Highly underrated, great southern rock band saw them open for joe walsh. They pretty much stole the show. That voice is awesome, and the drums are just heavy and full. ROCK ON!

I imagine they have to be one those bands, that when they open, the "headliner" is watching them thinking, fuck, fuck, fuck, I gotta follow that

The current "classic rock" radio format is killing rock music IMHO. They keep playing 35-55 year old songs over and over. Not letting in the new guys, the " hip hop fixation" has ruined music. Even country!

That's true. I was born in 1982, but my brothers who were much older than me were teenagers / early-20's when this music was out and they introduced me to it when I was 16, although i'd seen a few bands on the tv when I was young, like Skid Row, W.A.S.P. Aerosmith, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi, Guns N' Roses, Megadeth, Def Leppard, Ugly Kid Joe, Pearl Jam, Mr. Big, Nirvana etc etc. 1st band I got into at the age of 2 or 3 was AC/DC, cos my brother played it on his turntable a lot, LOL.

I agree on what you said, music is an universal force but I had to make a distinction, a clarification.
As for the neighbor part, it wasn't meant to be read word by word. It's neighbor as in "Love your neighbor like you love yourself".

Judas Grunge was a juggernaut that killed the prospects of many bands who were trying to do something else. (I always lament the indifference shown to Jellyfish, who were musically amazing, but just not fashionable at that time.)

It's just too bad that this couldn't have existed alondside grunge. Never understood why it has to be flavor of the month in this country. Lived in Germany through the 90's, and everything as far as genres and sub-genres were alive and healthy. People there don't allow some arbitrary entity of the music biz to dictate what they should be listening to. I guarantee that 80's metal still has a healthy scene there. Thank god NWOTHM is maki g a comeback here

Why are so many still hating on grunge? Early Alice in Chains and Soundgarden isn't too different from this. Even Mother Love Bone, the band that spawned Pearl Jam, is a lot like this. So, by hating on grunge you're really just showing your own ignorance and insecurity that's been lingering for a very long time now. Get over it. You don't see people who were into alternative posting, yeah those boy bands of the 2000s don't rock like this. No one cares. And get out of your comfort zone for christ's sake. What year is this?
