I've now watched most of your films, and to be honest with your editing and production talent combined with your r passion for past northern heritage, bit of spit and polish and you could quite easily have a tv concept! ( Fred did it) do it , the stone roses meets kingdom Brunel. Loving it

I used to work in there when it was gus. I was in mill 1, worked on ground floor and 2nd floor I think it was. I wasnt there too long but I really enjoyed it. A proper bunch of characters. We handled the heavy goods returns.

This is one of the best Urban Explore videos I've ever seen. Really respectful and the old pictures spliced in to add context were a lovely touch. I lived on Crescent Road facing the beehive some years ago, back when it was part of the Great Universal Group. Loved this video and will definitely be watching more. Well done, chaps.

Thanks mate for another great vlog, I know that it was Littlewoods for many years but part of it was something to do with Royal Mail but I may be wrong, the huge tank was the header tank for the sprinkler system and when you first went in was the pumping system for the sprinklers which looked in pretty good nick and relatively modern for that size of building. All the best Stevie

Worked in that Mill for a few years but left 18 years ago. Seeing it again brought back memories. Sad to see it like that as I remember how it was spotlessly clean and always warm and dry, a great environment to me after working outside in all weathers for years. I hear it's all gone now, typical that town planners show little respect for heritage. Nice job with the video fella.

CHERRY ON THE CAKE 👍 👍 👍 The only abandoned mills you get to see now mostly in are in Lancashire, oldham, Scotland, Coventry (Cash's Cotton) foundaries all disused, so this is absoloutely stuff of PURE GOLD. Love that tank, probably built by Titanic ship builders and I think the chimneys might be Jute that spat out chemicals but WOW what a Vlog - feel guilty not yet joining and donating but I will once my pay comes in as these expeditions are priceless!

There was a tunnel running from the bosses house to the mill. His house was at the end of the street more or less on the corner with green Lane. The tunnel ran underground all the way to his office they are knocking Newbury Mill down in Farnworth at the moment.
