I have mine set up with negative pressure - one 120 mm fan at rear and one 140 mm fan at top, both exhaust. Temperatures aren't too bad but dust is an issue with it being negative pressure.
I find that the front fans for this case dont pull from that front vent area all that well, it pulls about 60% from the front and 40% from the back with the motherboard and circulates the air. My temps are ok tho. Temp maxes are aio watercooled 79c ryzen 5 3600, stock 70c 2070s both overclocked.

I have a NZXT prebuilt with this case since 2019 with a R5 2600 and a 2060 Super and the temps never got above 80°C even under a gaming load for a few hours. The hard drive tray has 4 brackets on top of it to mount a third hard drive. It turns out that the drives are so close together the middle one gets too hot to operate for very long. It kept giving me warning lights in Crystal Disk info. I ended up being glad the tabs were there or it would have been a single drive cage. The rear of the case where the cards screwed in was made of very soft metal and my graphics card ended up getting stripped out before the build was even done. Also the front panel ports are the cheapest I have encountered on this case. The USB-C port would hardly accept a plug like it was made of rusty aluminum or galvanized metal. Many times it wouldn't even connect. I have seen videos where content creators have been building rigs and have gone to just set the glass side panel down on the ground to continue working and it shattered in their hands. It also has the worst mechanism to lock it, very hard to make it stay on. Case makers are moving away, in unison from 5.25" DVD bays to make room for radiators and it makes me sad because even if you don't have a DVD drive there are many other things you can do with them. I am not into water cooling because I use Ryzen chips and they come with a perfectly good CPU cooler in the box. There are so many options for a 5.25" tray. There are drive fan controlers, extra IO ports, Multi SSD or NVME bays and more swappable 3.5" drive bays. The list is exhausting. tests of the cases airflow indicate that adding 2 extra fans makes no difference at all to temperatures, and that changing the exhaust fans to intake fans actually increases the temps. @@laneburgett So micro atx is not supported ?
@@bluebladed5382 you can put a micro atx in a atx case
Could I put the stock fans on the front? Because I rather put my RGB fans on their orginal position
For sure!
tests of the cases airflow indicate that adding 2 extra fans makes no difference at all to temperatures, and that changing the exhaust fans to intake fans actually increases the temps. As long as you have 2 exhaust fans, you should be good, but just know that the 2 front fans will be doing nothing but making noise and slightly reducing dust build-up over time
@@jonatansexdoer96 okay would it be better to just put a water cooling radiator there?
@@is-3shchuka765 if you have a 240 radiator, then put it on the front, it can't go anywhere else. Not sure how that will affect airflow for your gpu though, the cases airflow is mysterious.
@@jonatansexdoer96 I'm sure its fine these fans only go one way but they could still need some air I could modify it would some severe cutting but luckily I have the materials to.
Please tell me you took the plastic off the glass 😂 Great video!
I did haha!
@@laneburgett Good, I was worried that you were one of those people that leave the plastic on their tech 😂😂
So, this case don't have any filter?
On the side panel it does.
@@laneburgett also, in your video you say the front panel can't be removed, so there is no way to take off the front panel?
It does look like a great case, but I’ve been told the airflow is terrible. Is that true?
It’s not terrible, but it’s not insane either.
@@laneburgett Ok, thanks!
Do these case have rgb fans
They don’t sorry!
Rly helpful, nice video 👍
Thank you!
What motherboard do you need to make the front panel usb work because I chose a intel i5 and Idk what motherboard will make it work pcpartpicker says my motherboard doesn't support it I went with a intel i5 9400f
Usually newer gen mobos will have it, or anything pretty nice.
@@laneburgett do you have anything suggestions
and TLDRs?
So i am building a pc with an rtx 3070 and r5 5600x and need a case for a cheap price, from what you are saying ut sounds great, what do you think?
Yeah, I would for sure go with this one, or the Corsair 4000d.
Anyone know if you need a cpu cooler with this or more fans or even a dust thingy?
Well you should always have a cpu cooler installed and should probably have at least one intake fan at the front. But I believe you’ll get a better deal buying a two 120 ml fan pack.
would i need to buy extra fans for the front?
I would recommend it.
The black h510 comes with the led strip and led fans right?
No that’s the H510i the H510 doesn’t
Loved the vid! Bought the case earlier today and now conflicted as to whether is should cancel it
Thanks a lot! I would definitely recommend trying it out, but if you don’t return I’m sure there is a return policy you can abide by.
Good video but you failed to mention the front 2 fan slots could be used for an aio
Just got this case. Where do I plug in my monitor?
Through your motherboard or gpu.
My guy did you think this was a pc??
@@seege87 no
ayo does anybody know if i need dust filters for this case i got it built for me so i dont know
Not really, doesn’t get much dust because of airflow.
is there a vertical port for a graphics card and is there the place for an Aorus Geforce RTX Master ( L x l x H : 29/13/6 cm ) ?
There’s no vertical mount for a gpu, but that gpu should fit. The h510i does have a vertical gpu mount though.
Can you put fans on the front of the case? And can air actually pass through the front too?
Yes, it brute forces the air through.
Hi, air flow is good, just keep the 2 air filters clean, the one on the left front side and the other in the front bottom, and put some strong fans in there if you have an very powerful and heat producing system!
I am going to build my first build in this
Sweet!
im gonna build my first pc and this is my case 🙂
Will an rtx 3060 fit in the case
can you fit a 3060 in there i know nothing about computers
Easily you could probably fit a 3090 if need be
I bought the prebuilt hp pavilion, and I was wondering if I can use this case with it
Which one?
@@laneburgett www.ebay.com/p/10040420578
I have the white one but I was thinking of switching it out with a 4000d airflow
They are both great!
Can an EVGA 650 BQ fit in there?
Guys does it support i5-10600k,rtx 3060ti. Im not sure airflow is good or not
You should be good with those, as I said airflow is not terrible, but it is not insane.
@@laneburgett ty :)
No problem!
if i use an aio from rog, the lc 240 white with white edition of this case, how should i mount the aio, i mean the direction and the position of the case
I would put it in the front of the case. They say putting the tubes facing down is better, but I think it ruins the look. But it’s up to you on that one.
@@laneburgett yes it's better when it's is faced down but I will put it upright 😂 for looks
But the quesion I wanted to ask was weather the fans should face towards glass or interior and radior to be used as an exhaust or intake, I think intake as there will be no intake left them and it will create a negetive pressure
