I've driven an e60 M5 with Manual and to be honest, I was disappointed. I thought that it would feel sporty, but it's just a luxury sedan, the shifter throw is just bad, it's like you are driving a truck and the speed was just not there

@@AGMC.AGENCY it's a luxury sedan, it's more of an autobahn cruiser, rather than a sportscar. The manual shifter was horrible, it felt like a peugeout shifter with huge, sloppy shifts. The car accelerates between 6-8k rpm, below that it just doesn't move at all.

I had not noticed the temperature on the panel when I saw the marchettino turning on the M5 and soon after accelerating I confess that I almost had a heart attack, then I reviewed the video and checked that the engine temperature was warm and at the right temperature

avevo dimenticato la funzione di proiettamento della strumentazione (o almeno parte della) sul parabrezza a livello del volante cosi da non distogliere troppo l’occhio dalla strada! Lo si nota bene nell’ultimo minuto in autostrada

As much as I love the M5 E60, I would say the M3 E92. The M3 is lighter and more agile and I love the torque at low revs, something that lacks on the V10 of the E60

Forse perché sono abituato alle super macchine che spesso provi, ma, almeno dal video, la trovo lenta e mi da' proprio la sensazione di pesantezza.
Inoltre quel tipo di motore si meriterebbe uno scarico decisamente più aperto per i miei gusti :)

"There are no bad e60's; only bad e60 drivers". What the heck are you doing revving a cold s85 like that? It's that kind of negligence that is responsible for blown rod bearings and a bad reputation for the engine. You have to let s85's warm up until the variable redline goes to 8200. If you need to drive it before full warm up, you should be short shifting until the redline opens fully to 8200.

La prima cosa che farei è un bel wrapping del legno interno carbon style. Poi cambierei l infotainment di serie con la versione android e come per magia ringiovanirebbe di 5 anni. È una super macchina peccato che non sia adatta al nostro Paese che con le tristi normative manda al macello tutta una serie di auto che per gli appassionati potrebbero essere un sogno raggiungibile.
