Hey, Tom's project. I am here to tell you that the last guy really puts in a good effort, and from my side, he or she hit 5 ppt. I also have a small request that you please make videos like this because we really enjoyed them and learned something good from you and from those editors. I hope you reply to me. Good Luck. Bye-bye!
@@TomsProject yeah sure I am waiting, I just subscribed to your channel for that and I learned something good from your channel through these types of videos... and Thank you soooooo much for the time that you reply me, Be kind sir 😊😊❤❤
Don’t get me wrong, every video sent here was amazing and every editor featured here is awesome. But you rating the video was missing 1 thing: the key-point. Editing is all about setting a vibe; If it’s a vlog featuring playful transitions, a review featuring quick cuts and zoom ins or a documentary featuring many effects and intense background music. When rating an edit, it shouldn’t be what you prefer / what fits you the best, it’s about what fits the creator and the video’s style.
I totally agree! That’s why you should always take my feedback with a grain of salt. That being said my style of feedback is also to always bring it in a personal way instead of stating it as the truth. For example: I’m not the biggest fan of this font vs This font is not great and doesn’t fit the other font. Not only that, if I have to check if it fits the client too these videos would just become too long and difficult to make because of rights
It really depends man. They’re both good, if you edit a lot in after effects I would go for premiere. If you edit vlogs or lifestyle stuff davinci is great, especially for the color grading capabilities.
Hi Tom, Thank you for sharing with us another amazing content full of value and inspiration. I have just a question: my laptop doesn’t run AE really fast like yours. What computer do you have and what specifications (like CPU, GPU, ssd, ram etc.). I think it would be really helpfull for us, showing your setup because it’s a thing that really matters and can really boost your workflow.
6:19 small editing mistake on the peeping toms hehe ! nice video tough i would appreciated more if u would have taken only the top ones like some were just too common
Hey Tom, you already covered everything about Editing styles and I learn so much from you from the last 7 months for that I'm very Thankful but I'm facing some issue lately with my creativity, not the editing I know Ae very well to the point I can say I'm perfect but when it comes to creating I'm feeling very low and dissatisfied with myself thinking I'm a loser, is there any way I can feel confidence about myself while editing or taking right judgement.....
Hey! First off, thank you for the kind words it means a lot. Feeling low on creativity happens to all of us, even the best editors. One thing that helps me is stepping away from the screen. Or just search stuff on Dribbble, Pinterest, Twitter & TH-cam. Also, trust yourself you’re not a loser, you’re just in a growth phase. Keep experimenting, even if it feels uncomfortable, and your confidence will grow with it. You've got this!

Hate the game, not the player. Everyone in this community calls themselves an editor. Editor is just the general term for everything that falls under it nowadays.
@@TomsProject editing originated from films then on to television but motion graphics originated from stopmotion so the entire concepts are different. There are legendary editors in Films, Television, documentaries that their main focus is on storytelling, rhythm and pacing to make emotions work and create cycles of tension and release. they don;t have to open after effects or illustrator or photoshop because motion graphics, visual effects, 2d animation, 3d animation, sound design, color grading are departments on their own. amateurs who don't know the job have started calling everything as editing so It's stupid to see a professional motion graphics artist like you who never talks about actual editing rhythm, pacing or anything related to editing claiming yourself as an editor and correcting designs and typos. If you respect your craft call yourself motion graphics artist and not a pro editor. it just shows your ignorance and amateurism. I know you defend and justify yourself by blaming the community but seriously respect the editors job and don't call yourself one. this is offensive to actual editors

I don't understand the hype, when motion graphics (which is what I see here) has always existed
After effects is already really old. But more and more creators want to up their quality and have these animations.

6:19 Hy did i heared 4.30 or someone else as well?
Nah it was a 4,3. Somehow used the wrong animation. But he ho, shows everyone makes mistakes including me hahaha

please suggest some good free plugins for after affects

It looks like for advance editor your monthly sub?
It’s for both staters and advanced editors. You do have to have some basic knowledge of course.
@TomsProject okay thanks u do know that people focus span is reduced 1 hour video i dont think we gonna make the most of u community
Is it just me
Or is after effects easier than premiere pro
Oeh, I mean in some things. Premiere pro is elite in basic cuts. But animation is 100% easier in after effects if you master it.
Premiere pro is only for cutting, transitions and sfx , everything else you do in AE in most cases
Yoo see the UI and compare which is complicated more.... obv after effects
Priemere pro is easier than after effects in levels
@@Aboodkemal Trust that's what I felt
But to me premiere is way more complicated
Maybe because of the type of edit I make
Because I'm used to ae
@@Mof3ditz oh that's why but if you knw the basics it would be easy for you to edit on it...

That’s fine! At least let me know how you would rate them.
Yeahh he needs to improve himself I was noticing that too lol bro like retention editing too much
hahahaha
is it normal to edit 30 minutes long videos on after effects only?
No. Cut the length that you need and put it into AE
Jup. Ideally you don’t have compositions that are that long. More like 1 minute. So edit in premiere first, then go to after effects!
