I feel like the same thing I said about the NP applies here: If you had told me 5 years ago that I could walk into a target/wally world and pick up hobby level performance at retail price, I'd have said you were crazy. Also the fact I can walk into a retail space and pick up 200 half lengths for TEN DOLLARS is nuts. Dart Zone didn't just change the game, they created an entirely new one. They've given everyone an affordable outlet to enter our space and as wars start back up, I know so many people (myself included) that will be rocking these as they take their first steps onto a battlefield. Dart Zone already calls the Red/Green darts that come with the new Tomahawk: "Red Diamond Darts." So that is a no-go. (Not to mention the pattern is triangles not diamonds). Max Darts is perfect (calling them "Max Accurate" is too much.) You only need to make up new names when the official name is confusing or terrible or unclear. Since Wal-Mart will be the only place selling AF Pro darts, that avoids the problem where Waffles have two names (AF darts -ugh- or Dart Zone Sureshot darts). So DZ makes Waffles and Red Diamond in full lengths (best for fly wheels) and Bamboos, AF Pro and Max for breech loaders in both lengths.
Makes me wish they're in global toy shelves same with Adventure Force and other stores so that Nerf either step up their game or just crash and burn.
I really hope that they could get them stocked up in the UK cause I reeeeaaaly want one

@@captsomeguy1 hope so, I'm planning to save up and get a Nexus as well as a Caliburn for use with my nephew when we have a foam battle. The UK is really slacking when it comes to the options for foam-flinging fun outside of Nerf and Xforce unfortunately

@@sirifjfjdjsjdufjdjdjdcjcjd3157 tbh I love the nexus pro, but I directly prefer the shotgun style pump grip over the vertical pump grip, so imo, the max stryker is the nexus pro, but perfected.
It's just really nice seeing you so super genuinely happy with a store bought blaster straight out of the box. It does look mighty impressive.

I just got mine today. It is so wonderful. I am loving it with both full length and half length darts. And the new diamond darts are excellent. Another one that has been knocked out of the park by dart zone
I actually like the rail on top a lot more. Gonna need to bring one home. First thing I want to do is put a strap on that pump grip. Lit bit of extra purchase around the hand while pumping I think goes a long way.

I was hyped for this blaster when Dart Zone teased it because it looks cooler than the NP in my opinion, and I'm even more hyped now that I've seen it in real life, on camera. I remember hearing it hits shelves in August, so I'm gonna try and be one of the first to get my hands on one when it does.
I never thought about trying to shoot mega and rival rounds with the Aeon Pro but I tested it and apparently it can shoot them as well... that's so sweet.

@@geovaniflores3448 fr, 50$ aint much for how well built these beasts are, plus they’re INCREDIBLY accurate and powerful for how cheap they are, the next step up would only be like a custom one or a personally tuned nerf blaster

I need this thing. Like the blaster aside that suppressor essentially being a Jack of all trades ammo adaptor makes this a must have for me. And then the blaster itself looks amazing…as someone in western Canada who still hasn’t been able to find a nexus pro ANYWHERE if we get this blaster up here I’m getting it.

I am super excited to get my hands on one, love the look of this one. I would say a good 3d mod would be a replacement barrel front that is maybe abit longer than the current one and of course a scar. So rather than a plug in scar, a built in version. And maybe a vertical pump that sandwiches like the orignial to avoid what adrianna was saying about the prime wiggling with just a picatinny handle mounted on it.
I think the darts should be called Prism darts, because of the trianglular prisms in the darts head.

Max darts, great video, I have been waiting for you to get your hands on one
Just got this thing home. Comes with the spare O rings on the stock just like the NP and has a top bolt release that looks identical. Hits nice and hard, extremely accurate. I dare say it feels and shoots better initially than my NP, and has a more solid beefy feel. The pump is a tad small for my big hand and the heel of my hand hits the magwell if I don't grip it far enough forward. I'm going to have to attach some form of vertical grip. Also the sights that came with mine slide right off. I'll be putting a picatinny sight on it anyway, but worth noting.

I think a grey color matched mini Holo sight would be cool for the stryker. Similar to what airsofters run, but cheaper, and it doesn't have to be AS accurate as the airsoft version due to the nature of the foam darts. :)
I cant wait to try this one out. I have a Nexus pro and i love it However the primer does make my arm hurt after a while of using it since the pull is pretty strong and i use my off hand to prime. So i hope that a grip style pump would help with that

An alternative muzzle break would definitely be appreciated! The Stryker gives me huge "sniper" vibes, especially with the included scope, so maybe something in that vein? I know I printed off a few different muzzle breaks with my roommates for the Nexus, and I'm curious if the mating system on the Stryker is the same or similar

Do the same mod as foamblast and bevel the barrel. It reduces jams and increases consistencey. However, considering how loose the barrrel is, we should problably all replace it. (unless you really need to fire waffles)
Bought the Stryker sights for my nexus pro and found myself having to aim pretty much right smack on top of the target to hit my target lest I fall short. They look cool though
I was really hoping to see the Hyper round over the chrono. Already excited about the Monolith being the best electronic Hyper blaster hahah

I think I know why the muzzle attachment is like that. I have done a couple of mods to my Nexus, one of them was adding a 12 inch brass barrel. I had to design and 3D print a shroud to protect the brass. Looks like the stock muzzle attachment on the Stryker would do the job!
Would this barrel mod work for this rifle as well?

Awesome Review Drac! Dart Zone is Killing it! What a great time it is to be a Nerfer. While the Hyper line doesn't initially look Perfect, I think it has huge Potential and honestly looks like a lot of Fun! Then if you want to step up your game there are all the Amazing New Releases from Dart Zone like the Max, especially at this super affordable price point. The hobby just keeps getting better and better! It's so nice when the Manufacturers listen to their customers and create Awesome and Fun Products. It's a win/win for us! 😎

drac went from looking like every 15 year old from the 90's to a texas drug dealer to a taller and skinnier version of the boss from the Incredibles
I just picked up a Stryker and it is amazing that I can get such a useful blaster for $50 and not need to do any risky mods. The nerf market has evolved
Making it into more of a SMG style looks promising by just collapsing the stock. A different style stock would do a lot with just iron sights. I like the stock ACOG they made. Looks good.
Definitely looking to get one of these to get back into the Nerf game! Though I'm wondering if the rail is a proper Picatinny so I can put a holo sight on it

I like the nexus pro slightly more just from an aesthetics standpoint plus I'm just used to the nexus, but i don't mind this at all and will be picking one up at least for a loaner

This is such a great blaster, I prefer the look of this to the Nexus's owing to the colour and the stock mainly. I'd love to see a mod guide too!

I prefer the design DNA of the Stryker to the NexusPro, I think I will actually pick one up to get in on this short dart action. I've been full-length flywheels for so long, its high time I diversify :D
I can see people pre-loading a mega dart into the barrel and carry it in-pocket for quick special ammo load.

I personally think The Styker looks better than The Nexus. Just a little less modularity.
when u put the mega darts in, it could be similar to what the ww2 americans used. They could put grenades in their m1 garand barrels and shoot them out so if anyone makes a film, they could try to make the gun look more similar to an m1 garand by putting a shorter mag.

I got one the other day and my one gripe is the stock. The stupid cheek rest makes it so you have to smash your face against it to even remotely want to use the iron sights. Also did anyone else's half length magazine break immediately? Mine's dart pusher came free of the spring and the spring tangled on itself the first time I loaded it. Popped it open and fixed it and it did it again within 10 minutes of use. I might've just gotten a lemon though. I'm gonna buy a talon mag soon but in the meantime this thing yeets full length darts with impunity. Glad I picked it up, just wish my half length mag wasn't busted. 9/10

I was going to get a nexus pro but maybe I will grab the Stryker instead. I think I prefer the shotgun pump style out of the box. Plus, I think Target is a better store than Walmart in general so I would prefer to give them my money.
