Fallout 3 marks the beggining of Bethesda's Fallout era, in which the saga shifted from RPG to open world FPS, which got... mixed results from the fanbase, to put it mildly. In this video I try to dot the "i"s and give my two cents on the topic.

I absolutely love fallout3 to bits but i still like fallout 1,2,and nv more doesn't mean i dont fuck with fallout 3
As I Vegas fan I really like this game, I find it most enjoyable to not really focus on the story and more on just walking around and discovering locations

Fallout 3 gets way too much hate from the New Vegas stans. I’ve played both and prefer the DC wasteland over The Mojave. It feels more post-apocalyptic. The metro tunnels feel claustrophobic. The setting is brilliant. The gameplay could be better and the gun play is a little lacking, but I still prefer it over FNV.
I've played fallout 3 twice and it's not as bad as it's made out to be, sure the main quest is kinda shallow but the side content is pretty good and I think the world space is fun to explore.

@@villings There’s a lot of Fallout videos where they argue with you about your own opinions. Some even call you stupid. It’s really pathetic. F3 may not have the depth that NV has, but it’s still a great game.
@@derangedtangerine4731 The main storyline is weak. It’s like they wanted it to be more, but ran out of time and threw it together. I believe the side quests are better than NV. And I may be one of the only ones, but I love the metro tunnels.
Heavily disagree there, friend, it gets criticism from breaking established lore and dumbing down the rpg mechanics

Dividing a fan base would assume a fair amount of the classic fan base gave af about that; shallow as the puddle the TODdler made after wetting its self, game.
"My muh faaahduh!" The excuse.
"My muh waaaaahtuh" The solution to an issue that wasn't real and was already solved anyway, hence why it wasn't an issue.

8:27 and you claim you are an RPG player... Bruh, how you interact with the world and the choices you make are the story... The "content" of "side missions/quests" and how do deal with them if you choose to IS THE FUJKINFG WRIGHTING.
What "story" is fallout 3 trying to tell... Daddy needs to fix a larger sized vault water purifier (OH wait, you would understand thats one of the issues that 3 has if you ever had that perspective), or was it the le epic quest to find daddy, who we already established is a fool beyond fools.
Yaknow, I can see why you said you "enjoyed" 4... That's about the capacity you seem to have.
Make sure to pick up that tin can, its more important then finding ya son that I'm sure you would say is LE EPIX STORY TELLING!
