    Here's a 8 minute fun video about a 3 day process of making a custom ferro rod , I used desert ironwood , blue and red vulcanized liners and brass ferrule , hope you like it , give a thumbs up and please share the video.
    Hope to be outdoors in the next video :)

    Directed from Joe Robinets video here, and got to say very satisfied with your work, always happy to support custom work. Also very hard to find a monster ferro rod deff gives a sense of security. Will be ordering one soon from Greece.

      Haha, I am confident Joe would have won that survival contest, if it weren’t for losing that ferrorod. Although I do have respect for the ‘winner,’ no one seems to factor in that he lost more than 70 lbs in his 84 days, no one else had that to lose.... a huge benefit. They were allowed 10 items, they didn’t consider smuggling in 70 lbs of fat energy.

    • @pilesofpoodles4954
      @pilesofpoodles4954 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      HF Survival School Looks like the YP blanks are too pricey (might as well go full custom).. Instead, how about a Lauri PT whittler (5156 Lauri PT Whittler 80x21.5 mm).. with the same curly birch you typically use.. no sheath, no spacers (unless you need to for stability, then red will be fine), shipped to USA ;) You do a great job with that handle shape.. Hopefully the handles aren't longer than 4.25 inches
