I've eaten a few times at the Perla Nerga and enjoyed every meal. And you're absolutely correct about the best ice cream in the world at Antiu Xixona. Can't wait to visit them again!
Hola to your both. Been to costa teguise for 24 years and I’m ashamed to say this was out 1st year actually visiting Arrecife instead of just passing through. We’ve been back 4 times so far on our break and it’s stunning. Love charco san Gines . We hat the paella in the perla negra and I agree it was amazing. Have recommended it to other friends. How did you enjoy the food at bellavista?
Hi Julie & Mike. I ate at El Toro a few times when Luis Leon was there. Did I not see a tribute to Luis recently as he was retiring? I may well be mistaken!
It was closed at the time. Locals weren't happy with the way it was being run. A popular, previous president has been reinstated, and he's currently putting a team together who will re-open it as a proper sociedad again.
Off to the Italian tomorrow may have to book

Interesting Mike. It would be great to know the prices of the different places. I agree about the fish bocadillos at Ginory they are very tasty.
Good point - we'll have to do it again sometime soon and give a price guide.

The meal was fabulous, thank you - you can pretty much guarantee great food at the charco, wherever you go.

Yes, he sold Toro some time ago, but he started the business there originally.
You missed the sociedad there, Casa del Miedo. In fairness to you it did look closed but it is A great place to eat.
