I love how Evangelicals will tell us as Christians and LDS church members how we can be saved. They have no clue about the LDS doctrine and how it changes lives. I am an ex-Evangelical Christian, so I know about their intentions. But they a clueless. They have a narrow perspective on scripture. They want to help save us. But that kind of help we don't need.
AMEN AND WHO IS MORE "AFAR OFF" THAN THOSE BEYOND THIS LIFE? Who else is doing what it takes to offer the blessings of salvation to even the dead but Jesus Christ's restored authorized church? God bless you Brother David!!
I became active in the church when I was 14 after reading the book of Mormon. After that I read through the entire Bible over the next year and a half. I don't understand how someone could come to the conclusion that mere confession of Christ as savior was enough for salvation. The Christ I read about taught repentance, keeping commandments, and taking up your cross. Also James specifically says faith without works is dead pointing out that the devil and his angels acknowledge that Christ is the Son of God.
The answer to the question of how some one could come to the conclusion that confessing Chrit is two things as I have noticed. First chery picking verses, the idea comes from the thief on the cross where as they see it Jesus say to him today you will be with me in paradise. They interpret that as you will be in heaven with me. The second thing I have noticed is that most do not read the Bible they listen to their pastor and then take what he says and his interpretation. Because there is truth mingled in with misinterpretation and how it is presented making it all seem good and right they accept it and don't study the teachings as a whole.

By your own logic you think Christ gave a commandment that cannot ever be fulfilled. Just because a person won't fully embrace the character of Christ in mortal life doesn't mean through Christ's grace that he can extend because of his atonement and continual repentance and yielding of one's heart to God that that can never happen. Yes, a person can backslide and return to old sins but that doesn't make repentance of no effect. It simply means an individual chose to make it so for themselves by choosing to no longer follow God.
@@markandpamtaylor8341 Wait, those who do what God says will experience the wrath of God for doing what God says? They get punished for obeying God? Now it's true that our works can't save us. For two people can do all the same works, one because they love God and their neighbors and don't want to do anything to hurt them, the other because that's just what everyone else is doing or because they were told to, but only the one that did them out of love will be saved. For faith worketh by love, and it is by grace THROUGH FAITH that we are saved, and we see that by works a man is justified and not by faith only, for faith if it hath not works is dead, being alone. So we can see from the Bible that the Sola Fide (Faith Alone) is strictly refuted by the Bible, as are the other man made doctrines of Solas.
@markandpamtaylor8341 Why are these 2 things thought to be mutually exclusive? Why can't we WANT to do our best acts BECAUSE the Lord wants us to? Doing good works and keeping commandments FOR Jesus is never a bad thing. Yes, there are miracles, but for the most part, we are His hands on this earth. We are to do His works as He asks. We are His SERVANTS . That has the word serve right inside it and that's an action verb. If we just "go through the motions" without having the "change of heart", thinking we can earn it ourselves and not realizing we absolutely NEED His atonement... yes, we would be like the Pharisee. How could we know another person is only "going through the motions", though? That's for God to judge because only He really knows our true hearts. I don't understand Christians criticizing one another. That's contrary to His teachings. Jesus said it himself - Love the Lord and love your neighbor. ❤❤❤ I send good wishes to all my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. May we each emulate our Savior more and more each day by helping each other. 😊
@@markandpamtaylor8341 Yes I too can agree w that. In fact, I like that you pointed out at the beginning of your chain that we keep His commandments IF we love Him, which of course is quoting Jesus' own teachings as recorded in the 4 Gospels. That teaching always brings me back to a passage (also quoted above by someone here) which is found in one of the books of Nephi about pressing forward having a perfect brightness of hope AND A LOVE OF GOD and all mankind. Btw, when I block-letter I'm not meaning to yell or raise my voice or chastise anyone. It's just my way of italicizing but I don't know how to use that feature on my phone LOL I often think of people like St. Francis of Assisi, who is revered by our Catholic brothers and sisters as someone who had so much love in his heart that his love extended to all living creatures, even the lowly animals ❤️

Well done brother! Imputed righteousness where God only sees the blood of Jesus and not our actual condition means we have deceived God, and our righteousness is a legal fiction. And being baptized in Jesus’ name means we must be authorized to do so, like having His power of attorney as ambassadors of Him. @@markandpamtaylor8341 so you disregard where James, writing under inspiration, interprets the meaning of that passage for those who attempt to cherry pick it. Hear the word of God: James 2:22-24 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
@@trailbackhome to this day I still do not understand why they refuse to accept the truth of these verses. You simply can't bend around the plainness of James 2:14. It's as if someone removed common sense from them, and they are no longer able to think for themselves. This baffles me to no end. You show someone a verse that says "the color of the shirt is pink and blue" and the equivalent argument they would say is "the color is pink". But what about where it says it's also blue?..... "the color is pink". But it ALSO says it's blue....... "the color is pink".
Excellent point, David!!! You can't stake your beliefs on excepts from a letter and entirely ignore the rest of the letter. That's absurd on its face...and yet they do it.
Thank you again brother David for sharing and strengthening my testimony. There is only one Jesus Christ. He has a Prophet and Apostles with proper Priesthood authority. Everyone will have the opportunity to accept or reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love love love your testimony, teaching and example.
Much of the gulf between evangelicals and LDS Christians has to do with terminology. Evangelicals use terms like saved, grace, holy spirit of promise, holy spirit, Trinity, born again, accept Christ into your heart, and missionary work. Now think of all the terminology that LDS use. Terms like grace, with all that we can do, testimony, stake, ward, branch, sacrament meeting, relief society, elder's quorum, prophets, seers, revelators, restoration, standard works, exaltation, YSA, seminary, priesthood, and many others. That creates a gap. Then there is a misunderstanding of the Book of Mormon, Godhood, what version of the Bible we use, etc.
3rd Article of Faith: We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
@@markandpamtaylor8341 Perfection is the end goal. He's commanding us to be worthy to dwell with Him. The only way to get from sin to perfection is through repentence, which was made available by the atonement of Jesus Christ. Read the 3rd article of faith again.

@@markandpamtaylor8341 You needn't worry about latter day saints believing in Christ. For us that is basic and foundational. It's ground zero for our faith. It's square one. First thing we teach children. Telling us we need to believe in Christ is like frantically proclaiming that the sky is blue. But as somebody who has forsaken a number of specific sins, I assure you that it can be done. There is no conundrum. To say that our mistakes cannot be abandoned is to say that the atonement doesn't actually work. I strongly urge you to reconsider that stance. If one resolves to never forsake their sins, then they've resigned to live no differently than unbelievers. That is not discipleship.
If I could, I'd love to add a few of my own thoughts to this conversation. When Paul talks about being saved by grace or saved by faith alone, I wholly agree with him. The question I would add would be this: "From what are you being saved?" In other words, what did Paul mean by being saved? Saved from what? The scriptures give us the answer. When the angel appeared to Mary, he promised her that her son would "...save his people from their sins". Paul himself agreed, saying "we shall be saved from wrath through him" (Romans 5:9). Sin without payment, will incur the wrath of God. The salvation described by Paul is most often referring to this salvation of wrath. It's described in greater detail in latter-day revelation in D&C 19. When we turn to Jesus Christ and put our sins upon Him, accept Him and His atoning sacrifice, He pays the price for our sins. We are saved from the wrath of God. But being saved is not a synonym for exaltation. Note what Jesus told the rich young ruler in Mark 17. The young ruler asked, "what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?" If being saved and eternal life were synonymous, Jesus could have simply answered, "believe in me". But He didn't. His answer was: "Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother" (Mark 17:19). When the young man explained that he had done all of those things from his youth, Jesus discerning his soul and nature, answered this way: "go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me" (Mark 17:21). This additional layer of requirements (the law of consecration) was a bit too much and Mark tells us that the young man "went away grieved". He was wealthy and apparently loved his possessions more than he loved God. I've rambled on, but when someone asks me what I need to do to be saved, I ask them what think being saved means.
You have to define “saved” in this discussion. Are we talking about getting your body back and just going to heaven, or are we talking about exaltation? The first requires zero actions (e.g. no magic prayers, no change of heart, no loving God), it’s free through the grace of God, but the second is based completely on our behavior and commitments.
Yes that difference is key. These people don't even believe in exaltation even though it's in the Bible (maybe some of them believe in some form of it but I've heard them outright condemn the idea). You can't become a master painter without decades of work and study. The principle that work is required to become something is written into the fabric of the universe.
Evangelicals think there is one way to be saved. It involves the sinner's prayer. That means accepting you are a sinner and accepting Jesus as your Savior. Invite Jesus into your heart. They think that's all there is. There is no process of sanctification, no faith without words is dead. Nor is there any requirement for baptism. Evangelicals cite grace in 2024, yet do not fully understand it as a comment. And of course Mormons are not saved in their eyes. I came from the evangelical tradition. I became LDS 12 years after leaving my old church. I have never regretted it.
Thank you for your testimony David, I'm so grateful for the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. What amazing knowledge that we have. off course the Evangelicals take it too far by saying Faith Alone.. and some of us Latter-Day-Saints at times put too much pressure on ourselves. And at times forget the Actual Atonement. I know that Gods Plan is perfect aka complete. - I'm grateful that he has confidence in us to do something with ourselves. that we get to be partakers of Gods Grace through our Lord and Saviour. I love that the Gospel is about learning to become like our Saviour and our Heavenly Father. I'm amazed at Gods Love that the Atonement of Jesus has saved all humanity.. regardless of their Faith. That he has created a plan to give as much glory as we want to take.. are willing to live. I'm also grateful for the knowledge that salvation isn't a moment.. but a focus. - where is our compass what direction is it heading. Who are we looking to as we falter as we succeed. The power of our eldest brother Jesus Christ is real. He will always fight for us.
David, you’re amazing. I’ve been following you since before your baptism. Thank you for the positive effect you had on me and my testimony. God bless you Brother!!!
David, two questions for you: 1) what do evangekicals argue about when you show them the scripture that says faith without works is dead? 2) what do they think of repentance? Repentance is work, is it not? Do they truly believe that just believing in Christ without working at repenting for their sins, will still save them? If so what's the point?
@@markandpamtaylor8341 I think you need to reread James 2 it's very clear on what faith is, you can't just say I believe in Christ and then go murder people in cold blood and expect heaven, it's ridiculous even to kids. They believe that good works only follow faith, and only these works are good works. So, if you believe, if you have faith, then God will change you and then you will bring forth good works, and its that works without which faith is death. After that you are saved through Christ, more is not needed.
@@SimonDaumMusic so if I understand correctly.... you're saying Evangelicals believe that by only exercising faith, God will then change you so that you will automatically do good works from here on out?
@@NOSPAM-pb4tu Excactly, good works, according to them, only follow faith. Though Paul was clear that all faith, as well as all works are unpleasing unto God if without charity. And so I would argue that for LDS, what gives value to our works is primarely our charity, and only secondarely our faith. We see this with the good Samaritan, who was considered "good" not because of his faith or works, but merely because he brought forth mercy and charity from a pure heart. Here charity gave value to what the good Samaritan did, and so likewise is something God will consider "good" not something that comes only after faith.
Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, second repentance. Third baptism by emersion for the remission of sins. Fourth, the laying on of hands for the gift of the holy ghost. Is always a good response.

"Cherry-picking" the Bible- I like that description. So many people just snack on the cherries when they could be enjoying the whole feast. The house of Israel in Egypt was saved from the Destroying Angel by the blood of the lamb on their door frames and the feast of the lambs flesh on their tables. I thought the foundation of the Baptist sect was the belief that baptism by immersion was essential.
Mathew 7:21. Not every one that "saith unto me, 'Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
I have no quarrel with Paul, but why don't we rely on the words of Christ Himself as contained in the same Bible? Jesus said to repent, and be baptized as He Himself was, and receive the Holy Ghost, follow His commandments, do the works they had seen Him do, pray continually, search the scriptures, to be one as He and the Father are one, offer as a sacrifice a broken heart and a contrite spirit, be a humble follower, love God and your neighbor, observe the Sabbath, take the emblems of His death in remembrance of Him, rejoice in His resurrection, take His yoke upon us and learn of Him, ...and so much more. There are things Jesus Himself commanded us to do. Look it up, it's in the Bible.
Accepting Christ will “save” someone from Satan’s eternal grasp. Those who obtain even a telestial glory must accept Christ. Every knee shall bow…Advancement and exaltation requires more. This is more than merely being saved from death and hell, but greater glories and opportunities. This explains why there are three judgments and three resurrections.
Save yourself some time and ask them... In which kingdom are you trying to save others? WHERE DO YOU WANT TO BE SAVED? They get this strange look on their face.
This raises the question: What does it mean to be saved? Jesus said, 'except a man be born of water and of the spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God'. Is entering the kingdom of God more than merely being saved? It has a greater requirement and also assumes belief. Therefore, it implies a greater form of salvation unless believing would also lead to these two baptisms. Which is it?
It's easy for Baptist to confess Jesus outside the Conference Center. Nobody will kill them there. In Rome, when Paul wrote that epistle, confessing Chris could be a death sentence. Will these same Baptist confess Christ today in Saudi Arabia like they do in Salt Lake City? Besides that, most of those Paul was writing to he acknowledged were baptized already as Romans chapter 6 shows.
It seems that Romans 10:10 holds the answer, "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness." What is it that brings righteousness if not obedience to God's laws and commandments? What else is there that would affirm righteousness? Would God declare a person righteous if he or she were not doing their best to follow His will?

Moses 6:60, by the covenant of the water ( to keep the commandments) and covenant of the priesthood instruction to recieve the Holy Ghost, we are justified. As we continue in our covenant, the blood of Christ sanctifies us. This is in Acts 2 as well as in Mose’s time
Let’s not forget that Peter said that the promise(covenant) is for all of us (to make) David, you read that like it’s a promise from God to everyone, but Peter said that the promise is for everyone (to make.) The word promise is in place of the word covenant. 😊 Peter describes that baptism is how we covenant with Christ and become justified by doing our best to keep the convent.
One of the problem at that time is that the people did NOT believe in Jesus Christ. Paul too did not believe in Jesus Christ until he got knocked down on the road to Damascus and had that vision.❤ During this intervention by the Savior, Paul saw Jesus Christ for himself, he now began the quest to convince the people that Jesus Christ is really the Son of God, that it was really the Savior who was crucified and that He is resurrected. After Paul's conviction on the road to Damascus and the truth of Jesus Christ was revealed to him, he spent the rest of his life bearing witness of Him telling them to believe in Jesus Christ as He is the only way in which they will be saved. These people in the jail, including the jailer, did not believe in Jesus Christ, hence Paul's answer to them that it is only through Christ that they will be saved. They have to believe in Him and call upon Him FIRST before moving to the next level of repentance and baptism...
That would match a “saved state” as prophets have said, true. Full salvation however is exaltation, everything below that doesn’t have eternal increase. I don’t want to go to an eternal glory that has limitations on the good I can experience and do.
Funny how if you keep reading acts 16 the next verse says "And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house." Why didn't Luke explain what the word of the lord was? Because the audience already knew what that meant 😂
The idea of "Believe only" is so riduculous. Belief is a NECESSARY, but not SUFFICIENT condition for salvation. You would have though this verses alone would solve this: The Rich Young Man (Mark 10:17-31; Luke 18:18-30): 16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. 18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, 19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
You were first baptised by people who doesn't believe in baptism, that in itself, was null and void. And these people did not have the proper authority to baptise which again makes it null and void. Yet baptism is necessary because it was the Savior who said, " Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost". A direct quote coming from Him. If we believe Jesus Christ, we have to believe what He says and follow the instructions that He gave us.
David, have you considered that you have travelled to three kingdoms to get where you are today? In Australia, it was analogous to the telestial kingdom, as you lived far away from the Temple. In Idaho, it was analogous to the terrestial kingdom, as you lived close to the Pocatello Temple. Now in Utah, it is analogous to the celestial kingdom, since you are surrounded by Temples, and Prophets and Apostles. Has your inner being gone through a similar progression? Are you ready to turn around and extend the chain of grace to those that are still dwelling in the lesser kingdoms, as they know not of better and best? I'm pretty sure that Pastor Jeff is ready to speak with you. And if you need a companion, consider David Boice. No matter your decision on these matters, my love for you is undiminished, even as greater blessings await all of the faithful as they march into hell for the heavenly cause.

Why should we only read what Paul write?????? Jesus Christ clearly said in John chapter 3 that you need to be "born again" but Jesus denotes that being born again involves being baptized .... : John 3 : 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. 9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? 10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? 13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

So blessed to be with you and all of my brothers and sisters on the Covenant Path!

@@markandpamtaylor8341 so you disregard where James, writing under inspiration, interprets the meaning of that passage for those who attempt to cherry pick it. Hear the word of God:
James 2:22-24
Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

You show someone a verse that says "the color of the shirt is pink and blue" and the equivalent argument they would say is "the color is pink". But what about where it says it's also blue?..... "the color is pink". But it ALSO says it's blue....... "the color is pink".
Looking forward to seeing the whole conversation!
Excellent point, David!!! You can't stake your beliefs on excepts from a letter and entirely ignore the rest of the letter. That's absurd on its face...and yet they do it.
Wow what a great video! You have such an ability to explain things clearly.
Saving the video to listen to Tomorrow at work since it's 11:30 pm and I have early work. I can't wait to hear it.
A Great Lesson...Thank You... Love You... Mike

3rd Article of Faith: We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
@@markandpamtaylor8341Aka the laws of the gospel? Yeah, I consider it a lifestyle.
@@markandpamtaylor8341 Perfection is the end goal. He's commanding us to be worthy to dwell with Him. The only way to get from sin to perfection is through repentence, which was made available by the atonement of Jesus Christ. Read the 3rd article of faith again.
We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost
Thank you for your testimony David,
I'm so grateful for the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Just love your channel, you give such wonderful and knowledgeable information on the gospel

David, you’re amazing. I’ve been following you since before your baptism. Thank you for the positive effect you had on me and my testimony. God bless you Brother!!!
David, two questions for you:
1) what do evangekicals argue about when you show them the scripture that says faith without works is dead?
2) what do they think of repentance? Repentance is work, is it not? Do they truly believe that just believing in Christ without working at repenting for their sins, will still save them? If so what's the point?
@@markandpamtaylor8341 I think you need to reread James 2 it's very clear on what faith is, you can't just say I believe in Christ and then go murder people in cold blood and expect heaven, it's ridiculous even to kids. And baptism is all over in the scriptures as a must, and that Baptist he talked to should have known his own church believed that way for hundreds of years, until they became milk, your house is on a foundation of sand.
Thanks David!

Not every one that
"saith unto me, 'Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Loved it!
I also saw the row of street preachers and spoke with a few.
Thanks, David.
It’s best to practice “heed them not” to the apostates.
The main thing I heard Was Huntsville Al TEMPLE woo hoo
It's easy for Baptist to confess Jesus outside the Conference Center. Nobody will kill them there. In Rome, when Paul wrote that epistle, confessing Chris could be a death sentence. Will these same Baptist confess Christ today in Saudi Arabia like they do in Salt Lake City?
Besides that, most of those Paul was writing to he acknowledged were baptized already as Romans chapter 6 shows.
you nailed it on the head!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It seems that Romans 10:10 holds the answer, "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness." What is it that brings righteousness if not obedience to God's laws and commandments? What else is there that would affirm righteousness? Would God declare a person righteous if he or she were not doing their best to follow His will?
Am Grateful for no commercials during this presentation.
The Church has ads on their General Conference videos on TH-cam. Ads are fine.
46:00 Right, it's "Well DONE, thou good and faithful servant", not "Well BELIEVED, thou good and faithful servant."

Moses 6:60, by the covenant of the water ( to keep the commandments) and covenant of the priesthood instruction to recieve the Holy Ghost, we are justified. As we continue in our covenant, the blood of Christ sanctifies us. This is in Acts 2 as well as in Mose’s time
Let’s not forget that Peter said that the promise(covenant) is for all of us (to make) David, you read that like it’s a promise from God to everyone, but Peter said that the promise is for everyone (to make.) Following took me that long too 6 months now cannot wait for my endowment
One of the problem at that time is that the people did NOT believe in Jesus Christ.
Paul too did not believe in Jesus Christ until he got knocked down on the road to Damascus and had that vision.❤
During this intervention by the Savior, Paul saw Jesus Christ for himself, he now began the quest to convince the people that Jesus Christ is really the Son of God, that it was really the Savior who was crucified and that He is resurrected.
Definition of his “saved”? He’s correct as his idea of saved likely matches the Terrestrial kingdom.
That would match a “saved state” as prophets have said, true. Full salvation however is exaltation, everything below that doesn’t have eternal increase.
I don’t want to go to an eternal glory that has limitations on the good I can experience and do.
Funny how if you keep reading acts 16 the next verse says "And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house."
Why didn't Luke explain what the word of the lord was? Because the audience already knew what that meant 😂
The idea of "Believe only" is so riduculous. Belief is a NECESSARY, but not SUFFICIENT condition for salvation. You would have though this verses alone would solve this: The Rich Young Man (Mark 10:17-31; Luke 18:18-30):
16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
Yet baptism is necessary because it was the Savior who said, " Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Ghost". A direct quote coming from Him.
If we believe Jesus Christ, we have to believe what He says and follow the instructions that He gave us.
Do you remember which of your videos responds to the “Gates of Hell” verse that Catholics are obsessed with? It’s in one of the Zane videos perhaps?

Jesus Christ clearly said in John chapter 3 that you need to be "born again" but Jesus denotes that being born again involves being baptized .... :
John 3 : 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Biblical salvation was for ancient Israel, no one else. It was salvation from their enemies and salvation from the death and curse of the law. If you don’t understand this you don’t understand these ancient Hebrew writings.
