iRacing is sometimes a bit too autistic with their rules imo. Good thing that they ban trolls and such but even real F1 drivers are given more leeway with mistakes that virtual drivers in iRacing.
Gary Grandy so, I guess real F1 drivers and others are autistic then cause they play that game and help game devs make it as close to RL as possible. i.e. Rubens Barrichello and his son play it. So, I guess that makes them autistic.

A car with a 47/53 weight split, which I reckon the Lotus has, isn't undrivable, it has weight biased towards the rear but can still have grip. The GT40 has even more weight towards the back because of it's larger engine, probably a 43/57 which has less grip weight towards the front and more towards the back which encourages more gravity force to make the car slide.
Nice fight, a pleasure to watch!! if only i would find players like you! 9/10 races im in i loose 1st place multiple times because of "pit manuevers" raming me on the inside of corners, or using me as a "wall" so they wont go off the track! yes because most players never heard about brakes and/or racing lines ;(

I like seeing that in all motorsports, esports or real sports. I totally see that the Lotus got in your head. he was baiting you in the corners, then that outside pass, MAN! unreal. he knew if he kept you at least 50meters behind the penultimate corner he might have beat you to the line. but your Brute Force motor was playing out in his head every time you passed on the straights. in hindsight you showed your cards too early. as you were chasing the Dragon, that 1/1000 moment of judgement on that dogleg, man! it was going to be a photo finish for sure. I need a wheel on my ps4. I don't online race because i'm not the cleanest on a controller.
you were using the steering wheel and the external camera? that's just the replay or you play like that? (external camera)

Davi Henrique yeee people use this camera even with wheel sometimes.. I personally use hood cam only. Not a fan of cockpit camera. But in some games i can use it

great race! It doesn't look like you are using a wheel as when you corner you stab at the throttle and your steering doesn't seem very smooth. Also changing down through the gears while braking your car is rev matching? Still an epic battle, loved watching this
Well, you can't win 'em all, but it was a beautiful race :-) Question: when you lost the rear parts, aerodynamic changed as well ? I've already read of weight, ok,but the mere weight could be irrelevant compared to the car mass. (there was the spare wheel, lol) but the pure handling ? aerodynamic should change a lot in that case, is'nt it ?
It depends from the damage settings before the race between: none, visual only, speed impact, full damages. In this lobby the damages were on visual only (I was joking). In this game when you put full damages, losing car pieces doesn't affect the car weight, but it affects the downforce, the suspension system, the steering precision and the top speed. Personally I've no problems putting full damages, but the problem in PCars community is: generally people don't want full damages (or all assists off) otherwise they don't want to join the lobby or they rage quit immediately after a crash. That's pretty sad IMO... :-/
Well, I don't think the Driving Force GT is PS4 compatible. Btw your skills don't depend from the wheel: the price/model determines just the driving sensations, not your response / reaction-time ;)
Wouldn't it be a legit strategy to lose half the body at the start of the race? Better rear brakes vent, better times, less fuel consumption, less downforce. Leaving the jokes aside, looks like running low downforce could be a legit strategy on this track
Great race anyways. I would love to see you and the Lotus battle all the way to the finish, but thing like that happens all the time. . . . In real life you and the blue guy would probably suffer grave injuries btw.

try iRacing then. No ramming there and if there is one then they get kicked and banned from racing fast.

The Lotus hasn´t any downforce either.
It´s just much lighter and therefore faster in corners.

- Too much throttle exiting from corners
- rear downforce is too low
- Rear anti-roll bar is too weak.
BTW try to take corners with a higher gear.
