On the situation on Kemmel straight. If you have straight line speed deficit against other car, go defensive before his move to take the first turn on the inside. Good driving. Always good to see clean races.
Are you driving the race from in car view and then editing the video recording with all the various view changes? Would think it very hard to drive smooth and do all the view changes that we see in the videos?

+viperconcept I think your driving is very on point and controlled!! I really like seeing somebody drive like that, but maybe you could take a little more risk with braking later (especially if you have more downforce ;) ) and leaving less space when exiting the corner. It's almost unbelieveable how clean you both were racing in the first race. In GT3 Online Races you'd either get pushed out while trying to overtake someone or you'd spin because they hit you in the rear

Because with these visuals I can't see my opponents at my sides and mirrors are useless because of the "dead angle". I'm saving for the Playstation VR: In that way I'll be able to do battles from the cockpit view ^^
why didn't you defend comming out of eau rouge (not straight away but comming up to the chicane) or at least move towards the middle of the track? that would have made it more difficult to try and overtake from behind
you seem to be a damned good driver, but you appear to struggle nailing the starts if you ask me. question, do you run a fairly open diff on throttle? I found running about 75% lock gives me a good amount of traction without sacrificing handling stability
Nah, I don't think it's a question of throttle management. It's more a question of reflexes. :) Usually I use a low acceleration lock, between 10% and 35%. I prefer understeering cars.
I prefer having a little more slip and oversteer with a higher lock. 75% accel and 50% decel. while my lap times arent as fast as they could be, i just need more practice i guess, i always manage to pull a good start. If I qualify well I find myself right the way up in a leader battle in the first corner or two. problem is maintaining that leader battle position isn't something i excel at.

This video perfectly sums up why I avoid racing Supercars in online games. Almost without fail, in every game, young, inexperienced drivers gravitate towards the Ferrari/Lamborghini/McLaren/whatever name R* made for the car, and invariably do terribly. They play bumper cars with everyone, and make each race unplayable.

theREALtonalddrump. Nope, you can't really regulate a controller like a wheel, the controller it's too brute with the steering; you'll not be the best, but with effort, you can be very good, otherwise, if you have the money, buy a steering wheel, you'll be very happy.
It's the force generated by the spoilers/wings of the car which squash the car to the ground: in that way the car has more grip (good for the corners) but less top speed (bad for the straight line).

you just need practice, remember this a game not real life, you can still be as good as someone on a wheel. I think some top players use pad aswell
