- We all know electric cars are quick off the line but it seems even the quickest internal combustion cars don’t hold a candle to the new generation of battery-powered, zero-emission offerings.
Rimac is still fine tuning the Concept_One but has previously stated that the starting price will be $980,000. That might seem steep but, as the video above demonstrates, we’re talking about the fastest electric car to be built and sold to the public. According to Rimac, the 1,088-horsepower car will hit 62 mph from rest in 2.6 seconds, pass 124 mph in 6.2 seconds, pass 186 mph in 14.2 seconds and eventually top out at 220 mph.

Archie Hamilton gave this car the much publicity that it deserves. Now, everyone can't stop talking about Rimac and its incredible power and torque.

@salomondrin After Rimac came in I'm no longer interested in those powerful gas/petrol cars. It doesn't make sense to adore Porsche 918 or La Lerrari when there is Rimac :)

The point of racing is the talent of the driver. Such bullshit to say engine revs, shifting, etc are just noise. Why not just put a robot in the fuckin car. It's basically going to be robot wars. Lame as shit.

The charge can last for hours of driving or less than 10 minutes, it all depends how fast it's going. The same applies to other cars with close to 1 MW, they can go through a full tank in 7 minutes.
bullshit. this car dragraced 5 runs in a row against porche spyder 918 and won all of them. without any recharging or any problems after a run. just watch for solomdrin videos(the guy who lost in his porsche)
That's not funny. If you drained a 83kwh battery in 15mins you would cause a FIRE. Minimum time you would safely drain the battery is more like 45mins.
Problem would still be Thermo Dynamics. You would require massive amount of thermal management and cooling to safely pull that amount of power to achieve 200mph for 15mins. Genovation GXE around 200mph for like 30secs.
