looking for a ham for Easter and they have hams at Aldi. I think you said there was one close to Costco. Might be more affordable than wegmans. I live in Columbus Ohio and we have really nice aldi.

Yes! Marc should get off of work at 4 but he usually finds he has to stay extra. So we go when he’s done with work. I don’t think I could drive in NYC myself.

Yes! They definitely share all the snacks so it helps the little kids not get so much sugar! I’m glad for the sharing… otherwise it would be too much.

Have y’all thought about trying to make some veggie chips like out of carrots, white potatoes, sweet potatoes, radishes, zucchini, all you do is you cut them very very thin put salt pepper garlic on it if you want put it in the oven and keep turning them over every 15 minutes until their is crispy as if you want them to I’ve seen it on TH-cam and Instagram and I think I’m gonna try it. yes isn’t that sad we live in America supposedly the richest country in the world yet we have the worst ingredients in our food. A lot of ingredients that are not food. Other countries are not allowed to have in their country. They ban it they don’t want nothing to do with our food even if it’s free, they don’t want our food that is how bad are food is!😢 mark is a great shopper. He knows how to look for produce. Make sure you keep an eye on your fridge downstairs. Hasn’t wanted to make sure that things are cold daily so you don’t lose your stuff. The first collagen that you said you normally use is the healthiest. Do you need to check the ingredients if it has Kerrigan in it or sorbitol, fake sugars, fillers natural flavors dies. It is not the best one to get even if it’s on sale. Coconut oil is actually better than MCT oil when you break it all down comparing everything and it’s the least expensive. I have a suggestion you might want to do some research on some natural hair products for your daughters as far as soap, shampoos and conditioners that do not have chemicals in it there’s a lot of stuff they’re sticking in our personal care products to make us sick! You have such a beautiful family!❤ I use coconut oil for a moisturizer for my face, my neck, my arms, and my legs, my feet and I use it for my teeth as well

I was happy you had a better selection at TRADER JOE'S. Shopping at different times or days is a nice change. Costco being smaller is hard to notice by watching the video. It does make a difference in the choices though. Always looking for your videos, so as not to miss one!

Ultra white powder it is the best u buy it on line u don’t need. Bleach or any thing else when u use it. U use warm water with it u should try get it u don’t need a mielie machine to buy it

I so enjoy your videos what can I make a suggestion I know the inspired groceries by the week and stuff have you ever thought of buying an upright chest to put between the two back doors where you can do two weeks at a time or still go shopping but I figured with that big of a family that you had and upright chest freezer would be really awesome in between the two back but it's just a suggestion enjoy you guys I'll keep watching
