You work at an adoption agency so you would be familiar with how that process really messes up a "birthmother". When a woman chooses adoption plan over abortion then she chooses to abort herself from her child's life. She carried that child for nine months instead of abortion. When she gives birth, that's her baby until she signs over her rights. Once she has aborted herself, she becomes an empty vessel, a b-word used for breeding and then discarded.

She weighed 4lbs and slept in a dresser drawer, she was born. The women who assisted in her birth, helped,”blow breath in her lungs all night.” Anyway, she had to quit school to care for her brothers and sisters, after her mama abandoned them. She was an amazing lady. That song reminds of her stories and how she would make me things from her extra material. My favorite, a pillow hand stitched, made from the fabric calendars she used to hang in the kitchen, it was 10 years old , but she made that pillow just for me. God Bless you, Dolly.
