Welcome back to our favorite Stepdad-Simulator! Today's episode is an emotional rollercoaster - I think that's the best way to describe it. While I have your attention, today we reached 10K subscribers and I'm honestly speechless, thank you guys so much for being here and putting up with my shenanigans, you have no idea how much better you're making my days. I hope you're enjoying the playthrough so far! 💙🤠
Yeah, this game does a great job of making you feel on top, maybe even laughing, and then brings you crashing down in the next moment. It’s great! Heh A fun well, not fun, but bittersweet fact, the dog you can pet in this section is modeled and named after the real life dog of Joel’s voice actor Troy Baker; sadly his dog passed during the making of this game, but they immortalised and memorialised him in the game for Troy.
Yes, you're right about Joel trying not to allow himself any weakness. He also has survivor's guilt, and even 20 years later blames himself for failing to protect Sarah. Not wanting to face the possibility of failing (and loss) again, he didn't want the responsibility of protecting Ellie. He reluctantly changes his mind at least in part to honor Tess.
6:17 ahh Tess said that from the show I'm pretty sure... exact wording to , lol but in the game she says something different but pretty much means the same thing lol
No idea what she said in the show since I'll only watch it after playing TLOU1+2, but I just went back to see what she said in the game and it's: "Guess what, we're shitty people, Joel."
@@Prymbra I'm so sorry to spoil 😅 I usually think of that... But you will like both the show plussss season 2 hopefully soon and fully funded n beyond and tlou2 which since your playing the remake will come more naturall.
I haven't ever played a game that has broken my heart so many occasions yet totally in awe of it just loving the playthrough prymbra & congratulations on 10k i couldn't think of a more deserving lady who offers totally unique experience that never fails to entertain well done 🙌🌻🌻🌺🐝💜
Glad that reached 10K subscribers. Your gameplay is really good- you understand what is going on, maximize what the game offers, make intelligent and logical choices, have empathy, and connect the dots well (for example, I particularly. liked your connections about the letters from Kyle and Ish with living in the sewer from the prior episode. I want you to consider a game in the future- "Ghost of Tsushima" is a beautiful game about a (lone) samurai defending his island from Mongol invaders. The story line is very good, the side quests are very good, and the world is very large. I think you would like the combat since there are many options to choose from depending on the enemy.
There's a house in this part where you can get elle to go up to the attic and get you an upgrade unless you got it off screen... But if you play it a second time on your own time just remember....
Another amazing playthrough! And yes, this episode had all the feels. I was right there with ya with the tears. I was only screaming to upgrade and use El Diablo (and its scope) as it is a powerful arm. Hahah. Whenever the game gives you a new weapon, there’s often a reason as for example the bandits and following enemies have armor and those new weapons may be more efficient than the revolver or the pistol. Something to keep in mind ;)
Don't be ashamed. I've played and beaten this game so many times, I can probably do it blindfolded. That being said, I always cry with Sarah's and Sam's death. I've seen it happen probably 100 times and it gets to me EVERY SINGLE TIME. Tearing back the horror aspect, this game and the show on HBO (you should definitely watch. I'm sure a lot of us would watch it with you if you upload to your channel) is a story about love and the extremes one man will do to protect it.
RIP Sam and Henry. That farmhouse sequence is one of my favorite parts of the game, the farm is gorgeous and it's probably the only part where i found the stealth fun.
Joel just needs to remeber, Ellie is just cargo. An expendable cartoon character in a video game. Best not to dwell on such things in one's survival. ... Ellie deserved a good switching for running off though... She cost a dozen men thier lives.
Yes it is a sad game. You held up far better than many other TH-camrs that were shattered by the hard cut scenes ; ) Really glad you are enjoying it. Thanks for posting.
Nice videos and great reactions! Also you have pretty decent skills of shooting in this game. By the way can anybody tell me why almost all German people speak English so good and they all sound like Americans? Just curious since I'm Asian😂
I don't intend to spoil anything for you but Ellie saying " I'm scared of ending up alone.." Is gonna hit u every single time later in this story , even in the 2nd part of Last Of Us........
Oh my god more people danger 🙀🙀💥💥 and more infectad 😱😱 Ooh sad 😢😢bye Sam and Henry 😭😭💔💔 Now joel and ellie looking tommy 🎉🎉🎉 Tommy don't tell her your wife maria because she angry hehe 😅 Drama joel and ellie 😱 And congrulation for 10k subscribers you're awesome ❤️❤️❤️
Playing the entire series, watching the show, they're gonna hyper focus on Lev and Abby and not for the better. Ellie was and will always be the more important character, despite her annoying teenage habits, Abby only mattered later because the game developer needed a way out of the corner he wrote himself into Because when you play the game, watch the show, someone like Abby Never would have mattered because if that were the case there's an argument to keep Sarah alive instead of killing her off like the npc she and Abby's father amounted to
Is it just me, or were the old facial animations *so* much more expressive? It's one thing to have to get over the facial redesigns, some of which don't look like the originals at all - that, however, is a matter of preference - , but I'm actually disappointed with a lot of the facial work in this remake.

You deserve all the views and subs. You’re an excellent player! Ready to start this ep right about now

That scene with Henry and Sam is heartbreaking. It's amazingly well done, the first time I saw it I had to stop playing for a bit to collect myself.
33:07 If you hang around in the toy shop long enough, you can spot Ellie picking up the toy.
Ohh, I keep an eye out for it on my next playthrough!
Cool! If you look directly at her the animation wont happen. Keep Ellie in your field a view and just stand still like you're afk@@Prymbra
Always refreshing to see another generation of TH-camrs enjoying this game. Good luck with the rest of your playthrough Prymbra.
Thank you Stephen!! 😊💙

Prymbra: Ah dammit!
Joel: Goddammit
😂
We're in sync ✨
34:56 the deepest part of the game 😢
Your reactions to this game are so pure ❤
13:00 Impressive. I didn't know you can do this. 😮
Hahaha it's so cool, right?!
I am also playing TLOU for the first time. And When I saw what happened to Henry and Sam my heart sunk.
33:05 "When did she even..."
-----> Watch part 5, 44:30 again closely.
Good example of how well thought out and planned this game is.
Congratz on 10k subs!
Thank you!!! 💙

The 4K quality is absolutely stunning.
I'm so glad I played this game on my new PC! The graphics are absolutely incredible

yesss, i would love to see her play it!
Very awesome gameplay, Prymbra 💯.
Thank you Clintzie 💙
That cut at the end of Summer to Fall is so good.

congrats on 10k subscribers you deserve it💙✌🍷
Thank you so much 💙💙💙
How ironic I literally just finished watching the previous part then she uploaded part 6 already
Awsome episode and congrats on the 10k subs 🍻
Thank you!! :)
This game is the wildest roller coaster of emotions you can experience in a game 😅... love it though ❤
Prymbra, i'm on watching you playing
part 6 of TLOU1, i'm glad that you are
on today with it have a great week and
Thank You very much Prymbra.😊
Congratulations on 10k subs! You earned it!
Welcome for the safe type
Yay! A new Jenni video. 😃 Edit: another great video. I love your trash talk to the enemies. 😂
In the first release of the last of us part 1 there wasn't the added animation part at the upgrade table
RIP Sam and Henry. That farmhouse sequence is one of my favorite parts of the game, the farm is gorgeous and it's probably the only part where i found the stealth fun.
The emotional turmoil of this game wow!
Yes this game is so beautiful! Great job
Joel just needs to remeber, Ellie is just cargo. An expendable cartoon character in a video game.
Best not to dwell on such things in one's survival. ... Ellie deserved a good switching for running off though... She cost a dozen men thier lives.
Well too late now but uhhh yeah u can zoom in on the El Diablo 😅
Ohhw, I'll check it out when replaying!
Losing sam and henry broke me😢
Yes it is a sad game. You held up far better than many other TH-camrs that were shattered by the hard cut scenes ; ) Really glad you are enjoying it. Thanks for posting.
After this, Please play the DLC and then TLOU2 :D
That's what I plan on doing! :)
Idk what's sadder, Henry and Sam dying on the show or in the game
If you are gonna play part 2 i strongly recommend to be aware of the spoilers. Because its not gonna be fun.
You missed the attic
Yep, forgot to go up the stairs
Nice videos and great reactions! Also you have pretty decent skills of shooting in this game. By the way can anybody tell me why almost all German people speak English so good and they all sound like Americans? Just curious since I'm Asian😂
Such a great part of the game, such an amazing story.
Any thoughts into playing the halo series of games? I think you would be intrigued by the characters and story if you are unfamiliar with it.
Anyone want any ice cream lol
I used to watch this channel when it had quite the different name lol.
TLOU is an amazing story. But remember, it has no squeal.
It has a sequel, and the sequel is better than the original
@@dreero_ lol no it is not. Not even close lmfao.
"squeal"
lmao
@@CIintB3ASTW0oD It absolutely is unless you think Joel is the hero of the story
@@CIintB3ASTW0oDyou’re absolutely right the sequel is such a dumpster fire I hated it so goddamn much
We can't keep anyone! 😭
Don't worry tho even men tear up to this❤
A real mindblowing end eh? ... I'll see myself out. 😅
And stay out
is that ps5 version?
It's the remastered version on PC!
Have you played Red dead redemption 2
Nope, not yet! But I'm planning on doing that after TLOU1+2
@@PrymbraYES! I'm excited to see the playthrough for that game
I don't intend to spoil anything for you but Ellie saying " I'm scared of ending up alone.." Is gonna hit u every single time later in this story , even in the 2nd part of Last Of Us........
You're German? At times, you sound Norwegian.
Yep, I'm from Germany!

How about try not to play the game before .:: it’s so obvious
Never seen or played the game before so I'll be taking that as a compliment lmao

excuse me. Are you using gtx1070 to play The Last Of Us Part 1 at 4k 60 fps?
No, I am using my 4090. If I played this game in 4K and had the highest settings on with a 1070, my PC would probably explode lol
