- TIME TO DEMOLISH PART OF OUR PHILIPPINES BEACH HOME! But just a small part that has served its time and purpose!
In this video, the guys start destroying our little shed. Literally, we destroy it! But of course, we keep the wood to recycle into something else. After a little bit of laughter and fun with the Filipino barkada, we head off for a birthday lunch at our Fish Vendor At Jean's house! It is always wonderful connecting with the community, and we really appreciate being invited for birthday's! Speaking of birthdays... so wonderful how people in the Philippines always like to give on their birthdays. Truly something worth emulating.

Yes you’re absolutely right Kyle. We always learning through the process no matter what we build or do things. The same with us, our place in Mabini need update especially some doors and other features of the house. Though the house is only 4 years old but because nobody living full time in the house, still need updates. We learned a lot about building and how much we appreciated the workers who build our home. It’s about time to go back and the same with you we’ll be doing updates and we can’t wait to see our home again. Vancouver Island is getting cold and we’re ready to go back in Tagnanan. I hope we bump each other somewhere either in Tagum, Mabini or Cateel before you leave Philippines for Vancouver Island. Ciao eh?

Maybe Animal wants to plant a vertical herb garden 🪴 😊since he has such green thumb🥰🌿🌱🍃plants like Origano, Rosemary, Thyme (German thyme is my favorite), Italian Sweet Basil, Thai Basil for Pha, Parsley, Chives, Lemon grass, Bay Leaf Tree, tomatoes, green onion. All these plants except for Bay leaf-can be planted in pots.

To varnish or not? I prefer wood stains and oils for outdoor wood because it is protected from the sun, salt and rain. Varnish whitens and crackles under the sun. But most important of all, sanding and rubbing should not be shortcut. Ana lang. Boy I love wood especially hardwood. Nice structures I've been watching being built since the beginning.
How i wish i have enough money to buy a small piece of land in Cateel and be your neighbor Sir Kulas... 😊
