Our Airport will have a space for a Trolley or people mover but that depends on what the planners want. SANDAG might decide to abandon the NAVWAR project if it does not move to their liking and go with a more austere plan at Santa Fe Depot.
@@LifeReviewerSinceBirthnot all cities in the world have airport connections. In fact if you look at developed economies the US is definitely in the top when it comes to rail connections between airports and downtowns. AtL, NYC, Newark, DC, SFO, Denver, DFW, Seattle, LAX(soon), Portland, Chicago, Miami and some more all have airport connections and these are major hubs. San Diego isn’t as big as these so it will take some time to justify building that connection.
It's better than nothing. With most of the train having its own right of way, instead of doing it on the cheap and putting it on surface streets which causes trains to run at a snail's pace, they at least got that part right. As far as not trusting politicians, the way they got to be politicians is people voted for them. If you want to find out how that happened, most of you should just look in the mirror.
What a low quality third rate reporting. I am not surprised any longer as it represents the quality of people and public services in San Diego. About the trolly extension: Sooo poorly planned, still impossible to get to jobs at Scripps Health Torrey Pines, Scripps Research, other major employers in the area. MTS should also look into upgrading basic bus stops, which are just metal poles on the side of the road, when the rest of the world has wifi enabled bus stops, with roofs so people can wait if it shines too bright or rains, with electronic timetables and estimated arrival time. San Diego lives in post 2nd World War times when Nazis carpet bombed the area and it has not been rebuilt since, lol, if it wasn't that serious
I would argue it's not the public transpiration, it's the society in San Diego, I have never seen such rudeness, inconsideration, and inhumanity among people in any other place I have lived at
Waste of money. The 150 and 50 express buses, which originally serviced that area, were always empty. The new trolley will serve to transport bums to UTC. That 2 billion, at least 1/2 billion of it, could’ve wiped out homelessness in SD. I’m small gov but 500 million of benevolence is smarter than 2 billion dollars of a cute ride.
It would be great of there is a route that goes to the airport.
ha ha, you mean what the rest of the civilized world has had for last 50 years?
@@LifeReviewerSinceBirth yep. San Diego is getting there lol
That is on the plan from SANDAG. It will happen within the next decade or less.

It's a transit line, why are you worried about parking?! 2:25
What about if you try the same thing in a month from now.

I hate public transportation only because they are alot of crazy rude people who ride it!
Why people always complain and saying a lot of negatively so knock it off you got deal with it and suck it up
and they smell bad

Glad I got out of there while I could! People in that UTC area are in for a rude awakening!
New route for the homeless to get around
