    As a carpenter my lower back is quite sick of carrying tools around my waist. None-the-less this is cool as heck and very Batman! Maybe a pair of suspenders attached to the belt?

    • @Rick_Sanchez_C137_
      @Rick_Sanchez_C137_ 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Several militaries have a version of gear carrying system based on a belt, and most of them have suspenders possible (make sure to pad the suspenders over the shoulders)...

    Beautiful leather work. You have some great high quality bushcraft knives. I bought a few of the flint and steel products. The only critique would be the leather holder for your water bottle. There are some good ideas for the leather carrying sheath for your weather bottle.

    Interesting video. My two "bushcraft" tools are 1. HELLE GT hunting knife 2. Council Tool Wood-Craft 19" handle axe.
    When backpacking I do not carry either of these as they are much too heavy. They are for canoe and car camping but the knife IS carried when backpack hunting in Nevada.

    Those are necessary items when going out camping and I have my utility belt setup to carry my primary knife, canteen, firesteel and striker, possibly my saw, which is in my backpack now, and my bag to pick up wood to start a fire. Everything else is in my EDC bag, or my primary backpack.

    I think the puukko seems really good for the price its got a decent steel (80crv2) which i think is a step above something like 1095 and i think the fit and finish looks really nice the sheath is also beautiful

    I'm a lightweight backpacker so I would not carry your (or my) bushcraft tools on a hike.
    BUT... I do own a Council Tool Wood-Craft 19" axe, a HELLE "GT" hunting knife and Bob Destrude buck saw for canoe and car camping. Those are my "bushcraft" tools.
