At that time, it was working as intended (no caps as it has now) and would just make La Borra so ginormous while moving that you wouldnt believe your eyes (quite...literally, because its no longer possible to achieve that)

If you start with wicked season and choose mad groove in the middle of the run, you'll *always* collect xp when growth is doubled. Growth is doubled first in every 40 seconds cycle so every 2 minutes it reset to growth again
I recommend against attractorb though, since sometimes wicked season might lag and start growth season up to a couple of seconds after mad groove procs

I got a little confused with the math, going to assume you mean 30 second cycles, regardless wonderful tech!
Each season (growth, luck, greed, curse, in that order) takes 10 seconds so every cycle takes 40 seconds.
2 minutes is 120 seconds so it takes exactly 3 cycles between mad groove attracting pickups

Santa Water/La Borra is one of those few weapons where the projectiles don't immediately despawn even if their centre leaves the screen. Hence the projectile limit prevents it from firing new ones as you walk until the old ones either run out or maybe hit some outer cleanup box.
Every time I see the damage list at the end I chuckle at Bone.

@@tiltei2148 bone has 69 damage, 69 is a euphemism for some horny behavior and bone + r = erect
I love garlic for the projectile and rapid wave defense. the bat and minotaur rushes in the first and third stages can be completely negated by garlic but other weapons can easily have trouble being strong enough to deal with them. and the fireballs in many stages get wiped out by the garlic but pass through other weapons. it may be pretty bad late game but it can be very handy at times. and just did a solo run with pep and focused all the upgrades on might. by the time i died it was doing 300+ damage a hit and sucking in so much hp i was healing through most bosses and minibosses. if id had taken the cooldown reduction when moving arcana and moved it would have increased to insane attack power.

I think there is a misunderstanding, there is no "best" weapon. There are weapons that are situational "good" each do different things.
There are no objectively best weapon, but you can have favourites

If I said best then that was in the moment of talking, but tbh if you got a weapon that kills off-screen in the entire spawn zone the moment they spawn and that on 0 eggs, then it's even hard to argue against best
@@DexTag Maybe the only argument is in like "degrees" of best, such as best for early game and best for late game but, in the context of what you're doing, to me the proof is in the pudding. Absolute max curse possible pretty much and still crushing everything offscreen.

Yeah, as the queen that gets extra growth for every level she gets, I had that arcana where area grows with level and my santa water was so insanely OP
Worst thing about queen is unlocking her.
100% is a bit of a hard requirement but she is justifiably overpowered
Why did getting the chest ruin the run?
@11:50 If the other stats work like Curse does, the doubling of Wicked Season includes the base "100%" you have. 108% Growth isn't 108% exp gain after all, it's +108%, which means 208% total, which gets doubled to 416% total, or the equivalent of +316% Growth rather than +216%.
Which is, of course, why Wicked Season is so scary. Even with no shop Curse, enemies with a minimum 200%+ in stats are scary so early. Even minimally ;), it's a Torrona's Box. I really love Wicked Season, it's like a whole extra difficulty level which scales rewards proportionally. Wicked Season Smith is crazy if you can live.

I just finished a valkyrie turner only run, it was, laggy and amazing
everything looks good, arcana switchs to curse, boss rushes forward with a present. perfect timing. could just forgo having magnet and using mad groove.
Ah so thats how you gain tons of levels, use one weapon.
On Mobile, the Arcana chests are Purple instead of Gold.
The Santa water and mix it with the axe and it's candle power up so you have a wider drip on your Santa water than get the flam rod and the spinage so your attack out put is more, the Bible and it's upgrade, that will give the holy water a huge stack 💪💪💪💪💪

Incredible showcase of a limit-break weapon, by far the strongest out of the bunch
I had 1.1 G damage with just level 722. Instead of attract orb I took wings. I used a very similar strategy like you, but I didn't even need to ban anything. I got 337955 kills. I did not take left, but did take silver and gold ring and right.

I've done a little coding and I bet the guardian gets stuck so strangely because the right side of his hitbox gets stuck inside the left side of the bookcase hitbox and cant get through

It works better because the main issue is that they stop each other.
In the game at one point when the boss spawned at 15 minutes, the Medusa got bumped away like crazy and thus appeared so late on the screen despite the insane curse, that's the cause for it. So if they can come from all sides, you end up having a ton more effectiveness

wie jetzt meme? poe ist der beste char und knofi ist die beste waffe. das spiel heißt vampire survivors. versuch mal ohne jede menge knofi gegen nen vampir zu überleben... und kein scherz: mein poe ist der char mit den meisten goldenen eiern und mein char fürs goldfarmen. halbe stunde bonezone 1,5 milliarden gold ez.
ja, la borra ist eine der stärksten waffen aber gerade im early game (mit einigen goldenen eiern und nem frühen spinat) ist knoblauch gold wert. es killt die schwächeren gegner, hat keine downtime, kein projektil limit, die seltenen sachen wie duplicator sind dir völlig wumpe also kannst du ganz gediegen macht, bereich und cooldown nehmen und das beste: der erhöhte knockback bleibt bei der evo bestehen. wenn du platz für regeneration hast holst dir soul eater, wenn net bleibste halt bei knofi ohne evo. ja, der schaden ist kaum nennenswert insbesondere ab minute 10 fällt der ganz massiv ab aber wie gesagt fürs early game find ich knofi deutlich stärker als santa water also ohne evo. ich würde beinahe soweit gehen das knofi die beste early game waffe ist wenn der knockback net dafür sorgen würde das bestimmte andere waffen die gegner aus dem spawnbereich katapultieren.

I usually do it, but I prefer to do it without it in general. Despite me modding a lot, I don't like it when I play in a way everyone could play, and I don't want to fall into a pit hole where I do something and claim it's easy to replicate and then people have a stressful time when they want to do it too
But I think in the future I will mod it out again, I used to do it that way in some videos where I wanted it

Wait why exactly didn't he get la borra again?
I think it has to do with la borra following you to the center of the screen, the way santa water works, it can still be dealing it's full damage far outside the bounds of the screen. I don't know how much of a difference this makes by the end but, in the early/middle game you're definitely losing out on a lot of offscreen kills by not letting the water be so spread out. The more time enemies spend running to you, the less spawn which means you kill less. I don't think this is the whole equation but, it's at least a chunk of it.
how did you take barely any damage from the suicide explosion at 0:04??
You get invulnerability when you take damage, for a few frames. Usually limits hits to around 5 per second. If you just took dmg from e.g. the ghosts contact dmg then the explosion deals none
Yeah, limit break with weapons that have low maximum instances is really sobering
was labbora broken or is santa water that mutch better with limit break. maybe the map has to do with la borras lower score
If you want you can compare the weapon videos with each other, but even on the same stage La Borra would struggle as much. The issue was the lack in Area on it, and Santa Water just covers more by nature

I like the video, but you talk way too much nonsense. Constantly saying, 'oh this is bad' then nothing happens, and you don't explain what you're talking about. Or saying things like 'should I, maybe, yeah, no, ok' and then not explaining what you were thinking of doing. It's making the video unwatchable for me.
But why atractor tho ? It's just bad when you play this Arcana as first pick since you don't want to pick up XP except during the growth boost 🤷♂ was so painful to watch 🤣
It makes barely any difference. Santa Water covers enough that the enemies die so far away you dont end up picking up the xp and it just accumulates.
@@DexTag Yeah ofc in late game nothing mater w/e weapon you use when you play Limit Breaks. But especially in early game it's more efficient to Lv up faster by not picking up any XP except during the Grow buff time (making the run usualy more difficult and "tryhard mode", that's true).
I did that exact same run like 3 days ago but coudn't kill the guardians neither because of that Arcana, I mean you still can use map to block them like you did but it's not very "self rewarding" 😅
Edit: Maybe you can kill guardians in legit way (on any map I mean) with Wings instead, and curses not yet maxed, but duno I haven't tried 😄

7:50 600 times 600 is what? 3.6k? quickmath...its 6 times 6 with 4 zeros behind, a little bit more, just factor 100, close enough.
Also honestly about the modding thing...you replaying that 20 times is a lot more fun which cutting out the parts in between. Really laughed when medusa suicided on your face and you got a chest.
I didn't elaborate it because I gave up on it, but the issue is that the weapon stats are not in %. It shows % but it isn't. So e.g. a 600% would mean 600, but a character 600% would mean multiplied by 7 (and at that point I forgot the base 100 so I said 6).
6x600%=3600%, but at the time I realized I am just mixing numbers i just skipped the topic

How do you get these permanent upgrades for your weapons instead of coin bag and chicken when leveling up???
You need to use Limit Break. When you are choosing the map, there should be a checkbox that allows you to enable or disable the limit break option.
When you enable it, that replaces the chicken/coin bag option with level ups for your weapon or weapons if you have more than 1.

why dont u banish the santa water at lvl 8 so you have maxed it out at lvl 7, you can still limit break it dex, or maybe you need the lvl 8 stats...
I didnt have issues in the past avoiding chests, but I also never had Wicked since it's new
The level 8 from Santa Water actually made a big difference in the run, as I died to the minute 7 wave without it (which never happened in any other run), but in the end it's not a big diference
When I do these I usually want to go max stats each time, so losing one level up is a bad deal for me while that's my goal. But again, this was based on past experience at that point

By banishing Santa water, or any other weapon, before it reaches level 8, you can prevent it from evolving since you don't have it maxed out. You still get limit break levels which is great for some weapons, like gatti amari

I do like your content a lot. but, there are a few things you do that sometimes...really irritate. I could almost go to say, you now and then play poorly just for "tension". I know you are quite a good gamer and rarely make any more significant mistakes. but those are what you are doing on purpose.. come on! I know it's for content, more fun.. but yeah. sometimes it is just a hint too much.

It's a bit of a misconception, I don't do mistakes for content, I do bad decisions because I got an urge to do it.
Ever ran by a bush of stinging nessels or what they are called in English and thought "okay I know I shouldn't, but what if I took my clothes off and jumped in?" Or if you see an ant colony "what if I hold my hand in?". Well, I do that. It's not smart but I just wanna see what happens.
Same with e.g. Curse. I want to see if I can get it because I like to experience as many scenarios as possible to know how they work out or if they work out. Or, for example, when I get bored I like to find situations that may kill me and then I have to deal with them to keep my interest up.
The only difference to "I did it for content" is that I would not intentionally lose for it, like those that do it to continue another day or so. In fact this bs takes so many hours extra that I didn't need to put in, but it keeps my excitement up.
In fact a good example is the never move once challenge series. Initially you will see I "tryhard" the challenge because it used to be hard, but the easier it became the more artificial restrictions I put on myself or the more gambles I took for that reason
