Hey Mike, the only thing I can think of would be to do them uniformly in a star pattern somewhat like tightening Lugnuts. I would drive them part of the way and work my way around and then start back over, gradually tightening it down. If that makes any sense.

@@mikegroat7732 :: What I sometimes pass off as knowledge is oftentimes dumb luck! You’ll do fine. Those plates are likely to be a little delicate, so you won’t want to peen those rivets too far or it may fracture the fibers.🤷🏻♂️

Yes....I agree....I also have a dozen auto body, temporary rivets, that I was going to use to hold everything in place. Come over for the fun!!

A palm nailer, and mallet laid on the other side of the rivet.
