I think in terms of physical skills Lee Chong Wei is the best. But Lin Dan's best skill is a master tactician, he can lose a tournaments on purpose, just to test out all your new moves and habits, but none of his own, then use this knowledge to beat you only at crucial points during the olympics or major tournaments. Not to mention an entire team to help Lin Dan, and his teammate can even sacrifice their chances just to tire Lee Chong Wei / other threats out during their matches (just like in F1 team play, the Chinese were doing it all along). Seriously I feel Lee Chong Wei didn't lose to Lin Dan, but lost to a country. If Lee Chong Wei played for China, maybe Lin Dan would have been the wingman, and vice versa at some point.
