My grandma was in a coma for 54 days! My grandpa, mom, and uncle were ready to take her home on hospice. I was praying and praying and played this song for her with my sister plenty of times! I’m a 62 mom & listening to these words on brought me to my knees. I’m divorced and I haven’t spoken to my eldest son in 3 years, my youngest stopped speaking to me just out of the blue. My other 2, son and daughter talk but it feels strained in a way. I pray everyday for their conversions. God is first in my life then my family. Whatever God does I accept. I persevere with prayer. I suffer from extreme anxiety which drags on fear. I was working and volunteering but it all stopped. I continue to do all the Holy Sacraments with my faith but I need to go to Mass everyday. There’s no excuse not to. He’s the one who’s going to give me the strength to get out of this. I HAVE TO GIVE IT ALL TO HIM. I ask for prayers. Some years back I was suffering from anxiety and depression. I had no friends and I felt so alone. The world had been hard on me for so long that my mind and body was so tired. I honestly felt in my heart that I wouldn’t live past 25 years old. I was so angry at God and felt he had abandoned me. I started listening to Dolly’s words of wisdom and music. I've been there too. After 30 years I still feel guilt for not getting us away sooner, especially for my son who was 7 at the time we got out. But then I realize looking back that it was God with us the whole time, keeping me from serious harm, building my nerve and strength to get us out so nothing would happen to the kids. Because of God I was not shaken when I got protection orders then moved us away from him to another town hrs away. I hope you're doing well now that it's months behind you. It's not your fault that there were things wrong with your ex. You did all you could as you worked to get away. Be strong. Stay safe. We are survivors not victims. Because of God.

I’ve never heard this song until now. I’ve been struggling since my Mom died from brain cancer last year. A lot of family dysfunction hit me from others when I was there to spend her last hours with her. My mom was my best friend and she said I was hers too. She’s always been there and as she got older I took care of her because I love her. Things get too much sometimes and I talk to myself everyday about that there is still a reason I am here in spite of my own health issues. I wonder why but God only knows and that has to be good enough for me. The trusting begins with that statement

This song came to me when I needed it most. I've been suffering from addiction, crippling depression, suicidal thoughts, and genuinly struggling to find my place in life. While I haven't conquered my addiction or pain, this song reminds me that God loves me regardless. I'm not infallible to making mistakes. I'm human, warts and all. I love God and have always believed in him. "God Only Knows" is a ludicrously powerful song and it's a reprieve in my life every time I hear it, as it somehow placates my pain and makes me feel better. Dolly and her beautiful vocals are a shining star on this track and For King & Country wrote what is easily the best song I've heard in years. God bless Dolly and For King & Country. I still struggle with depression, but I've come to accept that it's okay to feel sad and to have all human emotions. Experiencing all emotions helps us better empathize with other people and understand them. I'm thankful I know how to be happy, sad, mad, etc. All emotions, even happiness, can be bad for you if you only experience one emotion. It'll make you apathetic or non-understanding of other people. To experience all emotions is to experience the many emotions of God and to hear them guides, directs, and touches us in a manor that helps us become better followers of Him.

I’m a 62 mom & listening to these words on brought me to my knees. I’m divorced and I haven’t spoken to my eldest son in 3 years, my youngest stopped speaking to me just out of the blue. My other 2, son and daughter talk but it feels strained in a way. I pray everyday for their conversions. God is first in my life then my family. Whatever God does I accept. I persevere with prayer. I suffer from extreme anxiety which drags on fear. I was working and volunteering but it all stopped. I continue to do all the Holy Sacraments with my faith but I need to go to Mass everyday. There’s no excuse not to. He’s the one who’s going to give me the strength to get out of this. I HAVE TO GIVE IT ALL TO HIM. I ask for prayers. These are the strongest things we can do for each other. As the song says “Start Over Again”. If the Good Lord gives me another day. God Bless✝️🙏❤️

Some years back I was suffering from anxiety and depression. I had no friends and I felt so alone. The world had been hard on me for so long that my mind and body was so tired. I honestly felt in my heart that I wouldn’t live past 25 years old. I was so angry at God and felt he had abandoned me. I started listening to Dolly’s words of wisdom and music. I have been through so much after I got away from my abusive ex husband with my kids, I feel like on of the misunderstood and ashamed. But then I realize looking back that it was God with us the whole time, keeping me from serious harm, building my nerve and strength to get us out so nothing would happen to the kids.
Because of God I was not shaken when I got protection orders then moved us away from him to another town hrs away.

I’ve never heard this song until now. I’ve been struggling since my Mom died from brain cancer last year. A lot of family dysfunction hit me from others when I was there to spend her last hours with her. My mom was my best friend and she said I was hers too. She’s always been there and as she got older I took care of her because I love her. Things get too much sometimes and I talk to myself everyday about that there is still a reason I am here in spite of my own health issues. I haven't cried listening to a song in a veryyyyyy long time.... This gave me goosebumps. Dolly voice is so beautiful. I am so glad she was part of this.....the duet in this was breathtaking! 💗💕💓
I appreciate how, after singing it to practically everyone at their lowest point, the final video for God Only Knows is a message to their past selves.
This song came to me when I needed it most. I've been suffering from addiction, crippling depression, suicidal thoughts, and genuinly struggling to find my place in life. While I haven't conquered my addiction or pain, this song reminds me that God loves me regardless. I'm not infallible to making mistakes. I'm human, warts and all. I love God and have always believed in him. "God Only Knows" is a ludicrously powerful song and it's a reprieve in my life every time I hear it, as it somehow placates my pain and makes me feel better. Dolly and her beautiful vocals are a shining star on this track and For King & Country wrote what is easily the best song I've heard in years.
God bless Dolly and For King & Country. They may never see my comment, but I'm so thankful for this song and I want it to be known that this powerful song makes me feel loved and wanna fight my pain and become a better me for God, my fiancée, and for myself. Thank you.

I still struggle with depression, but I've come to accept that it's okay to feel sad and to have all human emotions. Experiencing all emotions helps us better empathize with other people and understand them. I'm thankful I know how to be happy, sad, mad, etc. All emotions, even happiness, can be bad for you if you only experience one emotion. It'll make you apathetic or non-understanding of other people. To experience all emotions is to experience the many emotions of God and to hear them guides, directs, and touches us in a manor that helps us become better followers of Him.
Praying for those replying with huge challenges in front of them. Follow your Savior! He will not fail you. Praying for & loving you as my fellow man who conquers life's trials with conviction.

I've had 2 children go home. One in 2003 my baby girl and my son June 12 2020. It is blind faith that comforts me. I'll never forget them. Miss them every day. This is my new norm. They will always be with me. But I know they are with the Lord in paradise and I'll see them one day. Just know she's fine and your grief will always be with U. Just know that God has U and that he loves u and so do I in Christ. Have a peacefull rest of of ur life in Christ. God bless and keep u.
