Why can a standard vehicle engine not be used in freshwater with little modification? Couldn't you just delete the radiator and pump freshwater directly into the coolant system without a heat exchanger and then pump it right back out? It wouldn't be useable in saltwater but freshwater it should be right? As long as your not worried about the exhaust being hot that is.
