I don't quite understand this comment. In 2022 the bears were 3-14 and in 2023 they went 7-10. This represents a overall record of 10-24. This is not a good win percentage. I got hyped last year only to see this team really underwhelm. Not expecting much until the bears prove they can win close games and actually make the playoffs. It is the bears we are talking about here lol

Biggest vulnerability in my opinion is interior O-line. Next is D-line. But you have to either take best available or trade back.

I am really fond of Justin Fields & I really wished he would remain a Bear but hearing Tom talk about it somehow calmed me down about the decision.... We have a new 5 year clock with an other young talented quarterback.. Even though I am not sold on Celeb Williams. I understand the business part of the trade. Justin never had a good center or two star receivers. This team is more stable than any year with Fields at the helm!!!!
Is Ryan Poles the grown-up version of Manny from Modern Family or is it just me? lol I LOVE Poles as our GM and as long as Williams does not get hurt we will rule the league for a long time!!

Well he won the championship but still he won’t get drafted #1 someone always bites at the hyped up player they always do I’m just hoping they trade down. The dumb team will be whoever ends up with Caleb.
@@NotNykoh he’s faced a few of the top 10 defenses in the country, field general, gets the ball out, wins. I advise everyone to compare lowlight videos of JJ, Williams, and Daniels.
In his most inefficient game against Penn State, he went 7/8 and took 1 sack against the sack leader. The kid is just a winner.
Leave it to the Bears to ruin a once in a franchise opportunity to set the team up to win in perpetuity and draft a massive bust like Williams instead

Sad but true he said he is trying to break the cycle but he did exactly what pace and emery did to extend their careers. Caleb isn’t the qb to get 4,000 yards or 30 td’s he isn’t built for it.

Ryan Poles you simply liked Caleb more than Justin thats all there is to it, you could have gotten MHJ while trading down for future draft picks, and had justin on the team for 2 more years before you had to get a contract done, surly another QB would be "generational" 2 years from now LOL, hopefully caleb or whoever your gonna draft likes getting sacked in the cold LOL

Most fans are 50/50 on Caleb I’m definitely in the the guy is a diva and no stats to back it up.
I googled all time ncaa passing records then I looked at every available qb in this draft mid,left,right short, mid, and long throws. lol Caleb didn’t dominate nothing. Not one thing but he is the generational qb pfft all nil hype
Plus he is on the smaller side and hates to run (his words) couldn’t hit the long ball at his own pro day.
I don’t care about the painting nails or crying I get tired of that cliche on men so that stuff doesn’t bug me but what does is his Lamar ball type dad, his disrespect on combine his ego and demeanor. USC will have about 8 solid players drafted but he couldn’t lift up that team? Something is off and I’m one of the few that see’s it. Some team always pick a dud. I’m holding out hope it isn’t the bears but bears have never been a class act franchise. And considering that poles says we needed consistency ( where is it exactly? You fired everyone but fluse got rid of the teams captain and didn’t do nothing to improve the defense? Lost all the draft picks this year for Henry,feeney, and traded a 4 for a 32 year old oft injured, traded a 5th for a journeyman in bates, didn’t get anything for fields. Needed a center, 3tech,and de, a third wr, a third te. Had the money signed some band aids on the o line. And band aid cb for too much money safety was literally everywhere. And wasted 8 mill on swift a position that didn’t need that much upgrade.

I will never understand why you chose Caleb Williams over Justin Fields… Why? He was improving every game, his passes were getting shorter, his delivery getting faster, his recognition ball placement and other things needed to become a more than above average NFL quarterback were on display, I understand he needs a little more time still, and definitely more talent but every quarterback develops at a different pace and I think Justin fields could’ve turned into a great, one of the greatest Chicago Bears in history if we had the opportunity to watch him develop instead of expecting this young guy Caleb Williams, tagged in flagged by the police, as your new starting quarterback when there are so many marks and lies… He burns down to the ground, look I don’t want to get rid of you because I really like you and I was very hopeful, I think they did a great job with the rest of the team and I know it can still get better. but since Field isn’t your choice is that a reason to not trust him and give him a little more time to improve? I mean it was very evident that children, kids, everyone practically was interested in keeping Justin Fields and then you’ll hear mountain lions, coyotes etc. making noise in the background… I don’t know if that’s him or some wolves but if they are angry… I’m fucking angry and we should be you basically gave away Justin Fields for literally nothing all because you couldn’t wait another year for him to develop a little bit more… Maybe he should fucking fire yourself instead of blaming him when it’s obviously not all of his fault he has some blame like any quarterback but honestly how can a guy continue just to say levelheaded after all the nonsense he has to go through…he’s such a great kid, honest, true, do you want to be a friend of his… Well, I hope it works out with whomever but my choice is Jaylen Daniels not, not, not Caleb Williams… Whom I think is overrated and keeps repeating far too often

Make the same decision u made with Jalen Carter. U realized he wasn't hyped about being a Bear, which is 1 reason ryan dodged him. Should consider that same move with Caleb. Because I don't think he wants to be here, based off non verbals when the bears are brought up, and I never seen him do anything in college that will make me say he's the one. Should ask each rookie QB if they actually want to play in Chicago, don't force it

@@NotNykohin fairness there have been so many 1st round qb draft busts. Ryan Leaf, JaMarcus Russell, Johnny manziel, RGiii, Tim Couch, David Klinger......etc etc. We don't know if Caleb is going to be able to transition his skills to the NFL. Only time will tell
