Removed this in 10 minutes. Just moved the seats back and forth when removing the bolts. The harness can be removed from the back of the passenger seat. No need for all the extra work.
You can take the center console out without taking either of the front seats out. All you have to do is use a 15mm socket and a long extension with a swivel end. Push both seats back, take out the two front bolts, move the seats forward, take the rear bolts out, use a Torx TX45 and remove the seat belt bolts on each (one each side for the center console seat belt). Tip the console forward and prop it up with a board or tool, reach under the passenger seat and under the left seat rail, unplug the power and USB cables. (They are the most difficult to reach and unplug. Once unplugged, snake the cables out from under the rail, around the connectors you just unplugged from, under the carpet and remove the center console. Done, with NO seat removal.
Anyone know how long the bolts are for the jump seat? Bought a 17 silverado and there are no bolts in the jump seat. Wanta do a full center console swap at some point the the rattling it’s making rn is boutta drive me crazy
I’m dealing with this now. It looks like they’re the same size as the seat bolts but finer thread. I’m going to auto zone tomorrow. Did you get this resolved? What bolt size and thread did you use? Any help is appreciated.

My dad has a small tear in the leather where his elbow rests and he wants to replace the top. Is there a way to just replace the top opening without having to remove all that you did in the video?
I was looking at mine and was thinking it wouldn't be that bad without removing the seats... I want to replace the seat that literally no one has ever used and put something with more storage under there.

Once you remove the center console & fake seat, can you replace it with a just a console that goes where the seat was?

I unplugged the connections under the seat without unplugging the battery on the truck. Now I'm getting a service airbag message. How can i fix this?

+Kyke Removal of the seats is required to reach the mounting hardware and wiring harnesses required for removal of the console.
