    A tip as soon as you get your battery in and get everything hooked up start the bike before you put the panel in the seat and all back on to make sure that it starts so you won't have to double work if it don't to take the panel on all back off again❤

    It takes me an hour for my 2012 Superlow. The negative cable is super short

    The cover is that easy to pop off? This whole time I’ve been using a flat head screw driver to take it off

    What size wrench did you use? And the terminal cords are loose wires but all go to the closest terminal to the outside correct?

    Have you got an alarm on your bike. If so how did you deactivate it. ??

      I do have an alarm on my bike but I have not had to disarm it yet. My guess would be that you need to have the key fob with you and then cycle the on/off but the bike manual should have that info on it too

    OMG... There is hex screw 3/16 under the battery... Why didn't you use it... I understand that it was 2 years ago, but still...

    So weird? Your battery is backwards, mine goes in the other way. It’s a 2014 883.

    Does it matter what terminal you do

    • @Phurzt
      @Phurzt 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Negative first, but if its totally dead it doesn't matter. For safety always do negative first.

      @@Phurzt If you pull the main fuse before removing the terminal screws, the system is dead and it doesn't matter which you disconnect first. I normally disconnect the + then the -. My Iron has the factory alarm and immobiliser so to prevent the alarm sounding I turn the ignition on before pulling the main fuse.

      Dude! Right you are. At my Suzuki I pop off the seat and the battery is there. Simple as that. Best regards! Chris
