  • Hello! It's Hannah! I tried something new to demonstrate how to make this Colorful Polka Dots Blanket.
    As we've all had to adjust to COVID-19, we are finding it more challenging to have our quiet spaces to film our tutorials. We have everyone home and working around us. So we thought we'd try filming and editing with words and actions.
    Thank you for understanding!
    This video demonstrates the stitches and techniques used in the Crochet Colorful Polka Dots Blanket pattern. Visit daisyfarmcrafts.com for the full written pattern: daisyfarmcraft...

    I love how well you show this step by step. The only thing I would like clarification on is how to tie off or end each time we are done with the row that has the bobble.

    I enjoyed this video very much. I think this gradual introduction of someone other than Tiffany doing the videos is going to make the adjustment easier. I watch and listen to your videos not just to learn something new but to enjoy the soothing and relaxing rhythm of your voice as well as to watch your hands move the yarn. I hope that doesn’t sound too strange. In any case, this helps me to first get use to other hands and crochet motions and then I can gradually get used to a new voice. I think that this will make for an easier transition. I’m sure that it isn’t always feasible for Tiffany to do the tutorials for Hannah’s patterns all the time. So I’m happy to see Hannah show us what she’s got. Thank you guys for your tutorials and your generosity with the most beautiful patterns. Also, I’m so happy to see a clover hook.😍

    Fabulous video and totally understand about the audio, but really missing the cheerful sound of your voice. Like many others I frequently watch your videos and love the sense of connection. Hope to hear you again soon!

    Brand new crochet-er here. LOVE your channel and the patterns on your site. Thank you for all the content you put out! I have a question - probably obvious and simple. For row 2 you chain 2 and then hbhdc across. How many stitches do you end up with on that row? When I chain 2 at the end of each of these rows (2-7) I end up increasing a stitch or so each time. At the end of row 5 I had 112. Row 1 totals at 109. After row 2 should it stay 109 or increase to 110? So how many stitches should there be on row 2 and how do you not increase a stitch each time when you chain two and don’t skip stitches at the start of each row? Thank you so much for any help!

      I think I’m having the same problem. As I continue I realized now that top part is getting longer than my first chain. Did you find out what was the issue?

    • @kameldeeprana2645
      @kameldeeprana2645 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You should have 109 stitches in each row. There are no increases. I found using stitch markers at the beginning & end of each row helps as I also found I was increasing. The edges of the blanket will not be exactly straight however the border will hide this. Hope this helps!

      Hi Beverly! Hannah tried something new since I'm having a hard time finding any quiet space in my house since everyone is home during this covid time. I'll still do the regular tutorials, we just needed to try and get this pattern out as so many are wanting a short tutorial. xoxo, Tiffany

      @@DaisyFarmCrafts Tiffany, I'm relieved that you plan to continue to do the regular tutorials! I missed your voice. I watch my big screen TV from my recliner. I kept trying to figure out why I had no sound. I listen to the tutorials, as I am most likely crocheting while I "watch" them. I do the same thing with pretty much All TV and all videos. My husband tells people that I don't watch TV, I listen to it! :)

    How many foundation chains will we need if we decide to do single crochet instead of half double crochet?

    At the end of row 9 are we supposed to cut the colored dot string?

    Hello dear when you finish the blanket how you do the edges.

    Can anyone tell me how much of the bobble yarn is left over after finishing the pattern? I want to make this with different brand yarn, but am trying to figure out how many meters I need since the skeins are different sizes.
