It kind of amazes me that people would question how much food and what kinds of food you get. I love your grocery hauls, gives me ideas on things I might like to try for my family. People judge everything. My in-laws judge me so bad. Food in the fridge and freezer cupboards pantry stock up.
Because they only going shopping once a week.

Your Aldi bill was so so reasonable, if I could that word and connect it to food. Friendly Farms Dairy I find I like. Daisy is my favorite of course. I was out of or really low on my tomatoes, beans, vegetables and fruit pantry staples also, and stocked up again this week. Loved the video.

We used to buy the pre-made ice cream cones (called "cornetto" in Belgium), the sandwich ice-cream, the chocolate lolly-pops and... no more. We last year got some cones, a couple L of plain vanilla ice-cream and some cans of whipped cream. Nothing, and I do mean: nothing, beats a home-made cone; my goodness. We enjoyed that so much more! Doing it again this year, and even enjoyed some during winter months! Yes we did!
Hi Amy, I do my lemonade with crystal light gallon size packets. Squeeze a real lemon into it. It tastes like regular lemonade but no sugar. I think they have it in the great value too. Some stuff does not pay to make homemade sometimes buying it from the store is cheaper.

Just a heads up we always do corn chips with chili by the cheap ones from Walmart because the ones from Aldi's go bad quickly even unopened. We love all these peanut butter

You could get a few thermal bags to keep dairy and meat in while you go from store to store here in Florida, to help keep them from getting too warm. 😊 You did so good with two carts for $300! I’m just starting to shop at Aldi and the prices amaze me with how good they are. I’m so used to shopping at Publix where the prices are 3X what Aldi charges. I hope they make the big Winn Dixie near me into an Aldi. Thanks for sharing your shopping with us!

My husband loves cream soda to make his flats me and my kids love making flats with orange soda. People from New York use orange soda and cream soda to make flats.
Milo's lemonade in the gallon jug, if your walmart has it, is about $4.20 for 128 oz.. I make my own hasbrowns when needed

Now I *finally* know what "voetselder" (Dutch for the "base" of big chunks of celery) is called in English. It's celery hearts! I looked all over Google translate and others sites and could not find a decent translation for it. Yay!

Amy hope you and your family are having a wonderful weekend. You should check out any local bread stores, they actually aren't bad at all on prices and they sell more than bread. Also i find that sams club is the best for sodas especially when it comes to canned soda i mean i believe a 36 ct. For $15-$16 its not bad. 😊..

You shop like I learned to do in 2020. I slowly built up my pantry to keepat least a case of everything we eat. So now once a month I shop to replace what I used the previous month. I don't buy anything my family won't eat.
Amy, are you stretching your pork sausage by mixing it with ground turkey? Because if you are that’s completely genius and I’m about to try it. ( we used to make our own sausage so I know what spices to add ) but that would help make it less greasy and that’s something definitely to try.

The price comparison between Aldi and wm are so close where i am too. It's frustrating because you'd think Aldi would be alot cheaper but they aren't anymore. Sad. 😢
i know white bread was 30cents a loaf way back when they 1st came it was unbeleble how cheap aldis were at first

I love Aldi's cottage cheese sometime I go there they don't have it.

I have worked in both delis (Publix for 2 years and Winn-Dixie for 3 years) and bakeries (Publix and Winn-Dixies). My favorite sandwich is still rare roast beef with horseradish sauce, a load of fresh cut onions and provolone cheese on marble rye-sooo yummy!. We have no Aldi or Sam's where I am now so I have to settle for Winn-Co, Fred Myers, Walmart, Safeway and URM. I do have a Costco membership which is very helpful. Its so fun to watch you shop. Im wondering , when you are shopping and NOT recording do you still find yourself talking to yourself like you are recording?

Good morning. Publix was my favorite store, but I tended to get their sale items only and like you did some Aldi rest at Sams. If you are getting your romaine at Sams, be sure to look on the back side of the bag, my delivery and curbside pick up were both rotten this month. Have a terrific Thursday and I will see ya tomorrow

Amy there's a Winn-Dixie in palmetto bayou and they will have every flavor of soda you could think of and they might have your daily cheese Winn-Dixie also sells the best off-brand soda it's called check soda they also have really good meat sales and I'm more of a public shopper but I'm telling you those are particular items are off the chain at Winn-Dixie the meat sales the soda
This is good to know.. someone had told my husband cheap on the meat but i had watched the grocery lady and she was sharing the prices of regular items and it seemed like a lot .I'll have to go look for just those things. Thank you

Hi Amy, it made me cry when you picked up cabbage for 75c!!! Today I went shopping and got the cheapest veg I could find, abd my cabbage was $3.99NZD !!!!!
I have a feeling the cabbage was .75 cent per pound. ALDI lisyed prices for produce sometimes need a second look.

Aldi has frozen ground turkey in their freezer section. I get it to mix with hamburger. It's cheaper and stretches my burger

You may want to make a price notebook for the 3 stores you normally shop at. That way in case the wi-fi isn't working in the stores, you can still price compare your most shopped items.

We are in PCB, and we have a store called grocery outlet. I can usually get 12 pk of about any kind of soda I want there for less than $5. Do you have grocery outlets where you are? I've also noticed that their fresh meat is very affordable. However, they don't have many organic options. ❤

Sams club usually has the drumettes ( sm chic wings), that cook a lot faster. You may have to ask for them. There are usually in frozen section. Can't wait to see all the goodies we make this month.

they do have alarger peanut butter in aldis i was watching instagram and they revealed what famous brands majke aldis productsbut i neveer really liked thier icecream s just the sugar nutty cones my mom and i shopped at aldis for 15years or morei really liked aldis creamof wheat copared to that expensive one w/the steaming bowl on it andthey took the waiter of the box because of rascists compared to aunt jemima pancake mix
the breadand butter pickles i think are mushy in the middle aldis brand and the spices made by mccormick they did have bigger jars of garlic powder but not now

How do you use all of the cabbage???
If you have a cool, dry place at home cabbage stays fresh for quite a while, so I guess there will be a few coleslaw incidents at her dinner table in the next two weeks.
I'd make cabbage stew, too, but I don't know if that isn't too heavy for Florida climate.

Ive been asked too when shopping wow how many are you feeding ???... while it's none of their business i just simply reply we're a big family and i leave it at that. I don't like to shop weekly and I try to stock as much as possible at once except milk n fresh veggies n fruits i only have one fridge
I always count the liter price or KG price for food items, because that's how to easily compare the amount for the price, but unfortunately (and they should make it obligatory), not every store puts that price on their label, so you are in there with a darn calculator making an absolute fool of yourself. LOL ;) Those who know, know. :p

Hi, Amy. Love your channel. I also use margarine for most of my baking because all of my mom’s and grandmother’s recipes used margarine. I tried butter in all the recipes but all I heard was it doesn’t taste the same, so back to margarine for those family recipes. Blessings to you all.
