ഈ തേപ്പു എന്നത് ഒരു കലയാണെന്ന് എനിക്ക് മനസിലായത് 2015il ആണ്, പക്ഷെ അതിന്റെ പേരിൽ ഇന്ന് വരെ ഒരു തുള്ളി മദ്യമോ സിഗററ്റോ കൈ കൊണ്ട് തൊട്ടിട്ടില്ല* ( * തേപ്പിന്റെ പേരിൽ ). അന്ന് പട്ടി ഏറു കൊള്ളുമ്പോ കരയുന്ന പോലെ കരഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട് പക്ഷെ ഇപ്പോൾ അതൊക്കെ ഓർക്കുമ്പോൾ മരപ്പട്ടി രാത്രി കിടന്നു ഓരി ഇടുന്ന പോലെ ചിരിക്കാറുമുണ്ട് , പിന്നെ സിംഗിൾ ആയി ജീവിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഒരു സുഖവും. അതുകൊണ്ടു തേപ്പു കിട്ടുന്നവരൊക്കെ അപ്പോൾ കിടന്നു മോങ്ങാതെ എന്തെങ്കിലും കൃഷിയോ മറ്റോ ഒക്കെ സമയം കിട്ടുമ്പോൾ ചെയ്തു ആനന്ദിക്കുക ( പറ്റുമെങ്കിൽ പത്തു വാഴ തന്നെ വെക്കുക )

സത്യം പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ ഈ പെണ്‍കുട്ടി പറഞ്ഞ കഥ ഉള്ളതാണ്.. എന്റെ അനുഭവം പറയാം... എനിക്ക് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു 1 ആം ക്ലാസ് മുതല്‍ എന്റെ കൂടെ പഠിച്ച ഒരു boy. അവന്‍ 4th വരെ എന്റെ കുറെ ക്ലാസ്മേറ്റ്സ് ഇല്‍ ഒരാൾ മാത്രം ആയിരുന്നു... 5th ല്‍ ഞാൻ school മാറി... ന്റെ വീടും shift ചെയ്തു . ഞങ്ങൾ രണ്ടും ഒരു സ്കൂളിലേക്ക് ആണ് transfer ആയത്... മാത്രമല്ല ന്റെ വീടും ഇവന്റെ വീടിന്റെ അടുത്തേക്ക് ആണ് ഷിഫ്റ്റ് ആയതു. ക്ലാസ് ലെ ഏറ്റവും ചെറിയ കുട്ടികൾ ആയത് കൊണ്ട്‌ ഞങ്ങൾ രണ്ടും എന്നും front ബെഞ്ച് ലെ എപ്പോഴും ഒന്നിച്ച് ആണ് ഇരുന്നത്(ക്ലാസ് ലെ അലമ്പ് ഒഴിവാക്കാന്‍ ഉള്ള teachers ന്റെ psychological മൂവ് 😁.. പക്ഷേ ഞങ്ങടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ നടന്നില്ല). വീട് അടുത്ത് ആയ കൊണ്ട്‌ ഒന്നിച്ച് സ്കൂളില്‍ പോക്കും വരവും.. പറയണ്ടല്ലോ.. ആ ക്ലാസ് ലെ ഏറ്റവും ബെസ്റ്റ് friends ഞങ്ങൾ ആയിരുന്നു.. ഈ ഈനാംപേചിയും മരപട്ടിയും എന്നൊക്കെ പറയും പോലെ.. 7 ആം ക്ലാസ് വരെ ഞങ്ങൾ ഒരു ബെഞ്ച്‌ ല്‍ ഇരുന്ന് പഠിച്ചു(ഫ്രണ്ട് ഇല്‍ തന്നെ) 7th തീരാന്‍ ആയപ്പോഴാണ് എനിക്ക് ചെറിയ spark ഒക്കെ അടിക്കാന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയത്‌ (എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു). എന്തായാലും ഞാന്‍ അത് ആരോടും ഒന്നും പറഞ്ഞില്ല. ആദ്യം കേറി പ്രണയം പറയുന്ന പെണ്‍കുട്ടികള്‍ ഒക്കെ പോക്ക് കേസ് ആയിരിക്കും എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ്‌ പഠിപ്പിച്ച ഒരു സമൂഹത്തില്‍ ആയത് കൊണ്ടാവും അന്ന് ഞാൻ അത് പറയാതെ പോയത്‌... എന്തായാലും 8th ല്‍ high school ആയി.. പഴയ പോലെ ഒന്നിച്ച് ഒരു ബെഞ്ച് ഇല്‍ ഇരിക്കാൻ പറ്റിയില്ലെങ്കിലും(വല്യ കുട്ടികള്‍ ആയില്ലേ 😁😐) ഞങ്ങൾ കട്ടചങ്കുകള്‍ ആയി തുടർന്ന് പോയി.. (ഒപ്പം എന്റെ one sided love ഉം മൂത്ത് കൊണ്ട്‌ ഇരുന്നു.) 8th കഴിഞ്ഞ് വല്യഅവധി ഒക്കെ കഴിഞ്ഞ് തിരിച്ച് സ്കൂളിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ ആണ് ഞാൻ നല്ല പോലെ പൊക്കം വെച്ച കാര്യം എനിക്ക് മനസിലായത്.. അത് വരെ അവന്റെ കൂടെ അസംബ്ലിക്ക് എറ്റവും മുന്നില്‍ നിന്നതും രണ്ട് സൈഡ് ഇല്‍ ആണെങ്കിലും front ബെഞ്ച്‌ല്‍ തന്നെ ഇരുന്ന് ക്ലാസ്സ്ല്‍ ഇരുന്ന് അലമ്പ് കാണിച്ചതും ഒക്കെ നിന്നു... അസംബ്ലി ഇല്‍ എറ്റവും മുന്നില്‍ നിന്ന ഞാൻ അത്യാവശ്യം പുറകില്‍ ആയി.. ക്ലാസ്റൂമിൽ ഞാൻ backbench ലേക്ക് ചേക്കേറി... പക്ഷേ ഞങ്ങളില്‍ പൊക്കം വെച്ചത് എനിക്ക് മാത്രം ആയിരുന്നു.. അവന്‍ അപ്പോഴും front ബെഞ്ച് ഇലും അസംബ്ലിയുടെ മുന്നിലെ row ഇലും തന്നെ... 10 ആം ക്ലാസ് എത്തിയപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അവനെ കാണാന്‍ താഴോട്ട് നോക്കണ്ട അവസ്ഥ ആയിരുന്നു 😂 അങ്ങനെ അങ്ങനെ ആയിരിക്കും എന്റെ ആ ആദ്യ പ്രണയത്തിന്റെ അന്ത്യവും (കൃത്യം എപ്പോഴാണ്‌ ഈ പ്രേമം ഒക്കെ വരുന്നതും പോകുന്നതും എന്ന് ഒന്നും ആര്‍ക്കും അറിയില്ലല്ലോ). അങ്ങനെ എന്റെ മനസില്‍ മാത്രം മുളച്ച പ്രണയം അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ വേരോടെ ഉണങ്ങി പോയി... ഈ ഫിലിം കണ്ടപ്പോ ഞാൻ ആദ്യം ഓര്‍ത്തു ഈ പെണ്‍കുട്ടി എന്ത് മണ്ടത്തരം ആണ് കാട്ടിയത് എന്ന്.. തന്നെ ഇത്രയും മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്ന ഒരു boyfriend എല്ലാ പെണ്‍കുട്ടികള്‍ക്കും ഒരു സ്വപ്നം ആണ്... അങ്ങനെ ഒരു ചെക്കനെ ക്രൂരമായി തേച്ച ഒരുത്തി എന്ന തോന്നല്‍ എനിക്കും തോന്നിയത്‌ ആ.. അപ്പോഴാണ് എനിക്ക് എന്റെ കഥ പെട്ടന്ന് ഓര്‍മ വന്നത്... ആരോടും പറയാത്ത എന്റെ സ്വന്തം കഥ... ആദ്യം ആയിട്ട് ആണ് ഞാൻ ഇത് ഒരിടത്ത്‌ ഇതിനെ പറ്റി തുറന്ന് സംസാരിക്കുന്നത് 😁
P. S: ഞങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോഴും best friends തന്നെ ആണ് കേട്ടോ 😁 അവന്‍ ഇപ്പോഴും പഴയ പോലെ തന്നെ ചെറുതും 😁(also I'm 23 yrs old now.. 5, 8 വര്‍ഷം മുന്നത്തെ കഥ ആണ് ഈ പറഞ്ഞത്)

കറുപ്പ് എന്ന നിറത്തെ രണ്ടാംകിടയാക്കുന്നതിൽ നാമോരോരുത്തരും വഹിക്കുന്ന പങ്ക് ചെറുതല്ല.. അതിന്റെ ഉത്തമ ഉദാഹരണം കൂടിയാണ് കട്ടൻ കാപ്പി എന്ന ഈ ഷോർട്ട് ഫിലിം. ഇത്തരം നിസ്സാരമെന്ന് കരുതുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങൾ പല തവണ ആവർത്തിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ അത് മനുഷ്യരിൽ internalised ആയിത്തീരുകയും തീർച്ചയായും സംസ്കാരത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി മാറുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഉദാഹരണത്തിന് ഒരു കുഞ്ഞ് ജനിച്ച് അൽപ്പം ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ വീട്ടുകാർ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്ന ഒരു കാര്യം "കുട്ടി നിറം വച്ചോ" എന്നതാണ് അതായത് കുട്ടിയിൽ വെളുപ്പ് നിറത്തിന്റെ അംശം കൂടിയോ എന്ന്. ഈ പ്രയോഗം അഥവാ "നിറം വച്ചോ" എന്നത് വെറും വെളുപ്പ് എന്നതിനെ മാത്രം ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുള്ളതാണ്. ഇത്തരക്കാർ കറുപ്പ് എന്നതിനെ ഒരു നിറമായിട്ട് അംഗീകരിക്കാൻ പോലും തയ്യാറാകുന്നില്ല എന്ന് വേണം കരുതാൻ. "കട്ടൻ കാപ്പി" ഇത്തരം സങ്കൽപ്പങ്ങളെ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുകയാണ് ഇവിടെ ചെയ്യുന്നത്. സംവിധായകൻ അതിന് വേണ്ടി ചില സീനുകളും ഡയലോഗുകളും കുത്തിത്തിരുകിയത് ആരും കാണാതെ പോകരുത്..അതായത് ഇത്തരം "അപരവത്കരണങ്ങൾ" മുറിച്ചു മാറ്റാൻ കഴിയാത്ത വിധം നാം അറിയാതെ തന്നെ നമ്മുടെ സാമൂഹ്യ ജീവിതവുമായി ഇഴുകി ചേർന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്.
സാന്ദർഭികമായി ഒരു കാര്യം കൂടി പറയട്ടെ #Black lives matters എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് ഉയർന്നു വരുന്ന ഹാഷ് ടാഗുകൾ കറുത്തവരെ വീണ്ടും അരികുവൽക്കരിക്കുകയല്ലേ യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ ചെയ്യുന്നത്.. ഇതുവരെ കറുപ്പ്- വെളുപ്പ് എന്ന് വേർത്തിരിച്ച് കാണാത്തവർ ക്കിടയിൽ പോലും ഇത്തരം ഹാഷ് ടാഗുകൾ തീർച്ചയായും സ്വാധീനം ചെലുത്തുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇതൊരുതരം Negative assertion തന്നെയല്ലേ..."സ്ത്രീ അബലയല്ല" എന്ന് ആവർത്തിച്ച് പറയുമ്പോൾ "സ്ത്രീ ഇത്രയും കാലം അബലയായിരുന്നോ" എന്ന ചിന്ത ജനിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പോലെ ഉള്ള ഒന്ന്.. അത് മനുഷ്യരിൽ വളർത്തുന്നത് സ്ത്രീ അബലയായിരുന്നു എന്ന ചിന്തയെയാണ്.. അങ്ങനെ പുരുഷ മേധാവിത്വത്തിന് ഒരിക്കൽ കൂടി വളം വെച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നു.. ഇതേ അവസ്ഥ തന്നെയാണ്#blacklivesmatters പോലുള്ള ഹാഷ് ടാഗുകൾ ഉയർന്നു വരുമ്പോഴും സംഭവിക്കുന്നത്. അത് വെളുത്തവൻ്റെ സവർണ്ണ ബോധത്തെ ഉണർത്തുകയും കറുത്തവർ എന്ന ഒരു വിഭാഗം നമുക്ക് ചുറ്റും ഉണ്ട് എന്ന ബോധത്തെ വളർത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു..
ഈ വീഡിയോയും ആഷിഖുദ്ധീൻ എന്ന വ്യക്തിയുടെ കമന്റും കണ്ടപ്പോൾ എനിക്ക് മനസ്സിൽ വന്ന ചില ചിന്തകൾ പങ്കുവെച്ചു എന്ന് മാത്രം....

ശരീരത്തിൽ ഉള്ള മെലാനിൻ പിഗ്‌മെന്റിന്റെ കുറവാണു സ്കിന്നിന് വെളുത്ത നിറം നൽകുന്നത്. അപ്പൊൾ വെളുപ്പിന് കുറച്ചു കുറവുകൾ ഉണ്ടെന്നു പറയുന്നതും ഇന്നത്തെ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ തെറ്റാണ്. എന്തായാലും കട്ടൻ കാപ്പിയിലെ കറുപ്പല്ല ഇവിടെ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചത് മറിച്ചു ജോണിന്റെ ലൈഫിൽ പല തവണ അയാൾ പാൽ കാപ്പി ക്കു പകരം കട്ടൻ കാപ്പി കുടിച്ചു അഡ്ജസ്റ്റ് ആവുന്നുണ്ട്, അതുപോലെ ജോണിന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിലെക്കു രണ്ടാമതായി വന്ന കുട്ടിയെ അവൻ തനിക്കെപ്പോഴും കിട്ടുന്ന നല്ല കട്ടൻ കാപ്പി ആയി ഉപമിചെന്നെ ഉള്ളു.
അതിനാൽ പാൽ കാപ്പി മോശം എന്നും ഇല്ല. ജോണിന് നല്ലത് കട്ടൻ കാപ്പി തന്നെയാണ്. ലക്ഷ്മിയുടെ പോയിന്റിൽ ചിന്തിച്ചാൽ, ജോൺ അവളുടെ പാൽ കാപ്പി ആയിരിക്കാം, അവളെ കല്യാണം കഴിച്ച ആൾ കട്ടൻ കാപ്പിയും.ഓരോ കഥയ്ക്കും കഥാപാത്രത്തിനും അത് വളർന്നു വരുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിനനുസരിച്ചാണ് പരുവപ്പെടുന്നത്. കഥാപാത്രത്തിന്റെ വളർച്ചയിൽ വരുന്ന മാറ്റങ്ങൾ ആ കഥാപാത്രത്തിന്റെ ചിന്തകളെ സ്വാധീനിക്കാം. അത്തരം സ്വാധീനമാകാം ജോണിനെ കൊണ്ട് കട്ടൻകാപ്പി വെച്ച് അഡ്ജസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യിക്കാൻ പ്രയരിപ്പിച്ചത്
ശ്രേദ്ധിക്കേണ്ടേ കാര്യം ജോൺ ടീനയുടെ ഫോട്ടോസ് fb-യിൽ കാണുമ്പോൾ കുറച്ചു മോഡേൺ ആണെന്നാണ് പറയുന്നത് അല്ലാതെ കുറച്ചു 'കറത്തോട്ടാണെന്നോ വെളുത്തിട്ടാണെന്നോ' അല്ല.
ടീനയ്ക്കും ഒരു കാമുകൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ടീനയുടെ കട്ടൻ കാപ്പിയാണ് ജോൺ എന്നും നമുക്ക് കരുതാം... ലിംഗ/നിറ വെത്യാസം ഇല്ലാതെ ഇത് വ്യാഖ്യാനിക്കുന്നതാവും നല്ലത്.
Nb: ടീനയ്ക്കും ലക്ഷ്മിയ്ക്കും ഒരേ സ്കിൻ ടോൺ ആണെന്നാണ് ഇത് കളർ ചെയ്ത എന്റെ വിശ്വാസം.
