Thank you for this installment. I am binge-watching your tubes.
I was wondering, now, when this one is more than 3 years old, is backlinking really a thing anymore to show up on the first page of the Google SERP?
I noticed many times that sites with very low DA and even sites with absolutely no backlinks can rank top 5 and even top 3 next to sites with DA of 80+ and massive backlinks.
Why is that? Just better content is my guess but interested to know your take on it Nathan.

Nathan you mentioned that the link type should be "dofollow" links, that you go after, which I agree with 100%, but, would it be a good idea to sometimes have a few nofollow links just to make the backlink profile look as natural as possible?

Good question Hasan. NoFollow links come naturally once your site picks up steam, but I do recommend commenting on niche relevant blogs because of the various benefits (outside of link building)
