Summer Bank Fishing In New York!

For today's bank fishing in New York adventure, we are heading to a dam to do some bass fishing from the bank. This dam is usually loaded with smallmouth bass, pickerel, largemouth, northern pike, like most Ny Bass fishing spots! But on this particular day, the bank fishing wasn't so great, so I called a bank bass fishing audible. I headed back to a nice bass pond where I knew I could catch largemouth bass from the bank. And I was right. I caught a bunch of bass from the bank in this clear water pond. When I started, the pressure was high and we had bluebird skies. By the time I started catching some bass, the clouds rolled in. The pressure started dropping and the fish started biting. Ended up flipping a jig for bass and dragging a jig for bass. I was going to throw the drop shot, and a wacky rig until they bit the jig. I LOVE jig fishing for bass. If the jig bite is on, I'm going to put everything else down and get to work.
