Firman is one of the most prospective Indonesian Young players with Anthony Ginting, Jonatan Christie, and Ikhsan Maulana. He have unique skills, strong, fast smash and good fighting spirit. With all of them and he's left hander like Lin Dan and Kento Momota, he should get higher rank than nowadays . Unfortunately, he couldn't rise so fast like Ginting and Christie. Idk way, maybe he didn't get more games to play or something. Hope he could rise soon.

He could play from defense style to make his based game play to aggressive style look like what he shown in 2 last tournaments, Singapore Open and New Zealand open.

Firman ini sebenarnya udah lama munculnya dulu sempet ada istilah F4 (ginting, Jojo, Ihsan, firman) bahkan awal2 mereka muncul firman secara rangking diatas dari ginting, Jojo dan ihsan, hanya saja seiring berjalannya waktu firman tidak menunjukan progres yang baik, dulu sih ada yg bilang dia males2an makanya permainan dia tidak berkembang seperti Jojo, ginting, Ihsan padahal secara skill F4 semua hampir sama
Speaking about Ginting Yes. ginting is A good player.he have improved a lot. Because he is a all round player. Ginting Have Good Smash , Net play , front & back rally. Good backhand. But not this Indonesian player. Just hoping to get point by smashing. No brain
its tiring to smash like that all the time, sometimes lose to old-school because of that.
To me Firman Cholics' style seems to be like Tianhouwei's one
