I'm Chinese. I came to the U.S. in 2013 to pursue a better university education. After graduating, I got hired, stayed on an H1B work visa, working for an American company. Despite 6 years of hard work and dedication, working from 9:30am to 7:30PM. I'm still struggling to get my Employment Authorization Document (EAD) approved, which would allow me to work without needing sponsorship. What frustrates me is seeing some illegal immigrants, just walk across the border, and receive their EAD within just six months, while I, having followed every legal process, am stuck in limbo. I don't know what's more fair here. If I had the right to vote, I would vote for Trump.

As a Chinese, I came to this country legally 10 years ago, and I am an American now. This really makes me worried. It makes no sense illegal immigrants have more advantages and access to healthcare than the local people. On the other hand, I do see there are some misinformation those people provided about the politics within China and why would so many Chinese came here. I can give you guys some insights: China is/was different from North Korea. There was no barrier for Chinese people to leave China. And even now, as long as you are not a government worker, you are still free to leave China. China is not doing very good after covid. With lots of foreign companies leaving China, young people are loosing jobs and they are tied up with great housing debit. So, many people risk their life to come to American. It's not an easy route. They have to walk pass several countries! walk through rain forest! People can die in there. If they are spies, they have better ways to come. The good thing is, as far as I know, it is definitely not easy to get citizenship! The only way they can stay here is by applying political asylum where they have to prove they are endangered if they go back to China. the court can last for 5 years or so and they have to pay a lot for that. I guess that's another reason why American government like them. If they can prove that, then they can get green card! and then after 5 years, they can apply citizenship. BTW, many people end up not even getting green card, so they stayed here as illegal immigrants. The only reason they risk their life to come to America is because America let them. America is the only country who are welcoming illegal immigrants and let them stay as illegal so the country can have some cheap labors!!! This is a shady trick . It not only causes some jobs becoming so cheap that local workers cannot compete and it exacerbate the whole racism thing. I’m a usa citizen engaged to a Dutch citizen and we are trying to navigate obtaining legal permission to marry in the USA. There’s so many obstacles and so much paperwork it’s really upsetting to us that so many people go for loopholes and illegal immigration meanwhile we’re over here trying our damn hearts out to get this right legally and we’re probably a year or more out from being able to be together and even then we will still be treated like we have to prove our relationship is real for multiple years afterwards. This illegal immigration support and oversight is insane to me.
My friend’s wife is Canadian. She paid full tuition to get her medical degree here in the US but they went through complete hell for her to live here. She was a doctor, employed at a hospital, met my friend, they dated for two years, got engaged, applied for citizenship, got pregnant and they married before she was a citizen. He was threatened with prison for perpetuating some kind of immigration fraud. She was threatened with permanent deportation because they married early and didn’t tell the investigator. While pregnant, authorities made her leave her husband and job to sit in Canada while they decided. This is how we treat legal immigrants? Do they not want productive immigrants? I don’t get it.

I'm still struggling to get my Employment Authorization Document (EAD) approved, which would allow me to work without needing sponsorship.
What frustrates me is seeing some illegal immigrants, just walk across the border, and receive their EAD within just six months, while I, having followed every legal process, am stuck in limbo. I don't know what's more fair here. If I had the right to vote, I would vote for Trump.

She should seek professional legal advice, because if she records those conversations with LEOs that tell her they'll come take her firearms for defending her private property then she has legal standing for a Federal Civil Rights lawsuit. She'd get a bunch of money in the judgement, and the Judge would make a mandate enforcing that department to follow the law. The LEOs involved could end up without a job and a court order to make payments to her for damages. The Judge could even impose sanctions against that law enforcement agency. As a Chinese, I came to this country legally 10 years ago, and I am an American now. This really makes me worried. It makes no sense illegal immigrants have more advantages and access to healthcare than the local people. On the other hand, I do see there are some misinformation those people provided about the politics within China and why would so many Chinese came here. I can give you guys some insights: China is/was different from North Korea. There was no barrier for Chinese people to leave China. And even now, as long as you are not a government worker, you are still free to leave China. China is not doing very good after covid. With lots of foreign companies leaving China, young people are loosing jobs and they are tied up with great housing debit. So, many people risk their life to come to American. It's not an easy route. They have to walk pass several countries! walk through rain forest! People can die in there. If they are spies, they have better ways to come. The good thing is, as far as I know, it is definitely not easy to get citizenship! The only way they can stay here is by applying political asylum where they have to prove they are endangered if they go back to China. the court can last for 5 years or so and they have to pay a lot for that. I guess that's another reason why American government like them. If they can prove that, then they can get green card! and then after 5 years, they can apply citizenship. BTW, many people end up not even getting green card, so they stayed here as illegal immigrants. The only reason they risk their life to come to America is because America let them. America is the only country who are welcoming illegal immigrants and let them stay as illegal so the country can have some cheap labors!!! This is a shady trick . It not only causes some jobs becoming so cheap that local workers cannot compete and it exacerbate the whole racism thing. People are coming and expecting a lot of free living, which includes free medical, food, housing, cloths, shoes, transportation, bank cards that are refilled each month with money from the federal government as well as money and benefits from the state they go to! There are even apps that tell people how to come, which way from different countries, and stop overs where they are able to have food and place sleep. The UN and non profit groups that our government is giving money to, along with Soros Open Society, and other non profits are helping people get here. I’m sure you’ve seen that the majority of people are young men, who come without parents, or a wife and children! They come and leave their families where things are so terrible, they left, but thought nothing I guess of leaving their families behind! These young men come wearing bake brand cloths, shoes and have smart phones snd money, which is how many are coming by way of paying cartels or others who are getting paid $10,000 to $20,000 per person! There’s a lot of money happening with our open borders, sex trafficking women and children, as well as organ trafficking, where young healthy people end up being taken to work off what they owe for helping them get into the country. They can work while having one organ at a time taken. I’m sure you know all this, it’s crazy that our leaders know what all us going on and yet, continue to leave our borders wide open. The question is why? What are your thoughts?

I’m a usa citizen engaged to a Dutch citizen and we are trying to navigate obtaining legal permission to marry in the USA. There’s so many obstacles and so much paperwork it’s really upsetting to us that so many people go for loopholes and illegal immigration meanwhile we’re over here trying our damn hearts out to get this right legally and we’re probably a year or more out from being able to be together and even then we will still be treated like we have to prove our relationship is real for multiple years afterwards. This illegal immigration support and oversight is insane to me.
My brother and his girlfriend from Peru had same problem, she was treated like sh#t, I told her she should just walk over the border.
My friend’s wife is Canadian. She paid full tuition to get her medical degree here in the US but they went through complete hell for her to live here. She was a doctor, employed at a hospital, met my friend, they dated for two years, got engaged, applied for citizenship, got pregnant and they married before she was a citizen. He was threatened with prison for perpetuating some kind of immigration fraud. She was threatened with permanent deportation because they married early and didn’t tell the investigator. While pregnant, authorities made her leave her husband and job to sit in Canada while they decided. This is how we treat legal immigrants? Do they not want productive immigrants? I don’t get it.
