The R in GFJBR probably stands for red.

Man, it seems more airgun/airsoft companies are getting on the dart blaster market, which is pretty cool in my opinion
The dart blaster is more affordable and more kid friendly so it much more accessible, I think it make sense

This costs more than when I bought the Ceda Model S. I’m going just stick with that and see what the Nexus Pro is instead.

If I remember correctly, the Ceda Model S is the same price, but it went on sale several times for $20 less. The Gameface Prime should hopefully have sale days as well.
The pump grip is better than the ceda S tho for sure and maybe the stock too-but I wouldnt buy one if I already had a Ceda S
The nexus pro is 50 dollars US and has similar if not better preformance but it comes with the adapter and both mags may not be as good as the Ceda but for 50 you seem to get a good deal, i'll be trying to grab a nexus myself soon. But the nexus pro comes on Walmart shelves so.
@@sheilaolfieway1885 I grabbed two on Monday. They are amazing! And, to change the spring...it's one screw and a twist. It definitely hits 140-150fps almost every time. And, a ceda spring (longer) can go right in for about a 20fps addition...throw a rifled muzzle on the end...$4.00... and you still hit over 160fps with accuracy.
For $50.00!!!!!! Unless you go buy the spring, but still cheaper.

Hey man great video. I like any new entry into the space, more options is always good. I’m wondering if Zuru or Buzz Bee will make a competitive grade blaster ... or maybe even Hasbro, I would really like to see those offerings but until then we can keep our fingers crossed I s’pose. I'd love to see a test video on the darts, and I would also be interested in a video on dart storage options.
For me, I like that talons are "traditional", and you can't instert them wrong way. (That are also more popular)
As for katanas, we have all loaded darts the wrong way in a mag, so I like that that will never happen with katanas, but in a war you could hypothetically instert the mag the wrong way and that could be disastrous.
In my opinion, talons win.
Wow this takes me back, I had a GameFace Bone Daddy paintball marker back in 2003 (ya... old) and that thing was an underrated beast for a Spyder clone. Never bought anything of there's after Crosman bought them. Glad they kept the brand alive. Now if they kept the winking skull prime indicator that would've been really cool.
Yes I will check out more of your twitch live streams and it would be fantastic if you did a detailed video on the game face darts and maybe Jet blaster quick darts. I also used the link to preorder a game face to rock with my Ceda's today!!

I've never done compensative Nerfing, but if it's anything like real guns, an omni-mag would be a disaster.
We were trained to do both speed reloads and tactical reloads under extreme pressure, and I could not imagine having to look at my mag to see which direction it's facing, especially in the dark.
I know putting a Nerf dart in backward is more forgiving than M855, but my point still stands. :)

Just use Talon mags. You'll need to buy a different adapter, but it's $3 or $4 bucks. Then the Talon mags cost like $7 each. Worth it if you don't like putting darts backwards.
I love how 'out of the box' competitive blasters are becoming a new culture. Can imagine the future of the culture, love it. Dzp1, dzp1.1, old ceda, ceda s, gameface, adventure force nexon prime(I can be incorrect,here). What more can a guy ask.Probably ten years down the road they will become way common and way cheaper.

Another great video, I would be interested in seeing the comparison between the gameface's darts and mag vs talon and DZP darts and other combos. When I shot the gameface I had some feeding issues with talon mags with DZP shorts and am interested to see how yours performs, I'm pretty sure the problems were alpha RT breech related. I have both of the DZP's , a ceda s , and am going to grab a gameface. With all the springs and parts that I have I'm sure I'll be able to set it up how ever I want it and at whatever fps I need for the game I'm playing.

Well it’s $5 cheaper than the Ceda S but it’s more expensive than when the Ceda S goes on sale which is pretty often (It’s sale price is $65)

Love the CRKT Karambit. I couldn't afford the nice one, so I got the $20 knockoff and it is still really fun.
You don't need to unscrew thumb screws to take apart a Ceda Blaster. What I do with my Ceda S is prime it first to take out mag adapter, then put a finger over the barrel and discharge it. Then take out pins and pull it apart. Reassembling this way with sled attached to priming rails can be a bit tricky at first, but once you realize that front half can pivot almost 90 degrees with sled partially inserted it becomes very easy to align everything.

I'd like to see a video or data firing Worker gen3s and DZP pros on this setup. The FPS consistency of any springer, to me, is dart dependent.

The most important thing this does is bring in American competition to the dzp. It does a few things better, namely the price, the takedown function, the air seal, and the zro. The darts are also competitors, and I’m far more excited about those personally since I already own both a dzp and a ceda s. The darts will for sure have a more lasting impact on the community if they’re comparable to the bamboo darts, seeing as they’re in theory cheaper.

I think my parts dont have an air seal or something. I had problems with the blaster shooting so light sometimes darts wouldn't even make it out of the barrel even though the blaster was brand new. So I bought a 12kg spring and new o rings and still can only get it to hit above 100fps sometimes. I know it can go higher because it has hit over 200fps a few times but that is pretty rare.
Update in July 2022, blaster is now 40 dollars on Amazon
I was definitely going to pick this one up. BUT! After finding 2 Nexus Pro blasters, testing them out (Amazing consistency and accuracy with the short darts. If you miss with the first shot...adjust the distance using the "iron site" and you WILL NOT MISS the second shot) I may actually pass on this now.

It's a different Ceda, at the same price point. I think it will have a place in the market, even if it's just for showing airsofters what darts can do.
I've been skeptical of wanting one of these but after watching this I'm a little less skeptical
IMO katanas are better because that open area would still allow you to see how many darts you have if you 3d print them in a opaque color
Yeah, I'd like to see what those darts are like. Probably won't be as good as the pro dart, but you never know.
To have a mag load both ways is a plus imo. That way you don't have to worry a whole bunch of which way your darts are facing when you blindly start to load your mag. If the mags are labeled which direction they go it doesn't really matter I don't think.
On another note, I always saw myself investing in talons, but if these katanas are gonna be sold state side at an actual retailer (target, Walmart, etc) at a reasonable price, I think it might be a better idea to invest in these. I think I have to rethink of what things I'm going to buy for my stampede build...
Also on topic note: that blaster reminds me a lot of the 416c from rainbow six siege if you've seen it. I dig the front barrel a lot actually.

Not gonna lie, part of me wants one just to have the white secondary color for a brighter looking blaster than my CEDA S and its black secondary coloring.
I got this blaster for 35 bucks after shipping. Don't love the blaster but it performs well. Problem is screws falling out and disappearing,notably the front stock. Prefer the Trion but will keep this as something to loan out in games.
Other than my Nexus Pro which is rock solid with its upgraded parts from your Pro Shop I would love to know what the next tier up for a reliable and durable Springer hobby level blaster would be because I've been constantly let down by the jet designed Game Face Prime to the point where I don't think I'm going to keep dumping money into it....

I love the omni on the katana's personally for me i just think they are a better geometry then talons and i know a lot of people will disagree, but i just really love having walther style releases on my handle fed pistols/blasters

How easy would it be to make this take full length darts? The HvZ group I play with has a 120 cap, full darts will probably have it shoot just soft enough for them.

The only pro with this is the colors and the ability to take it apart easier, and that in my opinion doesn’t warrant the extra 35 compared to the fifty of the nexus pro, plus you can go to a Walmart and pick up a nexus pro for $50 that comes with extra mags and it’s more powerful (10fps shouldn’t make a difference tho) overall just buy a nexus pro
.... why not just integrate the adapter for half length mags into the blaster if it cant feed full length darts...?
I'm assuming that the feeding is meant for you to use half length AR style clips instead of the talons; otherwise I have no clue why they made a pusher system that can't take full length darts. Other than that it's a nice blaster.
mags that are either way is not a feature. it did end up being nice for hand fed pistols, but those are not really used. I leave my mags face down and want a tacticle feel when picking it up to know which way it is
