    Personally I want to say I enjoyed how natural Michael seemed when pitching the business idea and the people are still believing that fish and wsb are just actually terms for the programs he is pitching. The people's slow realization that he is talking about an actual fish and him having the balls to pitch it is out of this world LMFAO.

      The sad thing is that they didn't recognize how great this could be. It pitches a real financially valid idea: that picking stocks randomly and staying as diverse as possible actually works. Only way to improve the algo would probably be to make sure that it doesn't buy too many repeat stocks.

    • @MaxLennon
      @MaxLennon 2 ปีที่แล้ว +75

      @@dogchaser520 It "works" in the sense that you're owning mainly the market risk in your portfolio by not having any particular preference for a certain type of stock. So if the market does well, so do you. Portfolio managers with skill can outperform that type of strategy by choosing what types of risks they want to own (large vs. small companies, ones that have been trending down vs. upward, growth vs. value companies, etc.)

    • @dogchaser520
      @dogchaser520 2 ปีที่แล้ว +43

      @@MaxLennon Definitely. But is it possible that random buying can outperform when you include portfolio manager's fees? This could be a very interesting way to invest. No fish required.

    Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?

    • @AmithKaury
      @AmithKaury 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Just ''buy the dip'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder.

      The truth is that this is really not as difficult as many people presume it to be. It requires a certain level of diligence, no doubt, which is something ordinary investors lack, and so a financial advisor often comes in very handy. My friend just pulled in more than $84k last month alone from his investment with his advisor. That is how people are able to make such huge profits in the market

    Thanks Mate, the sad truth is that no one has a clue, we all react to what happens as it happens and try to analyse it but can’t predict an iota of what is going to unfold in the markets… content creators are like amplifiers, when times are good they affirm it and try to tell you why it’s good and that it’s looking bullish but then all of a sudden the market turns bearish and everyone affirms it again and try to analyse why… it’s so sad that many are so powerless and it's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 13Bitcoin in the space of a few months... Honestly i wonder if he made it real thing for people to invest in and he was sued for it but used that exact line as a disclaimer and put the analysts name (frederik - species: fish) somewhere in the fineprint, would the suit against him make it? Probably yeah but i think it would be hilarious if people lost money to a fish, tried to get it back in court and failed because there weren’t any false promises made since movement was literally being tracked.

      They weren't ready to face the truth about tech and AI. It's a known thing in artificial intelligence that basically trying to predict any sort of open system (ie stock market) is almost completely impossible. That is; it is nearly impossible to predict the price of any given stock and any AI you make will most likely not beat literally guessing "today will be the same as yesterday was."
