Excellent job! Love anyone with a passion for audio and some DIY skills. Might've spruced up the oxidized rca connections on the rear by sanding them with a fine grit.
You should have replaced the old electrolytic capacitors, diodes, and noisy transistors and the unit would be usable for another 30 years. There’s more to restoring vintage electronics than cleaning it. Keep at it 👍
Thank you very much for commenting. Welcome to Bredy Restorations. I am preparing to restore another receiver, I will make these replacements on this one. Thank you very much for your tip. 😎👍
Olá! Seja bem vindo ao Bredy Restorations. Tem como sim, você liga ele na entrada tape2 do reciver, depois aciona a tecla tape2 monitor no painel do Receiver ou no controle remoto. Espero ter ajudado. 😎 ✌️
Awesome videos !! Thank you for sharing !! How do you open the white/grey ribbon cable connectors to release the tension so the cable can be pulled out ? They seem to have a locking clip on each side. You make it look so easy but I can't get my ribbon cables out at all. Thanks !!!
Thank you for your comment and welcome to Bredy Restorations. As for the connectors, you press the low connector and it releases the cables. Hope this helps. 😎✌️
Hello @dodgelexux1784, welcome to Bredy Restorations. My location is in Brasília, capital of Brazil, I do these restorations as a hobby. I haven't worked as a technician for a long time. Sorry I can't help you.

Chemicals, also small pieces of metal can really chew up your fingertips
