Sofyan, you’re reviewing one of the most expensive trims with the more powerful engine however most buyers will choose one of the cheaper trims with the far slower 2 liter engine. It takes over 10 seconds to do zero to 60 in a Crosstrek with the 2 liter engine due to the heavier curb weight of the Crosstrek. In comparison, a base 2024 Corolla LE gasoline sedan can do zero to 60 in 8 seconds and feels much faster since it has more horsepower and weighs 500 pounds less than the Crosstrek Subaru needs to eliminate the 2 liter engine. It has no business powering a 3400-3500 pound vehicle.

They could have put a little more effort to make it looks not cheap.
Nah that cvt overheat😂😂😂
Apparently you are not acquainted with Subaru CVTs as they do not overheat! Watch Driving Sports TV’s TH-cam channel for proof. Subarus are very reliable and capable vehicles!
19 mpg? that sucks
I’m pretty sure it’s considered at hatchback or compact sedan. Definitely not an SUV lol.
Rubber band transmission no thanks 👍
Nice car with a huge turnoff, the CVT transmission.
5/7 not enough plastic
It needs more plastic cladding.
Too much body cladding on this is model. I'll take the 'regular' Crosstrek if I were shopping for this model.
Not if you're exploring 1000 dirt miles in AZ and scraping past branches scraping off the clear coat.
Soon Subaru will cover there entire cars in cladding lol. Also you do realize what happens to black plastic cladding from sitting in the sun, yeah looks absolutely horrible
No turbo and no manual ...ugh cvt
everything you keep saying subaru should add would significantly increase the price.
buy a different vehicle lol
jesus that 7.8 seconds is so brutally horrible sounding lol .... I wouldnt mind a cvt in a 500 Horsepower car lol...cause the 0-60 will be a lot faster and the horrible cvt sound would last only a few seconds.
Lol at this price just get a Forester
182hp, cvt🤢🤢, d.i from subaru know to suffer from carbon buildup. Yeah no thank you
Who cares? Go play.
@@eskieman3948 you cared enough to respond so lets play
Hey Subaru! Get off your a$$ and put a turbocharged option, a manual and at least SOME analog knob controls for the infotainment system.....oh, and ditch that gaudy, cheap looking gold trim. Looks like a gold front tooth on a drunk.
As usual NO heated steering wheel on the WILDERNESS model. Way to go Subaru
SUBARU KNOWS HOW TO MAKE BLAND AND UGLY CARS. 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
They must have made your family, scummer.
😁😁
well i would disagree I love the look of my new crosstrex
Can hardly pass a vehicle on the highway. So slow its dangerous.
You've never been in one to make that statement, but thanks for playing Internet Expert.
This car is perfect for daily driving.
I put mine in Sport mode and have been able to pass just fine and I’m a fast driver
Even a base 2024Corolla LE is faster than most versions of the 2024 Crosstrek
Where I live we have to do a lot of single lane passing. In my moms crosstrek it takes forever to pass someone. The transmission is not for a car enthusiast. One long ever lasting gear. Handles like its riding on a jello pudding snack. I fffffing hate this car.
Oh gosh, dammit I feel like the substitute teacher in key and Peele. You said another stupid thing the instant panel the dashboard is correct. Everything is exactly as it should be and to disagree with it. You’re wrong and we can talk about it later again I respect you and your channel, but those two points I would love to debate you and I promise you at the end of the debate you will come to see things my way and I will buy you a beer a local beer from Michigan. I do not know where you live, but I wish you all the best. Have a blessed day.😅
I'm like just those three things the heated steering wheel 360 camera with front facing off-road camera and power liftgate and is absolutely perfect vehicle
Finally a vehicle with more plastic cladding than the Aztek & arguably uglier
😂. Truth!
All that plastic 🤮
I've never driven a Wilderness model, but the regular Crosstrek models are god awful. Slow and unrefined. With so many other companies offering AWD I'd don't understand why anyone would buy this garbage.
Because you're clueless? You said the keyword: "regular" Crosstrek. And, as for the "so many other companies offering AWD", they can't compete withe the Subarus, especially THIS one. Think not? There are other reviewers here on TH-cam that have done comparison tests, and the Subarus kick their butts.
The 2.0L version is slow, but so is a lot of its competition. Just what else in its class does it better?
Cause it's symmetrical AWD and a 4 cylinder. What do you expect?
Which version cause I have a 2021 with upgraded engine and it’s pretty quick. In sport mode anyways
@@surferboi2005 which upgraded engine do you have?
So if Subaru knows what's good for them this is their number one I mean it might sell a little bit less than that of the Outback but if they just gave this vehicle a tad bit more attention than just a slight more upscale maybe even bigger tires for the Wilderness version they would be killing it
Would love to have a this But still in love with my 18 crosstrek limited souped up.
Why can't there be two stores compartments on the back of the seats
