    The cd009 with the 4.27 is so much fun BUT 1st gear is basically unusable and gas mileage is shit. Eventually when i go na-t im swapping to a 3.26

      That's a great plan. I can't imagine dailying a 4.27 on the highway. I would feel bad for the car haha

      Mine's a 99 so I believe it grabs signal from the wheel speed sensors.

    I've not been able to find my SC. The price has gotten up while the the Quality haven't

    holy shit i can't imagine how awful the CD009 was with a 4.27, even with the 3.92 in the 400 it sucks in first gear. oh nevermind, you haven't swapped it yet lol.

    Nice video Jon! I gotta know what impact that is, for dewalt since im in their system, also for the headlights, you can do a mod to change the projector glass and that will up your lighting to modern standards and you can see better. I did a projector retro fit and its just as good as the newer cars on the roads with HIDs

    • @JonathanMai
      @JonathanMai  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did not know about the projector mod to help, thanks for letting me know. I literally could not see at night LOL.

      @@JonathanMai I know how that was too man, it's terrible. I too ran led's for a year, but it just wasn't enough. I eventually went and Got the Morimoto D2S Mini, with HID's and its night and day differences. For the impact gun, the Model number should be on the side, if you can send that please. Also, here's a link for swapping the projector lens. th-cam.com/video/-Vxr4FdY23o/w-d-xo.html

    I'm thinking about doing this myself. How bad is the acceleration hampered? Id like to keep the 4 speed as mine is in great shape and I really need better highway cruising, but I dont want city driving to be unbearable.

    • @JonathanMai
      @JonathanMai  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's slower, but like are you really ripping through the streets with a 4 speed? The switch is noticeable but like, you kinda expect it.
