Howdy, Tarnished (I am never stopping with the howdies) 🤠✨ It is finally time for me to go and try out a FromSoft game! Elden Ring has been on my To-Play list for SOOO long already and now, with the DLC releasing, I think it's the perfect time to dive into this game head first! For those of you who are wondering about RDR1, do not fret, it is coming to the channel, probably sooner than you might think 😶🌫 I really hope you guys enjoy(ed) this first episode of my Elden Ring playthrough and that you're going to join me on this journey, I'm sure it's going to be a lot of fun and I'll definitely not rage. AT ALL. Thank you for watching, don't forget to leave a like & a comment if you've not done that yet, I'll see you in the next one 💗💗💗
i didnt see the whole video but i hope you are gonna deactivate that online stuff it really ruins the game sometimes. Anyways i think you are gonna like this game, best of lucks

try to figure out the skill system.. :D if u put your shiled away u can do the special skill attack with L2 :D with single or double weapon.. :) once u figured out that one will make combat lil bit easier.. :D but great start! :)
The most intelligent first playthrough of ER I have seen so far, I am amazed:) Looking forward to seeing the rest of the journey with this capable tarnished:)
The day has come. I’ve been waiting so long for this. Please enjoy every minute of this. I wish I could forget everything I know about this game and play it for the first time.
I'm so happy you finally started the game. Some tips for the game: Fromsoft likes to hide the story in vague item descriptions and NPC dialogue, be sure to read the newly discovered items in your inventory (you can toggle the new items tab in the system options) and visit NPCs on the map regularly, they help you get a sense of what you are doing and to where to go next. Don't be discouraged by failure, the game might seem difficult at first but it gives you everything you need to succeed. Also don't care about comments saying you 'played the game wrong by using certain things' you play however you feel like and just enjoy the game. oh yeah and.... get maidens.
@@Prymbra Also talk to NPCs repeatedly until they start repeating the same lines, try and listen to what they say closely and do what they allude to, sometimes you can fast travel to the nearest grace to advance their quest if they are repeating the same "final" phrase or othertimes you will find them elsewhere in the world. Without a guide though it's impossible to do most of the NPC quests properly in a blind playthrough sadly.
HOLY COW!! I will watch this series until the end! Welcome, tarnished! Take your time with your adventure! Get lost in an open world souls game and have fun! And it's ok to die a lot. Because that happens to all of us in every souls games!
Glad the algorithm showed me this. Always fun seeing a new tarnished begin their journey. Enjoy your first playthrough, as it's a pretty magical experience, Elden Ring was my first souls game and I wish I could experience it for the first time again
1:16:41 Only during nighttime. A few bosses in the Open Worldonly appear during the night so if you want to find and fight them you need to explore during the night. This boss is one of these night time bosses. PS: If you want to use your shield to block attacks I recommend using the brass shield you found instead of the one you started with - your current shield does not block all physical damage while the brass shield does.
Holy crap! Her coming up on the tree sentinel was perfect with the framing, music, commentary... Hard to believe this is your first Souls game. You did really well with dodging and rolling.
That was quite pleasant to watch. No shouting, profanity, ego acting, ... just somebody curious trying out the game. It's just a bit sad to see how the online version of the game is littered with notes intent on spoiling any surprise. I'll happily continue to play offline.
Nice content and nice content creator! Reading the players' messages adds extra fun, because I think they are a nice detail of the game others often ignore. Would watch again!
Tip on rolls: The simplest rule is to roll towards the enemy when he attacks, the damage just doesn't go through you at that moment. This tip alone will allow you to defeat most common enemies and most importantly bosses
Wow, you got Nerijus so early in the game 😅 I was too scared to approach him after he beat me up hard. Leveled up first before coming back to him. But I see you’re built differently… 😎
Got here through my recommendations and after hearing your intro I'd just like to welcome you and wish you all the best of luck and skill for your journey. I love watching new players trying (and in most cases, falling in love with) these games. I hope you enjoy yourself and play the way you feel works and is the most fun to you. Do not let anyone tell you that you need to play a certain way, if you like using summons or the spirit ashes that's fine, just like it is an excellent way to tackle the games soloing the bosses as long as this makes it fun for you. It really isn't a miserably hard experience once you actually start playing and most of the really hard bosses are optional (even if optional never was the option for me, lol).
This has been in my recommendations randomly and I decided to follow your playthrough. Please try to enjoy it as much as possible. I wish I could play this for the first time again.
I discovered your channel through this video. I gotta say, to be basically your first experience with the souls genre you did surprisingly well. Unfortunately the souls community tends to be... let's say not very welcoming, but I am glad more and more people are beginning to enjoy, or at the very least try, Souls games.
Remember to enjoy the game and play however you like, the game has alot to explore, alot to try regarding builds and play styles. And the whole game is like a piece of art come to life
Oh man, get ready for on of the most incredible gaming experiences of your life! I would recommend watching a few tutorial videos on how upgrading your stats and what weapons/spells scale with each stat and the type of play style you prefer.
Tbh, for a first-timer on a FromSoft game, I've gotta admit that you were pretty decent. Great job with the back stabs and parries. Just remember to rest at the sites of grace, especially when you're out of heals. Great job, though. 👍🏼😃
idk if anyone told you yet, but when Fia held you and gave you the bauldakin's blessing, she took some of your max hp. to get it back, open your inventory, go to consumables, and find and use the bauldakin's blessing
You couldn't use your skill because you had your shield equipped, and parrying with your shield and using your skill is on the same button. So to use the skill of your weapon, you have to either unequip the shield or two-hand the weapon. Also at 21:30 you didn't manage to activate a critical hit because you used a strong attack and you stood too far away. You need to sneak up to them and then use a light attack and that's going to activate a critical hit.
Aw nice, you started Elden Ring around the same time I did! Wish I would have found ya series sooner. Either way it's a great watch, thanks for sharing your playthrough!
Good Luck tarnished I Hope your journey goes well and habe Fun playing It and Just play on the most comfortable way doing everthing on your time,Hope you to became the Elden lord 🙏🙏💪
Hello, Prymbra. I love your playthrough so far. Almost finished with the first video. I plan on playing Elden Ring soon and it's great to see it from your point of view so thank you! Also you are very sweet. Just like a cupcake! I just hope this game will not drive you insane. Good luck on your adventure!
Props, the way you took on that first giant/troll dude was brilliant, and oh so close. I took one look and noped out of dealing with him until a good while later. Good luck with your playthrough, I just went for an easy life and Magneto'd my way past everything, life's too short for bug bite swipes and constant heart attacks!
Very excited for you to take this journey, tarnished! I think you would love the game Disco Elysium, might be a good change of pace between these challenging let's plays 😂
Im so happy you start your Fromsoft journey. I just started mine last week also with Elden Ring. I have to say you so much braver than me 😂. My advice would be: explore the world there is so much to see and explore and to find.
I LOVE watching new people enjoy the game, hate the game, get frustrated with it. So excited to watch this! And DO NOT listen to the toxicity that will come from some people. Use summons, play with helpers if you want. If the way you play is fun then play that way and TRY not to let anyone tell you otherwise
I was just wondering what to watch and then saw this vid came out 😆 Plus, seeing you on Elden Ring, what a time to be alive ! Go enjoy every minute of this game ! And tbh, Elden ring is From Soft's best game for introducing you to the franchise !
Elden Ring is an amazing game, I'm glad you're gonna play it! Best tip that I could give you is don't be afraid of death. Death is a mechanic in this game. It's going to happen, so you might as well fight everything you can. You'll learn from your failures and it'll make you a better player. Also, don't worry about it if you lose all of your runes. It sucks, but you can always get them back by killing more enemies. Hope you enjoy it!
First time on your channel. Looking forward to your playthrough. Inevitably, someone in the souls community is gonna tell you your playing wrong. (Mainly that you shouldn’t use summons). You just play however is fun for you. Ignore them.
It seems you and I started our first playthrough of this at around roughly the same time :D (maidens unite!) I squeed when I saw you pick the Warrior, the same as I did :) You are definitely better at it though, I panicked a lot more and just straight ran through the barricade without fighting the enemies in that gorge towards the Stormcastle :'D It's truly such a beautiful and rewarding game. Glad to see you play this. I'm a new watcher but you seem nice, I'll tag along for a while ;)
Great first video! Always nice to see how different people explore Elden ring, there’s so many different ways to go. Hopefully the fromsoft community hasn’t been toooo toxic to you, as they aren’t always the best at accepting newcomers. It’s a lil’ silly, seeing some of the other comments, some accusing you of ‘having played before’ due to being ‘too good’, whilst others are lambasting you for not knowing stuff. Can never win xD Also you should have killed Patches :p No mercy!!
When holding weapons in both hands, you usually use R1 to attack with the one in the right and L1 to attack with the one on the left (or to protect yourself in case you hold a shield or a two handed weapon). However, if you use two weapons of the same kind, like you do sometimes, L1 can be used to attack with both of them at the same time!!
Aside from looking gorgeous, I like the way you just naturally react and speak and keep it simple, unlike many streamers today who just act like tools and way overreact to everything... Wish u the best of luck
I'm really enjoying your Elden Ring Let's Play! I've noticed that the dark scenes, especially in the early cinematics, look exceptionally good in your videos. The black levels are smooth and not pixelated at all, unlike in many other Let's Plays I've seen. Also, I like that the colors a not as pale, maybe your using HDR and or RTX? Could you share what settings or techniques you use to achieve this high quality? Is it a combination of recording hardware, software settings, or post-processing? Your advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you, sorry for the late reply! I'm recording with OBS in a 4K60 format with a 70K bitrate! RTX is turned off but other than that most settings are maxed out
Just stumbled across this video through the YT recommendations, pretty cool first episode :) you definitely have the patience and mindset to beat the game, hope you continue
I got this game recently too. I always put it off because people said it was hard. I been playing it soo much. My advice would be 1. Don't be afraid of dying. 2. Try to upgrade weapons. 3. Talk to NPC until they start reapeating. 4. Explore. I am also a Warrior class and I would tell you my gear but that might count as spoiler...
Play it how you want to and you don't have to stick with one build or weapon/armor. You can always respec later if for example you get a weapon or spell you like better but requires a different attribute. You can use spirit ashes if you want to, ignore the gatekeepers. In fact I love 2 spirit ashes in particiular so I would suggest trying them all out and leveling up the couple you like.
Hahaha I love butterflies as well!!! The one I bought is not available anymore, but I found a similar one, you should find it if you search for: "Fanive - Off-Shoulder Long-Sleeve Butterfly Applique Shirred Crop Mesh Top" on Yesstyle, it should also be on AliExpress iif you look up "Butterfly Top" 😊
always cool seeing more folks jumping in elden ring its a cool game. Ive some probs with it but i can admit even if it doesn't fully land with me it is still an epic title.
@@Prymbra Then please, would you try out The Legend of Dragoon? I'd love to watch you "Let's play" it. I think you could really enjoy your time with it and to be honest, i'm also curious to see your reactions to the various twists and story event this hidden gem will throw at you. It was a Sony first party exclusive for the Playstation 1, but recently got re-released on PS4 and PS5 PS Plus Classic catalogue. But you can also buy it without subscribing to PS Plus, for something like 10 bucks.☺ What do you say? 🤗
You did much better than my first time playing lol and you knew you didn't have to fight everything from the start, I probably spent 2 hours trying to kill the tree sentinel
One suggestion Jenni, keep some notepaper handy so you can keep track of names, locations, and places you want to explore. The world is vast and it is easy to forget things.
You'll have a smoother journey if you level vigor to about 25 at the early game. It's fine to level Str/Dex/etc just enough to use a particular weapon, but you'll be able to survive a few hits while learning your combat movesets. Fun journey, enjoyable video.👍
Oh and you may have figured this out but with a weapon if you don't have the strength to wield it you can 2 hand it and it increases your effective strength by 50% so you could have used that sword right there by 2 handing it and equipping it in the equipment menu since with two handing you had 22 strength. it's not well explained along with a lot of other mechanics. cheers, enjoy the game, easily the best game ever made. sorry if I'm explaining stuff you already figured out, this is my favorite game of all time so I get a bit excited to share knowledge.
My friends are big Souls fans so I do know about mimics haha 😂😂 I also already played Lords Of The Fallen, which also had a mimic mechanic, so I'm always paranoid 🥲

Just stumbled across this video through the YT recommendations, pretty cool first episode :) you definitely have the patience and mindset to beat the game, hope you continue
Good luck~~ It's not easy but very worth playing Elden Ring ^^
If you break the glowing skulls on the ground you get runes btw
Thank you for the tip!
If I had a penny for every time someone said Santa when they saw kalé I’d be a rich bloke 😂
What a pretty dress, my GF loves butterflies, where did you get it ?
Hahaha I love butterflies as well!!! The one I bought is not available anymore, but I found a similar one, you should find it if you search for: "Fanive - Off-Shoulder Long-Sleeve Butterfly Applique Shirred Crop Mesh Top" on Yesstyle, it should also be on AliExpress iif you look up "Butterfly Top" 😊
Another one joins our ranks. Good luck tarnished.
Thank you! 🫡💗
Just found this. Loving this let’s play!
Thank you!!! & welcome to the channel 🫡💗☺️
always cool seeing more folks jumping in elden ring its a cool game. Ive some probs with it but i can admit even if it doesn't fully land with me it is still an epic title.
Red dead redemption 2 and elden ring are 2 of the best games I've ever played.
1:24:21 THIS is how you start a battle! Truly an anime moment!
It does look pretty sick ngl
Make sure to read descriptions of all the items you have in your Equipments and Inventory. That's where you will get most of the story
I will try to do that!
Oh here we go!
33:36 that guy was just havin a good time lmao
Hi Pry, do you play old school JRPGs?
Hey Melbu, I don't think I've ever tried one out!
@@Prymbra I second this. Try out jrpgs, starting with Legend of Dragoon
@1:37 - Carbot plushies! You're going to be *fine*... 😊
Yeah, especially when talking about secondary missions and such, there’s no in-game record of them!!
her laughing at the narrator's moan lmao
It caught me off guard LMAO
You'll have a smoother journey if you level vigor to about 25 at the early game.
It's fine to level Str/Dex/etc just enough to use a particular weapon, but you'll be able to survive a few hits while learning your combat movesets.
Fun journey, enjoyable video.👍
Awesome, magnificent and have a wonderful day Jenni.🌫️💞🌫️
Thank you, Roger, hope you have a good one as well! 😊
She did the intro more intelligently than all my bros 😂
Oh and you may have figured this out but with a weapon if you don't have the strength to wield it you can 2 hand it and it increases your effective strength by 50% so you could have used that sword right there by 2 handing it and equipping it in the equipment menu since with two handing you had 22 strength. it's not well explained along with a lot of other mechanics. cheers, enjoy the game, easily the best game ever made. sorry if I'm explaining stuff you already figured out, this is my favorite game of all time so I get a bit excited to share knowledge.
Nobody told her L1 hits left on Torrent 😅
I found out about that later on 😅
The game is incredible honestly. I hope you will stick it out even if it gets tough for you! Hope you really enjoy it
100% agree that touching grace is better than touching grass. 😂
"i hope that the souls community is nice" 😅😅😅
Just began the game too, enjoy it its pretty cool !
It's been really nice to me so far! Hope you'll enjoy your playthrough! 💗
No Souls experiance? You always hit a treasure chest when you see one 😂. Good luck on youre yourney youre doing great so far!
My friends are big Souls fans so I do know about mimics haha 😂😂 I also already played Lords Of The Fallen, which also had a mimic mechanic, so I'm always paranoid 🥲
