This first Tora Tora album was so damn good, and my buddies and I also rocked it since 1990. Even did a couple songs live in our cover band. I remember going to the mall the day the 2nd album came out, and being disappointed/disinterested in it as we jammed it in the car on the way back.

I remember all of a sudden seeing the 2nd album out in like 1992. It didnt quite have the vibe the first album had but at that time (grunge) I was happy just to have any decent rock coming out. The album still had some great songs on it

I'm in my drum room rocking the neighborhood. My band rocked this badass in 90's. 60 years old, still kicking Tora Tora, Cinderella & all badass songs. Livewire by Motley Crue came up on song list, gotta jam! Neighborhood's not gonna like this house. I've been rocking the best since 4 years old.

I never really considered bands like this metal (not in the sense that I did Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Grim Reaper, etc.) I just considered them the natural progression of what Rock n Roll evolved into from 1979 to 1989 when this came out.

Many, many years back I went to see these guys at McGuffys House of Draft in Dayton, OH.
Restroom break and while I was preoccupied my then date decided to dance on the bar ... got us both booted out.
Didn't get to hear the first note, nor the first word from the band.
Just one of those 1989 bar nights. 🤷‍♂️

I've been living in Memphis for 7 years now. I worked at Rum Boogie Café and Blues Hall on Beale st. for 3 yrs. While watching a DVD box set I have , I realized that this was recorded in Blues Hall! Blew my mind. I don't know who the blues guy is. I play Rock guitar and since moving here have been learning to play blues. There are a lot of open blues jams here. Been having a lot of fun!

When I was in high school I never watched tv, but one night as I was headed out the door, Entertainment Tonight was on and they sometimes ended the show with a current hit single (I think, will explain later). The announcer that night said, "we usually end the show with the #1 song in the country, but tonight we're playing #100." Then they aired this video. I don't know why they did it, but I became an instant fan.

If you want to talk criminally underrated, those band got the shaft probably harder than most. Such amazing talent out of the gate. Years ahead of their time. But time is fickle. And they came out at the wrong one. They could have rivaled some of the greats. Jovi, crue, others. They were skilled and talented beyond their years. Such a shame. To imagine what, if given a chance they could have been. Because everything rhey made was gold. Every person in that band was perfect. Just too late. But I'll always be a fan. Rock on boys. Ya did an amazing job🤘
