I have an '06 Chevy Malibu, & I did the same thing with a cheap strip of foam from Walmart, & it did A LOT for only $3. Thanks for this vid! Saved me from needing to buy sound deadening foam & taking apart the rear deck.
Did the same thing and it worked, only difference is I did the whole lower back lid with a longer strip from one end to the other beacause i have a 8 inch sub in the middle that comes stock and it's tucked in a bit further so you can't see the foam

I stuck an old kippah and it fixed it. The rattle spoils the sound quality.
